My friends and I came here for a quick bite but it was anything but quick. There were a few tables…read morethat were leaving as we walked in with one table who was already seated. 30 minutes after we ordered the waitress comes back and asks how we were doing. I was confused as it's been a while and we haven't received our food. Like what do you mean how are we doing? She also didn't mention anything about our food coming. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. 20 minutes after that and she asked us if we needed silverware. I was even more confused as we ordered 3 subs, 2 sets of wings, and a quesadilla. Only one thing on the menu required silverware and that was salads which none of us ordered. Our food took 53 minutes. The waitress never offered an explanation as to what happened. She said the kitchen was slammed but not once did I see anyone come in to pick up takeout. Two tables came in after us around 8pm and received their food before ours. Honesty is the best policy here. I've attached pictures of the time I took pictures of the menu (right before the waitress took the menu) and the time we got our food. Overall, just an odd experience.

Today we went in for a late lunch and were the only table in the dining room, yet we still had a…read morevery disappointing experience. We all ordered appetizers, but it took about 20 minutes for everything to arrive because the dishes came out one at a time instead of together. The same issue happened with the salads and entrees -- no one at our table received their food at the same time. One couple ordered the beef on weck sandwiches. The beef was extremely dry and overcooked. Being from Buffalo, I know what a good beef on weck should be, and this definitely was not it. My wife ordered the scallop dinner, which came with only five very small scallops that were overcooked. I ordered the beef tips, and they were so overcooked they were almost like jerky. I sent them back, and while they did remake the dish, it took another 15 minutes. Because of the delay, everyone else at the table had already finished eating before my replacement meal arrived. Our server was around, but overall was not very attentive throughout the meal.

My turkey club was great and portioned out well. The fries needed a little bit more cooking but still good. My husband had an Italian sandwich but the bread was not very good. Staying in the DoubleTree and this is a nice spot for dinner. The layout is standard hotel…read morerestaurant, but the decor was inviting and the place well lit. We entered and were warmly greeted by the Staff. Having just come from Buffalo (where we had wings for lunch), we thought we'd try some wings in Jamestown. Glad we did. Order of 10 wings ($16), each large and meaty with a nice crispy skin. We got the sweet chili sauce, which we liked very much. The sauce tasted similar to the Asian Zing at B-Dubs (sweet, yet tangy), and there was a generous portion slathered on the wings and these wings were superior to those we've had at B-Dubs. Honestly, these Jamestown wings hold their own against Buffalo city wings and at a slightly lower price point. The wings came with nice sized pieces of carrot and celery. Unlike Buffalo, where I understand you will be thrown out headfirst if you request ranch dressing, we were offered both ranch dressing and blue cheese. I'm not sure what dressing they use, but both were rich and bold tasting, as was the raspberry vinaigrette that my partner got with her entree. I recommend the dressings. We also ordered entrees - salmon burger (comes with side salad) and fish tacos (comes with fries). The salmon burger was very good. The fish tacos were nicely fried (crunchy outer coating with moist fish inside) with tomato and onion pieces sprinkled on top with a mild aioli. The fish tacos were fine. I've had better and I've had worse. I probably wouldn't get them again, but would the salmon burger. The fries with the fish tacos were fine. One issue that we had that really bothers me is that we ordered the wings and then asked the Staff to come back to take our entree order. She put the wing order in and a few minutes later we ordered our entrees. About 10 minutes later, she comes with the wings and the entrees, puts them on the table and apologizes that the kitchen screwed up and here's your food. I told her that this is something they really ticks me off - I specifically ordered the appetizer and waited to order the entrees to avoid this. She said she agreed and apologized again. A few minutes later, she came back and said she spoke to the manager and that they weren't going to charge us for the wings. There was so much food that came out at the same time that we asked to box up the entrees. Unfortunately, since we are staying at a hotel with a fridge, but no microwave, I expect that we will discard some of the food (cold fried fish and fries??!!). Anyway, I would have given 5 stars, but, although they deducted the appetizer from the bill, I think they only did that because I told them how much this annoys me. I don't get the impression they would take the appetizer off the price without a fuss. So, four stars. I really enjoyed the meal, though, even though much will likely be thrown away because of the app/entree fiasco. And, to be clear, our server (I think her name was Andrea) was very nice and friendly, and was sincerely apologetic for the kitchen's timing.

The speed of service, order accuracy, temperature of food, quality of food, cleanliness, and bartender friendliness has drastically declined. I've had fewer issues dine in, but a ton of problems with takeout. The straw that broke the camel's back was ordering saucy wings for takeout with extra ranch and paying for extra ranch. Waiting a long time to order a drink and tell them I was there for my order. My drink came with a fruit or drain fly in it and I waited forever on a not even busy night for the bartender to give me my takeout. When I got home they weren't saucy at all, were cold (I live only 7 mins away), and I only had 1 blue cheese when I ordered and paid for EXTRA RANCH. Even if I did eat blue cheese (NEVER) 1 isn't enough for a double order of wings. I had to go back out to the store 3 mins away and stand in line to buy ranch for my already cold wings. My parents who were regular burger eaters there(at least once a month) won't go back after getting dry burnt burgers too many times.

The Buffalo Chicken Wing pizza is one of the best (if not THE best) in the entire county--no matter what kind of crust you get it on. Our other favorites come from their appetizer (or "Shareables") menu: Nachos and Pickles w/ a Punch!
