    Medium pepperoni pizza.

One of my top pizza places, and my favorite in the around Chautauqua! My family comes from Pittsburgh to vacation in the area every summer and we've been getting Coppola's since the year they opened. Despite being very busy sometimes when we come in, the staff buzz around the back like bees and pump out pizzas in reasonable times. I can't remember a time when they weren't friendly or helpful. Plus it's a family owned business and we recognize many of the faces each time we return. The storefront stands out from the moment you approach it, with a bright white, red, and green paint job. A couple of patio tables have given us some nice outdoor seating when the weather is right. Inside is small with a few more tables, drink refrigerator, and lots of decor with Andriaccio family photos. They added shelving by the counter during the pandemic to help organize and speed up the takeout process. Now let's talk pizza! We LOVE the cup-shaped pepperonis! It's a shame most places don't use them, because the edges crisp and provide a great taste and crunch. Perfect amount of cheese and the sauce isn't acidic like some places where it's agitates the mouth and stomach. They also offer giant round and sheet sized pies which are great for our big vacation household! I'd love to try the unique shapes they've made too, like a Chautauqua Lake and Buffalo Bills pizza! A number of custom pizzas are also on the menu, but we always go with the classic cuppies! Whether it's getting our traditional first-night-at-the-lake pizza for dinner, or a quick lunch when we participate in the Bemus Point art shows, they're always convenient. Can't say enough about this place and we'll be back soon.

Great pizza, wings and service. ''Twas a busy Saturday night and my pizza was ready on time - much appreciated.

This was a big fail for us. I feel like 2 stars might even be generous. Our food was luke warm when it arrived by delivery (maps said it was a 13 min drive from restaurant). None of the containers were vented, so the fries, onion rings, and chicken fingers, and wings just steamed the entire time and we're all mushy. The pizza had potential (The Godfather) if it would have been warm, but I was surprised at the lack of ingredients actually on it after reading the description on the menu. This will be a pass for us next time we're in the area.

    16" Undertaker (aka Meat Lover's)

I wish I lived here so I could eat Coppola every week. It was so good. We ordered a 16" of The Undertaker Pizza (aka Meat Lover's) and 20 medium wings. The pizza was amazing. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and plentiful. It had a perfect proportion of cheese to sauce, and a nice amount of crust - not too thick, not too thin. And it was cooked perfectly. The wings were also excellent. The medium sauce was great - not too spicy, but still great Buffalo flavor. And they were also cooked perfectly. Slightly crisp on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. We ordered it to-go, which was very easy. Just a quick call and it was ready when they promised.

Can we get this in a Michelin guide for those traveling to Chautauqua or Lily Dale? What did we have? A perfectly juicy selection of lobster tail full of its own sweetness resting on top of a bed of pappardelle pasta bathing in saffron cream and sweet summer corn for pops of texture. A lumpy deep fried crab cake that crackled on the outside and then fell apart into juicy flakes upon breaking the fried shell. A sour dough bread with herbed butter that melted between the half sliced folds holding it together until fully pulling apart. Iced tea and lemonade Arnold Palmer with flavors that kept us guessing and curious about the added sweet spice profile. Definitely coming back, perhaps every single meal I can when I'm in the area.

The crust was similar to a Pizza Hut hand tossed but much better. It was cooked all the way through and the toppings were cooked perfectly. The second time the crust was overcooked on the outside, but undercooked on the inside. The pizza overall on the outside and all the toppings were overcooked, too brown, and it was dried out. So a dried out pizza with undercooked crust in the middle. This pizza would've been a one star rating. The first time we ate in the restaurant and were the first people in the restaurant for lunch to order pizza. Again, for the style it was an excellent pizza. The second time we ordered in the late afternoon takeout so that we could bring it back to our condo before the evening show at Chautauqua. My guess is the second time the oven was much hotter, so they could accommodate turning more pizzas more quickly. This made their product inferior by cooking it at too high of a temperature. The restaurant really needs to look for quality control, and consistency. Based on the number of good restaurants in the area, or more like lack there of, if they were more consistent, they could dominate the market.

OK, so here's the deal for this review. I have never been to the actual "Campi's"…read more But I have been to their food truck so many times over the years at the Italian festival on Hertel Avenue I go there just to get Campi's Pzza, because it is the best pizza ever. It is so thick and so much toppings are on it. It's so good. My two favorite, of course, are the cheese and pepperoni and the white pizza without all the veggies. They have a couple white pizzas. I like the one with the garlic and Ricotta cheese and whatever else is on their plain white pizza. The white pizza with all the veggies is good, but I'd rather just have the plain white pizza. The service is fast friendly except for the last guy I had. He was trying to tell me that they didn't have any white pizza without the veggies and then I pointed up to the top and said that's white pizza and then he gave me some that i actually wanted. I don't like when people act like they know it all and they don't know anything. They're expensive, but I tell you ,I don't care !! This is one place that I will pay the money for my slice of pizza. It is too good to pass up. I will continue to go back to the Italian festival every year, just to get this pizza and if any of you reading this, have not tried it yet, you must !!
