Came here for an early dinner and had a very good experience overall. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, and we started with the Maple Cream ale, 1 of 2 beers they make there. The giant pizza oven is part of the esthetic, so I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza which included smoked chicken on it, blue cheese crumbles and ranch. The pizza was good but it's the type of pizza where there's black soot on the bottom of the crust so it was messy to eat. We had been visiting wineries and were hungry. We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled on Grace and Abe's. The garage doors were open in the front of the building so we thought we would stop. As we walked up we saw a few people. And it smelled good. They have a large wood fire oven. So everything has the open wood fire smell. They were out of a lot of items which was very disappointing. They have a craft beer section but most of them were out. And a few menu items were also not available including the wings which I wanted. That is why the score. The hours of the place are only open 3 days so it seems they ran out and aren't going to replenish till next Thursday when they are open again. I guess we are on the backend of the day when they have limited selection. We got the pizza, and someone got the chicken ranch sandwich and a burger. We liked what we got. We also got some of the craft cocktails. It was good. I also have to compliment our server Catie. She was darling. We love her. She is so hung out with us and we had fun with her. Stopped in over the weekend with a group. Looked really nice on-line and reviews were ok, so we gave it a try. Supposed to be a brewery pub, and they had about 10 beers listed on their board, but they only had 3 or 4 actually available. (Why not adjust the board?) We ordered a few different types and when they bring you a full-to-the-rim glass - I call that strike one. Beer should have a foam head. None of the beers we ordered were very good. Flavors off style, no carbonatation, and a bit skunky. I admit I am a beer snob, but no one ordered a 2nd round, so that should tell you something. Food was acceptable, but nothing special. The salads were big and the burgers were fair. Chicken on the salads appeared to be boiled chicken - which we thought was odd, but they were ok. I really wanted to like the place. Service was good, music was good, loved the big pizza oven, it was clean, and looked really nice. Someone put a lot of money into the refurb of an old building and did a really nice job - but apparently their brewer and chef both quit and they are making due without them. read more

This was probably the worst dining experience my wife and I have had in Chautauqua County. The wings were still bloody and were the poorest tasting example of chicken wings I have had. They tasted and were textured like a ham hock. I didn't want to get salmonella, so I didn't eat more than a few wings once I saw they weren't cooked properly. My wife's $15 hamburger was the size of a picnic burger despite saying it is half a pound. They didn't have regular yellow mustard, and the burger came without pickle or any condiments. They make a pretty good wood fired pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. The crust was great however I took 1 star away because they don't use cup pepperoni so the pepperoni didn't have much flavor. The beers were good and a very homey setting in an old building. Would love to give them 5 stars but they really dropped the ball on our evening. We had a party of 10 and have had a problem getting served in a timely fashion before, so we were hoping they would do better. We really were. I'll start by saying that I really liked the sampler flight of beers I ordered. They were all great. But it took more than an hour to get our food, and that was for the lucky ones. Two of the orders didn't come out with the rest so they had to wait an additional 20 min. A third order specifically asked for a rare (very rare) burger and it came out well done so we asked them to re-do it. They conflated this request with one of the late orders so the late burger came out rare. The person who wanted the rare burger swapped with the one with the late order, and the one with the late order just ate the rest of the well-done burger. You might think that worked out but neither burger was the one either person wanted. One top of that, my dad's wine came out in a glass with lip marks on it, I didn't get the bbq sauce that was supposed to come with the Whole Hog burger, and the flies in the basement seating area were just incredible. We swatted at flies all night and they were so thick one drowned in my son's water (see picture). Kind of sad that no one paid attention to the horde of flies in the basement and did anything about it. We expected to wait for our meal because of the large party but over an hour was pushing it. The mistakes made the evening worse but the flies just sealed the one star rating. They have great food but the staff, cooks and management have to fix these issues. Worst dinner experience ever! I'm gluten-free and lactose free, so after reviewing the menu with my waitress, I settled on nachos without cheese sauce but with just cheddar cheese (hard cheeses have most of the lactose removed). It arrived with cheddar and either mozzarella or Jack cheese ( not sure which) so I asked them to just put cheddar on. They made a new one with no cheese, so I returned it, obviously angry. The waitress said she had gone to the chef before I ordered to make sure just cheddar was available. But the chef said it was not available when I returned m my second order of nachos. I went back to my table, and no one ever came to apologize or ask if I wanted something else. I was with others of course, and was left sitting at the table while they ate. If I come back to hear live music again, I'm eating at home first! read more

This pizza passes my acid test for deliciousness: it makes a terrific breakfast right out of the fridge. It really is that good. Crispiness varies. You may want to order it the way you like and, if taking out, check it before you leave. The service today was not good. A eye-level sign commands one to wait to be seated. I did. I waited and waited. I approached the counter, where a very busy pizza chef was working the oven; one can forgive his indifference, I suppose. When the waitress arrived, her response was not, "Sorry for the wait," or anything like that. She asked if I wanted to add a gratuity to my takeout tab. No. No, I didn't. The interior is industrial and cold, literally. Trendy, garage-style doors that face the street were raised two feet on this very brisk day; autumn leaves littered the cement floor. The wings were so salty they were not edible. 2 people had grilled sandwiches that were burnt black inside and out. Last was a burger topped with what looked and tasted like jerky. After stopping by the Westfield Farmers and Artisans Market, we grabbed lunch from Grace and Abe's. I tried a Mule and the Leave No Trace hard cider. They were refreshing, and I highly recommend sitting by the garage-style doors for a nice breeze while you eat. We tried the pub fries, the Big Island pizza, and the Westfield pizza. Friends who have a place in the area introduced us to G&A's tonight. After a day of wine tasting we switched to beer and had a great meal. Two wood-fired flat breads (Big Island and Westfield) and two burgers (Fireman and Mushroom/Swiss) ordered with sides of pub fries and Mac & Cheese. The flat breads had actual chewy, bready crusts with that very slightly burnt wood fired edges. They were delicious! We ordered the Fireman burger (which comes on Texas toast) and the mushroom/swiss (on a wonderful buttery roll) done medium and they arrived at the table perfectly medium. The absolutely yummy pub fries were thin sliced, crispy steak fries. The Mac & Cheese was good but not did not live up to the rest of the food. The beers were all good (we ordered 3 flights). We tried most styles of beer they had. The dark beers were the best of the styles. The IPA drinkers deemed their beers tasty too. The service was very good. The bathrooms were clean. The establishment was nice inside. Love the copper covered wood fired oven in the open kitchen. We sat near the front by the open glass wall which was a nice option to being outside. read more

