My latest visit after being a 30 year customer will by my family's last. The pizza was so under cooked that the center was rubbery dough. we even tried to cook it more in the oven but all we got was a hard burnt crust. The following week while placing another order to give it another try I spoke to the owner Randy and he pretty much called me a liar and that the pizza should be doughy and that he would cook it twice but it will be burnt. I wasn't asking for anything free but just to let them know what had happened . Garbage pizza the place was extremely busy I called my pizza in was told 45 min for pickup ok fine I get there 45 minutes later and was told my order was not ready ok so I wait another 45 minutes for this pizza im sure they didn't put my order in I'm from NC so I'm expecting NY pizza but no it was more like grocery store pizza with the thickest dough ever and I've never seen Italian sausage that look like rabbit droppings gross I can't believe the business they get. There are many great places to get pizza and/or wings in Jamestown... For pizza, Lena's is the best. For wings, they may not be #1, but they're top 3 and close enough to #1 more than satisfy. They have a very small menu--one of those places that focused on perfecting a handful of things vs mediocre-ing a variety of things. All their pizzas are delicious--the basic pepperoni, the white pizza, the chicken wing pizza... Don't sleep on their chicken fingers either, they're sneaky INCREDIBLE. So why 4 stars instead of 5? A few fairly minor inconveniences: 1) They don't deliver, nor are they available on any delivery apps. 2) You can only order in person or by phone--and they only have one phone line, which is often busy from all the other people trying to order their pizza. I once had to call 17 times in a row before I got someone on the phone--that's not an exaggeration. The silver lining here is they're clearly in demand. Everyone in town knows they're the best, so it's a rat race to get your order in. 3) The staff is often a little grumpy. I chalk it up to them being so busy. When you go in there, you'll see them all racing around, multi-tasking, trying to keep up with all the orders. I don't entirely blame them for seeming a little on the grouchy side, but I have to list it here as one of the inconveniences contributing to their missing star. All that said, Lena's is worth the minor hassle those few inconveniences present. The food really is that good. read more

Lena On Me, When you're not strong, I'll eat your pizza, It will be gone before long Lena On Me I tried this slice on two separate occasions and I have yet to see what the fuss is all about. The first time it was lukewarm and tasted too sweet (Lockport, anyone). The second time it was properly warmed up, still sweet, and a little bland. It's like a Buffalo slice but not quite as good. I'll give it a third try since it's been a little while and see if I'm missing something. Maybe I can get something other than a cheese and pepperoni this next time because it really didn't do it for me, and yet the ratings for this place are so good. If you like doughy pizza, this ones for you. Lenas is a townie favorite but most people from outside the area don't seem to know why. The pizza is quite good and I really enjoy the crust. Their sauce is a little on the sweeter side as many places in WNY are. Their wings are pretty good though. Ask them to cook them a little longer to make them extra crispy! So there's a meat shortage currently and many restaurants have increased wing prices to ridiculous levels...Lena's prices were elevated above those on their website, but overall were far less elevated than their competitors '. One of their competitors wanted $59.95 for 50 wings but at Lena's I got 40 wings for $36. Meanwhile, their wings truly were jumbo wings, as described on their website, and tasty too. They were ready when promised for pickup, and my relatives praised the taste. We got mild, garlic parm, and honey mustard and they were all a hit. read more

Not as good as it used to be, but it's still pretty good! They don't deliver and they're only open after 4PM, but Lena's still has some of the best non-chain pizza in Jamestown. A nice thick crust, perfect sauce and generous toppings. Fair prices and usually there isn't a long wait to pick up your order. I grew up with Lena's pizza. This is not Lena's, I don't know what it was exactly. A big half cooked blob of dough with a little cheese on it. Ordered the white garlic pizza. I don't think there was any garlic on it at all. And half cooked veggies. I was very disappointed. The Lena's I used to get as a kid was amazing. Your crust is too thick, Lena's. read more

Been away from Jamestown for about 11 years. My god what has this town become? I can say without a doubt you have no shortage of pizza places. Enough of that on to probably the best pizza this lost city has to offer. When you live in New York and eat pizza here it just is not the same in other states claiming to be ny style pizza. I love the sweet style sauce and bubble crust. Other pizza I eat affects me with heart burn and acid reflux for some reason or another. The wings are also amazingly good and even taste great reheated in the oven. My aunt got me hooked on my last trip back to nys and now other pizza disgust me. As an avid and well known pizza conesuer in the area (im pretty well known at all pizza places in the area) i have to give Lenas on of the highest reviews (as well as my 1st on Yelp) as i have been a long time patron of this establishment..i also had a large pepperoni and cheese pizza for dinner tonight from there. The food is always excellent and the price is very fair for the quality. The staff are young hard working men who are dillegent and professional. The only grievance i can possibly concieve is that they could deffinately use a secondary phone line as it is very difficult to get thru on a busy night. It took me 18 attempts before i got a ring rather than a busy signal, however, although it is a bit frustraiting when you just want to place an order and be done with it, it does speak volumes as to how good thier business is doing if the phone is always busy. They do not offer delivery, so you will have to pick it up but it is well worth the drive and small hassle of getting thru to place an order because the reward of that delicious pizza is, in my opinion, unrivaled in chautauqua county. read more

The only place we get pizza and wings. Not only do they have the best prices but the food quality beats any other local (or otherwise) establishment. Order from here almost every Friday night because it always sounds good! The service is wonderful and always efficient. Sometimes the wait can be upwards of 45 minutes to an hour on a busy night but trust me they couldn't get it out any faster than that and it's well worth it. Average wait is about 30 minutes. They don't offer delivery which matters nothing to us because it's worth the drive even in the worst weather. Seating is very limited inside (a few booths) as they mostly do pick up orders. I don't understand what everyone likes so much. To me it's imitation perfect pizza with borderline raw dough in the middle and borderline if not actually raw wings. When you get a big drum stick wing from them I suggest looking inside before eating it. 2 of mine were pink and smelled raw. I think when they get busy they cut cook times to get thing out faster. Definitely the best pizza around jamestown! I used to live out in the country, but would pick up Lenas to bring home because it was better than any other pizza around. The dough is classic buffalo-style "fluffy" dough and the sauce is great! Prices are average. The staff is always polite and get the orders in and cooked fast. read more
