Very disappointed with my experience at Coppola's Pizza in Bemus Point. The pizza was already overpriced for what I received, and then I was charged an additional $20 for delivery to a location not even 2,000 feet away. On top of that, a tip was added to the bill. Between the high food prices, the excessive delivery charge, and the added tip, the total cost was completely unreasonable for such a short delivery. Yum. Just yum. This is some good pizza. The crust has great texture, the sauce is flavorful, and the cheese blend is tasty without being too greasy. I am a sucker for a pizza with crispy 'roni cups, and Coppola's delivers on that front too. read more

One of my top pizza places, and my favorite in the around Chautauqua! My family comes from Pittsburgh to vacation in the area every summer and we've been getting Coppola's since the year they opened. Despite being very busy sometimes when we come in, the staff buzz around the back like bees and pump out pizzas in reasonable times. I can't remember a time when they weren't friendly or helpful. Plus it's a family owned business and we recognize many of the faces each time we return. The storefront stands out from the moment you approach it, with a bright white, red, and green paint job. A couple of patio tables have given us some nice outdoor seating when the weather is right. Inside is small with a few more tables, drink refrigerator, and lots of decor with Andriaccio family photos. They added shelving by the counter during the pandemic to help organize and speed up the takeout process. Now let's talk pizza! We LOVE the cup-shaped pepperonis! It's a shame most places don't use them, because the edges crisp and provide a great taste and crunch. Perfect amount of cheese and the sauce isn't acidic like some places where it's agitates the mouth and stomach. They also offer giant round and sheet sized pies which are great for our big vacation household! I'd love to try the unique shapes they've made too, like a Chautauqua Lake and Buffalo Bills pizza! A number of custom pizzas are also on the menu, but we always go with the classic cuppies! Whether it's getting our traditional first-night-at-the-lake pizza for dinner, or a quick lunch when we participate in the Bemus Point art shows, they're always convenient. I used to really look forward to coming to the lake and getting Coppola's. Getting a pizza place in Bemus at all was glorious and better, it quickly became one of my favorite pizza places in the US, despite living in the NYC area. Unfortunately, it's steadily gotten worse since it opened. Pizza quality has gone down, price has gone up, delivery has gotten less competent, and most troubling, this year they stopped making breadsticks, which I loved. That's fine, I guess, but they also refused to make them at all when asked. Aren't they just pizza dough in a different form? Is it that hard? I'd have paid anything for them. Oh well, the combination of disappointments means that not only have they dropped from my top five places in north America, but also that I won't bother ordering from them multiple times each summer anymore. At least I won't gain summer pizza weight. Also, I'm writing this review after ordering. "45min delivery time" and it's been over an hour. Losing again. EDIT: Finally got it. Decent if sparse toppings, but less interesting crust-- looks like a typical freezer-section-of-the grocery-store type thing. Ordered the Chicago style and it was not fully cooked. When we got home, we ended up putting it on our oven for 15 more minutes and it still didn't cook - what a disappointment !!! We were in the mood for pizza, so we literally threw this one out and ordered from Crosby's. First time in my life I had to throw out a pizza. We were afraid to eat the raw dough at risk of getting sick. We had a good pizza from Coppola in the past but likely won't be going back. Bummer. read more

This was a big fail for us. I feel like 2 stars might even be generous. Our food was luke warm when it arrived by delivery (maps said it was a 13 min drive from restaurant). None of the containers were vented, so the fries, onion rings, and chicken fingers, and wings just steamed the entire time and we're all mushy. The pizza had potential (The Godfather) if it would have been warm, but I was surprised at the lack of ingredients actually on it after reading the description on the menu. I wish I lived here so I could eat Coppola every week. It was so good. We ordered a 16" of The Undertaker Pizza (aka Meat Lover's) and 20 medium wings. The pizza was amazing. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and plentiful. It had a perfect proportion of cheese to sauce, and a nice amount of crust - not too thick, not too thin. And it was cooked perfectly. The wings were also excellent. The medium sauce was great - not too spicy, but still great Buffalo flavor. And they were also cooked perfectly. We had ordered some take out while staying in the area for a few nights. We were sadly disappointed. To start the delivery took quite awhile to arrive. The food was ice cold and the wings and fingers weren't packed properly so they were soggy. We tried The Godfather pizza, which is the premier pie on the menu and is advertised as the best seller since 2008. Most pizza places I have been to previously would load the premier pizza with toppings. This came out looking sad and bare. The crust was a little soggy and the quality was slightly above a frozen pizza. The wings has decent flavor but as I mentioned before were packed without punching holes in the lid of the styrofoam container. The texture was soggy and a bit rubbery from this. Finally, the chicken fingers were slightly more crispy than the wings. But their texture was also was hurt by the packaging. The quality of the chicken was poor. It was a ground up chicken patty, definitely the cheapest quality frozen stuff you can find. If you are in the area you would be better off finding something else. We ordered leftovers as snacks and ended tossing it all out because the original meal was so disappointing. We had a pizza that was a square 24 slice. You could choose to pick toppings per quarter. It was amazing. We had tropical, cowboy and one with many different meat toppings. It fed the 6 of us that afternoon and leftovers to snack on later! Great place to choose. You can't go wrong! read more

As far as nifty little places to go for a pizza, a wrap, a sub, a simple snack or meal Coppola's is pretty darn pleasant with a friendly staff. Huge pizza with big flavor and wings that teenagers devoured. We are at Lake Chautauqua for a family vacation and wanted an easy dinner on our first night. The cheese was barely melted, the mushrooms were dried flakes( I have never seen anything like it before) we had to order breadsticks in order to qualify for delivery and they were terrible too. Went to Coppola's for the first time last month. It was incredible. I had heard mixed reviews but I wanted to give it a chance. I got the Godfather pizza toppings on a hot sub... wow! So much flavor. My boyfriend and I bought a large pepperoni and Chicago style pizza for dinner with the grandparents and everyone was satisfied, which is hard to do! Staying at the KOA this weekend and was in the mood for some pizza. Coppola's Pizzeria was fantastic. Got a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni pizza. The sauce was delicious and not too sweet. And the pepperoni's were the old style small pepperoni that char a little bit on the end creating a little grease cup. So good. We also got the Godfather pizza. I highly recommend this pizza! Lastly - the customer service was excellent. My wife went to pick up the pizza and our youngest child fell asleep in the car on the way.
