The ambiance is exactly what you want from a long-time Jamestown staple -- warm, comfy, and full of local relics and memories on the walls. It feels like home the moment you walk in. The food is homemade and always hits the spot. Their soups change daily and are consistently delicious, and my absolute favorite thing on the menu is the eggplant parm sandwich -- seriously, so good. Everything is made with love and tradition. Even though I don't make it there as often these days, The Pub will always be one of those timeless Jamestown spots I'll keep coming back to.

The bartender was super friendly and gave us some good tips on what to do locally. She also made us some "special shots" that we really loved. So much so that we ended up ordering a second round of them. She really knows how to pour a good drink. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the place, who was a very lovely woman. She told us a little bit about the history of the place and was very welcoming towards us. Her father was "Jack" from whom they got the name of the place from. We did also order some appetizers while we were there. I ordered the pizza log which was really good. It's comparable to an egg roll but with pizza inside. Delicious! My boyfriend ordered some fries and enjoyed them as well. Good food, good drinks and good company. We had a great time here and will definitely be back.
