We drove 2-1/2 hours to try this place based on yelp reviews. I was disappointed. We got a cheese pizza and wings. The wings are good. Large and well cooked. The pizza was nothing special. There is actually a pizza place twenty minutes away that has very good New York style pizza. Elmo's pizza does not have much flavor to it. It was mostly salty. Amazing friendly staff and owner :) they marinate, season, and cook thier own lamb. It's phenomenal! We got a beef and lamb gyro that was seriously one of the best gyros we've ever had. Super juicy and tender well seasoned meat. Very fresh produce. Buffalo chicken pizza with ranch instead of blue cheese. Delicious! Greek pizza was really good. Very fragrant and super filling. As a Lyft and Uber driver I drop and pick up a lot of people here. They all ranted and raved about how good this place is. My bestie Lexy was looking on Yelp for a new place and asked if I wanted to try it. I'm super happy we did,it was amazing. Staff greet you and explain the menu to you. Very helpful and nice. The owner is a really cool guy. I'm picky about my lamb and their in house made lamb and beef are some of the best I've had. Great gyro's and pizza, you should check them out. Quite an adventure of a night on a trip back from holiday valley. Googled great pizza places and this showed up with 5 stars so we went with low expectations. It was amazing! We got a large pepperoni and tangy mustard wings - think this will be a staple dinner every trip from now on. Kind of annoying to get to - but the workers were so nice and food excellent. This was my boyfriend and I's first time here. We decided to get it to go. We got a suprema pizza and 6 drumsticks with barbecue sauce. They were both amazing. I had ordered about a week ago and e everything was delicious except that the drumsticks were a tad over-cooked. The owner promised to make it right, and he did! He gave me a free order of drumsticks this time (cooked AMAZINGLY!), and we also got another pizza and an order of Ravioli that we happily paid for. Wow! The Ravioli was super tangy and delicious with wonderful sauce, and the pizza was again incredible. I've ordered here plenty of times but yesterday I had a bad experience. It was my one and only bad experience. I ordered chicken wings and they tasted like they were either old or freezer burned. Didn't taste good at all and I have wings from there all the time. Hopefully they'll get back on track the next time I order cause they have very good food. read more

Been going to this neighborhood deli for years but recently Elmo's took over and what a pleasant addition to area! Mediterranean menu has gluten free options, clearly homemade!! The owner was attentive, conscientious, and kind. His establishment has been renovated, clean and cozy....i tried the hummus and eggplant appetizer and the bread was NOT gluten free yet I had no reaction! I understand this is same recipe used for pizza crust so I'm interested to try some! For my lunch I decided on the lamb shawarma wrap with gluten free wrap. Amazing GF menu(almost everything is GF or has a substitute) and they cook everything separate. I had the falafel wrap in the most satisfying GF wrap ever. We also had delicious hummus, baba ganoush, and a italian eggplant spread that was phenomenal. This is a NY style pizza place with middle eastern foods for an extra plus. Maro goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Our party of seven had everything from the Mediterranean appetizers, NY style pizza, subs and shawarma. Everything with excellent and delicious! While they do have amazing NY style pizza (coming from someone who grew up on it back east), they also have a menu of sandwiches, Mediterranean dishes, and other goodies to choose from. Didn't know what to expect. Seemed to be a little Middle Eastern meets Greek. Turns out, that's what it is. Not really a dinner place but lunch wraps, schwarma, gyros, subs and pizza are a definite. The spices, seasonings and brilliant use of yogurt, chickpeas and sesame oil make for a very authentic meal. Very inexpensive but rich in flavor. The gluten free options for wraps, gyros and pizza are spot on. As good as the non gluten offerings. You HAVE to try this place. GREAT place!!! Can not recommend this place more. Family and I went out to try this for the first time. We ordered the greek piza and a "chix" pizza (buffalo chick) and we were very blown away by the taste of each one. The crust was perfect, both exploded with great taste. My kids had a hard time deciding which one was their fav since each one had its own unique taste. The restaurant is clean with casual music softly playing in the background and also the bathroom was very clean as well. All in all- my family will be putting this place in one of our Friday night pizza outings. read more