Sadly had a very bad experience. Ordered mules that were undrinkable. They were so gingery! Waitress was nice enough to have them add some soda water but they were still awful. Ordered two pizzas that came out completely black. Had to remake those. When the bill came we were overcharged for the mules we didn't drink. We have eaten here before and it was fine. Was meeting a friend for dinner last week and Westfield is about halfway for both of us. Since I don't live there, I don't know the restaurants well. I was hesitant to go for wood fired pizza because you never know how long it will take and I did want to wait seemingly all night. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly our food came. And it was perfect! We had the farmers market and big island. They had several other menu items other than pizza that sounded delicious but we were both in the mood for pizza. As I said, our food came promptly, was prepared freshly, and the wait staff was fun and pleasant as it probably took us longer to decide on what we wanted to order than it did for them to cook it. The atmosphere is great, but I would say kinda bright- maybe not first date material but third, forth, or anything else. Price point, definately reasonable. We did not realize until we were ready to leave that there was a full bar downstairs. I look forward to returning to check that out. read more

Heard nothing but good from our friends, drove an hour to get here. We were greeted by the rudest waitress I have ever met. "THE WAIT IS OVER A HOUR SO I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO DO" ok guess we will leave......45 min to an hour wait on A Friday what ever no big deal, but that snob of hostess/waitress and no option to wait at the bar or take our number to call or text us when the table was ready caused us to never ever think about coming back good luck! read more

Pros: chipotle baked beans, burger Cons: Cole slaw, nachos, wait time. We got there and it took 10 minutes before we had water. After we ordered, it took about 55 minutes to get our food even though it wasn't packed. I think it has the opportunity to be Good, but it isn't there currently. They were also out of some of their beers. With numerous people working, it felt like they should have had food out quicker, especially since we did not order any of their pizza. Happy that another unique restaurant came to the area. However, they need more time to work issues out. The service was not good. The staff seem poorly trained. Our waitress was disorganized, did not know the menu items, forgot my child's order, forgot several items that came with our selections and was "lost" many times throughout our service when we needed things like water or more napkins. The menu looks awesome but the food was not as good as it looked. The description of the "Whole Hog Sandwich" on the menu is mouth watering, the actual sandwich was dry and overcooked. The reuben was good but not great. The steak sandwich was okay, but would have benefitted if the bread would have been grilled on each side. The pizza we felt was done early and sat around before being served, the jalapenos were put on after the pizza was cooked, kind of like arugula is on a pizza, but they should have been put on before and with the rind and seeds for heat. No milk for kids. The establishment would also benefit with some sound deadening and more fans to cool the customers. I hope to update this one day and give them five stars when they deserve it. It is early in there life and hope they take this as constructive criticism and work the kinks out. read more

BEST pizza in town fired at 720F in copper oven. French onion sandwich extremely gourmet. Love the subtle smokiness from the smoked Gouda. The delicate horseradish condiment was not overwhelming. Last visit update: I'm really hoping that the owners have finally worked out all the hours & service kinks. Westfield has a limited number of offerings, and I think this is potentially one of the best for casual food. The atmosphere is very pleasant, especially on a pleasant day, with open walls to Rte 394, lots of daylight, open eating area downstairs and out back. Food is routinely delicious and offered at reasonable prices. This time we had very little wait for a table, even though they had a stream of customers, and table service was on par. I'll give them a try whenever I'm in the area, as they have a great product. Keeping my fingers crossed that hours, service, and offerings stay predictable & favorable. If so it'll become my go-to in this corner of Chautauqua County. read more

Great little place... we stopped in for a quick dinner. Pizza was fantastic. My son ordered a burger and he loved it. My wife has found her new go to for pizza. Definitely different than most places but service was great and food was wonderful. It wasn't too busy the night we stopped but I could see how it could fill up quickly. They did a great job getting us our food quickly and safely despite pandemic restrictions. The mushroom/swiss burger was absolutely delicious, like one of the best I'd had in awhile, and that was in a delivery order--i.e. not served to the table, after sitting in a car for a little, etc. And I thought their dark belgian ale, brewed in house, was really good. The pizza was a bit too heavy on the cheese and the crust was on the soggy side, so I wouldn't get that again. But the burger & the service were excellent. Thanks again. read more

If you want to feel like an inconvenience to them as a patron, have long wait times (50-55 minutes after ordering) and then receive food that was practically inedible for an inflated price for the area; then try this restaurant. It is sad, as they could do so well as a dining option in Westfield if they seemed to care or even tried. This was not our first experience, yet thought it was a one-off. Surprise! Not at all what I expected for a wood fire pizza joint. Specials were upscale and appetizing, not over priced. Lobster bisque was very good. Shared a traditional calzone, was homemade, not over stuffed, very nice crust. Atmosphere is hard to describe, intimate, yet casual and modern contemporary industrial.
