Turkey sub with all the veggies!

Food was really good and extra large portions!! Service was excellent. Had very good drink specials and waitress and bartender were very helpful about other places to visit in the area.

This place is phenomenal, you wouldn't even recognize the building if you knew what was there before. Major overhaul, basically gutted and rebuilt. It's so nice! Limited bar menu for food right now until after labor day. Food was AMAZING! Open 365 days a year. Indoor and outdoor areas, pool, darts, arcade, restaurant, and huge bar with amazing mixologists. Very reasonable prices and it's huge inside! You need to check it out!

Day trip on this beautiful November 70-degree day to the Southern Tier ended at Old Tool - the menu.

I really wanted to love this place, but sadly we were way-overcharged: ** My husband's stuffed haddock special was $11.99. ** My daughter's vegan burger and fries was $12.99. ** My son's personal pizza and wings special was $10.99. ** My beef and cheddar and soup special was $10.99. ** The kids drank water; my husband and I each had sodas, I'm not sure the cost, but we'll say $3 each. Add that all up, it's $52.96, with tax, should be about $58 total. We were charged over $76! :-O My husband paid the bill, and didn't say anything until we hit the road. I wish he had told me--that was a significant error! I have some guesses as to how the overcharge happened: ** Our server was the owner. He was extremely nice, no complaints there. ** When we were chatting with him, he offered to give us a complimentary pretzel sticks and beer cheese, which of course we gratefully accepted. ** Perhaps he charged us for those? And perhaps her rang up four sodas, even though we only had two? ** Even so, two more sodas and a pretzel sticks appetizer should not be an additional roughly $20 bucks! ** He told us the specials prices as we were ordering, which weren't on the menu. Another guess is he rang out our son's pizza/wings special at regular price, and my beef and soup special at regular price per item?? ** Our daughter had waffle fries with her sandwich, maybe that was a huge upcharge?? I can't understand how the bill came to $76. And it's too bad, because all of the food was pretty good. And, if it was rang out at the correct prices we were told, it would have been a reasonable price for all the food we had. I can understand if the owner offered a free appetizer, then forgot and accidentally added it to he bill. But it's still way higher than just adding an appetizer would be. Oh, what a shame. :-( We really liked Old Tool Tavern otherwise. It was a bright, new space. Tables were appropriately spread out for social distancing. The owner was a very kind, attentive server. The food we had was pretty good, I'd give it 4-stars on its own. LOVED my broccoli cheese soup! Our vegan daughter LOVED the bean burger! Our son was happy with his pizza, and the hubbs enjoyed his fish mountain, as well. But the egregious overcharge cannot be overlooked. Yes, it is our fault that we didn't just say something then and there. I wish I would have eyed the bill before leaving. But this much of a cost discrepancy should not have happened in the first place, putting the burden on the customer to rectify it. Hopefully this was an isolated incident, as other seem to really like this place. I wish the Old Tool Tavern and it's owner very well.

My friend Lexy suggested we take the ride here and it was a great idea! Brand new place in what used to be a moose Lodge. Really nice. Best food in Randolph. Amazing Philly. Great wings. Yummy big burger. Way better than mjs and nicer inside. Going to start taking cards in a week.

This completely changed my view after my first experience many years ago not being the best, now…read morethey are 100% redeemed IMHO! Food quality and service have gone WAY up. We loved them and I think my 1 bad experience was just a fluke! The lady running it herself even rearranged seating for us all to sit together which was so kind of her. Totally different experience than before. Our 9 orders were completely accurate, our 9 drinks were kept full, and we only had a 22 minute wait on our 9 meals which is not bad at all considering they had 9 of us, another birthday party, a full bar, and other people dining. Everyone except 1 person absolutely LOVED their meal and can't wait to go back. My niece said her sandwich was soggy, but had great flavor so she'll just get a burger next time instead. 1/2 Italian sub: 10/10 amazing fresh roll, fresh produce, and great portion of meat. 3 Chicken finger baskets with fries: 9.5/10 these were great! The tenders weren't soggy or dry and the fries were great! Great meat flavor and texture! We'll just remember to order them saucier next time. Amazing thick ranch and sauces! 2 country sandwiches: 8/10 my niece and brother liked the flavor, they just said the produce made it very messy(juices were squashing out onto the plate every bite) soggy half way through so they'll order it with just onion straws next time or go with a burger instead. Steakhouse burger: 10/10 absolute perfection! Mushroom melt burger: 10/10 absolute perfection! When I got this years ago it was a dry crisp hockey puck with no flavor, my dad gave me a bite of his and this one was so juicy and flavorful. I'm getting that again now! Perfect amount of mushrooms and cheese! Delicious! Garbage burger: 10/10 absolute perfection! Great flavors! Everyone left happy and will be back! Thanks for making my dad's birthday party so special!

My friends and I came here for a quick bite but it was anything but quick. There were a few tables…read morethat were leaving as we walked in with one table who was already seated. 30 minutes after we ordered the waitress comes back and asks how we were doing. I was confused as it's been a while and we haven't received our food. Like what do you mean how are we doing? She also didn't mention anything about our food coming. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. 20 minutes after that and she asked us if we needed silverware. I was even more confused as we ordered 3 subs, 2 sets of wings, and a quesadilla. Only one thing on the menu required silverware and that was salads which none of us ordered. Our food took 53 minutes. The waitress never offered an explanation as to what happened. She said the kitchen was slammed but not once did I see anyone come in to pick up takeout. Two tables came in after us around 8pm and received their food before ours. Honesty is the best policy here. I've attached pictures of the time I took pictures of the menu (right before the waitress took the menu) and the time we got our food. Overall, just an odd experience.
