This place was quite a surprise to me! We came here expecting bar and grill brewery type food and come to find not only that but an entire Indian food menu as well. And to top it off it was all very very good! I'd rank the Indian food higher than many full Indian food restaurants I've been to. Service was a bit slower but they seemed understaffed and this place is huge! They have an extensive area by the bar but there's also another entire dining room for sitting as well. Good vibes and nice views of the lake as well! Loved the visit we'll be back for sure!

Back here for my Daughters Fredonia Graduation. The food is very much authentic fresh & flavorful. Had dinner last night with my daughter, garlic nam rice and the most flavorful curry. Going to try something different tonight! I highly recommend this experience. The vibes views and food all come together for a great relaxing & dining experience.

We stopped in after a evening out with friends. I'm from Southern California and was not expecting to have Indian food. We arrived 25 minutes before the kitchen closed and they were able to accommodate our group. We had a variety of the Indian food offered and it was all great! I highly recommend you try everything Indian on this menu.

I was a bit disappointed to find that there wasn't much decor in the facility that would give me that vibe . A couple monster sightings and tiki cups, but that was it . The bartender was very engaging . He made the experience for us - he found out it was a birthday for one of us and offered a half price cocktail . I found my mai tai strong, yet sweet (as it should be ) . For food I ordered the chicken bites (I forgot the proper name ) with spicy Mayo dipping sauce . When it came to presentation , it looked kind of dry . But , as I took a bite , it was actually tender and juicy . It was the perfect protein packed appetizer I was looking for . The fries the other guests had ordered were good but could have used more sauce- same was said about the pasta dish . I heard the bartender and some of the kitchen staff will be relocating to NYC . I wish them the best of luck . If you are in the Fredonia area , check them out !

We had our dog with us so we only planted to get carry out, and then we discovered a shaded patio. We decided to stay and eat outside. I was standing at the host stand for quite a while because I hadn't noticed the seat yourself sign. I had also walked in the restaurant and was looking around for any employee - two servers at a table saw me standing there looking confused but then just went right back into the kitchen. When another guest pointed out the sign, I thought well that's great but if we want to sit outside will they ever know we are there. Someone finally returned to the bar and we were able to get a server. We ended up ordering three appetizers - skoat balls, cheese sticks, peach Burrata. All three good. I also ordered a blueberry mint mocktail beer that was actually quite disappointing. It was also quite a charming little town! Would like to go back again sometime, sadly that is unlikely to ever happen.

There was no one at any tables. There did not appear to be any lights on inside (including the lights of the "Open" sign on the door). There was one older gentleman standing inside, glaring out the window while talking on a phone, but that just made us uneasy to approach the door. Drove by around 7:30pm the same Saturday night. The "Open" sign was lit, but the place looked empty.

It came with brisket, pulled pork , sausage , chicken, ribs and two sides. The Corn bread melts in your mouth , and the mac and cheese side would even be perfect as a main ! My cocktail "smoke and mirrors", had a strong pear taste with a full brandy body. Definitely needs another staff member or two as the drink specialist was also serving the whole restaurant, taking orders and greeting. Including the outside. Although at times we were waiting , for example to pay as it got busier although we waited a while for our bill and drink refills but, it never felt excessively long even with this crutch. Price for quantity, taste , and its classy ambience and style make this place a must go in St. Catharines, even the whole Niagara Region !

While we were waiting, we watched another table get up and leave. As they walked out, one of the bartenders yelled across the restaurant, sarcastically saying, "Wow, okay, bye. Thanks for coming in." I looked at my wife and said, "They must have been waiting a while." A minute or two later, our bartender, Jenn, finally came over to greet us. Since our table didn't have menus, we grabbed the ones left behind by the table that had just walked out so we could at least look things over. We ordered an appetizer and the cocktail flight. Jenn mentioned the drinks would take a little while because it was four mini cocktails. That wasn't an issue at all--we told her there was no rush. Ironically, the drinks came out quickly. Unfortunately, they were disappointing. I understand that well-made cocktails shouldn't taste overly alcoholic, but these tasted watered down, like mostly mixer with very little spirit. They lacked any real flavor or balance. Once the drinks arrived, we ordered a few more appetizers. Shortly after, all of the food came out at once. Jenn warned us to be careful because the plates were extremely hot. Having worked in the restaurant industry, that's usually a red flag--it often means the food has been sitting under a heat lamp. Sure enough, while the plates were scorching hot, the food itself was only warm. While Jenn was at the table, I asked for a spirits flight. She told me it would be a while before she could get to it, and I told her that was completely fine. Unfortunately, she never came back to check on us. There was no opportunity to mention the disappointing drinks or that the food wasn't hot. By the time she finally returned, we had already eaten about 75% of our meal, and she came back empty-handed. She then asked if I still wanted the spirits flight. At that point, between the disappointing cocktails, lukewarm food, and inattentive service, I was simply ready to leave. I declined and asked for the check. Overall, this visit missed the mark in nearly every way. Poor first impressions, weak drinks, food that felt like it had been sitting, and service that was largely absent made for a very disappointing experience. I can't recommend Steelbound based on this visit. I'd honestly recommend grabbing a bite at the gas station across the street before coming here.

If two things weren't enough they also considered themselves an art house and had lots of paintings hanging up around the building. The inside of this place is pretty large with a large bar off to the left side and then some seating and other things off to the right. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery I decided to go with a flight here. I actually was able to use my wine tastings on beer here but the size wasn't too good and so I paid the $5 for 4 - 4 oz pours. Since the brewery is named 7 sins, as you would guess some of their beer names are also related to that. So for my 4 beers I went with Gluttony (Stout), Pre-prohibition Porter, Greed (Brown Ale) and Frye PA (IPA). Out of the bunch I enjoyed the Frye Pa with the Gluttony coming in a close second. I also thought that the Greed was pretty good but there was something about the porter which I didn't care for. There wasn't anything wrong with it but my palate just didn't care for it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed most of the beers that I had here and I think that $5 a flight is a steal.
