The food was amazing! The drinks and ambiance were also amazing. This was an unexpected gem in Cassadaga. So cute and rustic. The outdoor area was perfect and shaded. I loved it.

I'm a Halloween person! Like year round lifestyle choice haha! This is some of the coolest Halloween decorations I've seen in a place! Amazing nice crispy wings with many great flavs and nice thick ranch! The only down sides to this place are the long wait time on food, bad cell reception (I can't even check in), and it's pretty pricy for what and where it is.

5 Stars for the wonderful Halloween decor. Sadly no one under 21 is allowed to see it (or eat there.) No parties over 6 people allowed and no credit cards allowed. The food was also 5 Stars. Pot roast dinner and order of spicy chile wings. Delicious. However, very slow service and we could only be seated in the bar, although the dining room (with comfortable chairs) was only a few feet away. $17 for 10 chicken wings + $1 for extra bleu cheese? Is that the new normal? So, the negatives balanced out the positives and that is the reason for the 3 Stars. It used to be much better and hoping they can get back to that someday. (Photos are the Halloween decor, staff was nice looking.)

Wings ordered extra crispy that came out not even crispy.

Stop in on a busy Sunday and sat at the bar. First thing I noticed the employees were not that overly friendly. To start I ordered chicken wings extra crispy, when they came out they were actually not crispy at all. It was nice to see that the fish and seafood dinners are offered here on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's so I ordered the fish fry. The fish was good but I didn't care for either side Mac and Cheese and the Cauliflower. Maybe the employees are over worked as I don't believe there is another good place in the area but I would have given 3 stars but since I had to ask for napkins, Tartar sauce, since the kitchen forgot mine and it seemed like every person working there had a bad attitude or was grumpy.

I ordered the Tri-Pirogies, Garbage Charred Wings, Potato Salad and a Coke. $27.00 Authentic Polish ingredients, techniques and flavors, great quality. Garbage wings: I guessed plum, honey, bourbon, nutmeg.....I was told that I couldn't be more wrong....

What a pleasant surprise. We were driving from Syracuse to Jamestown and the kids were getting hangry. The ambiance alone is worth the pit stop. The menu is extensive pub fare - not too many healthy options - but if you are looking for deep fried pickles, pot roast wraps, wings and burgers, this is a pretty great option. Lots of beer options to wash it all down. Also check out the pierogies, which my son loved. My only complaint was how slow the kitchen was. We kept ourselves occupied with "Eye Spy" and trips to the bathroom to check out the decor.

    Garbage wings - sooooo good!

My fiance and I were looking for a place on the way home from Niagara Falls to the Cleveland area. We couldn't find anything worthwhile on the IExit app so I turned to Yelp! I talked my fiance into driving 15 minutes off the freeway to try Whiskey Hill Saloon for something different and I'm so glad we did! When we walked in, we had a choice to sit in the dining room, a covered patio area or the bar. We decided on the bar, as it had some cool decor and most patrons were in there. Had to follow the reviews and try the garbage wings - fried & chargrilled wings with spicy BBQ sauce - YUM! One of the best wings I've had. I ordered a sandwich that had brisket, pulled pork and ham with a BBQ sauce. That was also delicious! My fiance tried the brisket pierogies; he said they weren't to his liking but everything else was really good! Can't wait to come back on a trip out to the Finger Lakes region!

The one place close to us was the Stockton Hotel, an historic roadhouse that's been around since 1899. The place was crowded with other guests also looking for an open restaurant. We all ordered appetizers, but it took about 20 minutes for everything to arrive because the dishes came out one at a time instead of together. The same issue happened with the salads and entrees -- no one at our table received their food at the same time. One couple ordered the beef on weck sandwiches. The beef was extremely dry and overcooked. Being from Buffalo, I know what a good beef on weck should be, and this definitely was not it. My wife ordered the scallop dinner, which came with only five very small scallops that were overcooked. I ordered the beef tips, and they were so overcooked they were almost like jerky. I sent them back, and while they did remake the dish, it took another 15 minutes. Because of the delay, everyone else at the table had already finished eating before my replacement meal arrived. Our server was around, but overall was not very attentive throughout the meal.

The bartender was super friendly and gave us some good tips on what to do locally. She also made us some "special shots" that we really loved. So much so that we ended up ordering a second round of them. She really knows how to pour a good drink. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the place, who was a very lovely woman. She told us a little bit about the history of the place and was very welcoming towards us. Her father was "Jack" from whom they got the name of the place from. We did also order some appetizers while we were there. I ordered the pizza log which was really good. It's comparable to an egg roll but with pizza inside. Delicious! My boyfriend ordered some fries and enjoyed them as well. Good food, good drinks and good company. We had a great time here and will definitely be back. First of all, I cannot even remember her name, but you could call her little Julie, because she is a spitting replica of her momma "Toad" and we couldn't have had a friendlier waitress! I made a trip into the kitchen - not sure if they allow everyone to do so, but who was going to stop me? There I saw some slightly older friends - Marylou, Ruth and I believe Chris were all working their butts off getting food ready and cooking things perfectly - and I might add - in a VERY CLEAN kitchen! It was nice seeing them all - even better how they were able to take care of my birthday party of 8 people who all showed up at different times. The food was a GREAT value - have I had better - yes, have I had worse OMG I certainly have! However, for all the different items we ordered - the price was amazing and the food was all delicious. Some have told me that at times the service is slow, but I thought it was spot on and I've been all over! There is a huge bar area as well and amazingly it's much bigger then you'd imagine. The bathroom was clean as was the entire place and I'm telling you this place was popping! I battled back and forth whether this was a 4 or 5 star based on what it is - and I've decided that based on what it is - it is going to get my 5 star - not because I know the owners, but because I felt like I was someone special eating good food at terrific pricing! If you are ever in the area at supper time - I encourage you to stop in and grab a bite or cold one or both. They also have live entertainment there - so check them out and tell them I sent you! One last thing - I'd say they were average to loud, they have plenty of off street parking and they accept credit cards!
