The former owner of the mall where Napoli is located seemed to be determined to empty the place out. Maybe he wanted to convert it to condos or something. But somehow, no matter how bad things got in the mall, Napoli Pizza stuck it out. Possibly because their business didn't depend on walk-in traffic. I have learned that, most of the time, you're going to get better pizza at an independent place like Napoli than at any of the chains. That's certainly true in Warren: Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's, and Domino's all kind of phone it in. Napoli does it right. (That doesn't necessarily mean that every independent pizza joint is going to be good. It helps to have local informants.) I can also attest that their chicken salad is very nice, since pizza is off my menu, what with being diabetic and all. read more

I've been eating Napoli pizza since I was a kid and it was next to Aladdin's Castle in the Warren Mall. I always remembered they had fast service and a great hand-tossed pizza. I hadn't been here in years and ordered for pickup one night. We ordered a few pizzas and some mozzarella sticks. We had to wait a little bit longer than usual, but it looked pretty busy inside with phone orders. The pizzas came out of the oven fresh and the mozzarella sticks were nice and crispy. The pizza was good, but the crust was a little more doughy and softer than I like. I am a huge fan of the NY style hand-tossed and I have been spoiled by a lot of authentic pizza shops. Overall, we had a good experience here. The pizza was fresh and tasty and the service was friendly. It's a little bit of a drive from Pleasant Twp, but it's worth it. read more

We asked for a single large pizza for delivery and after an hour, I called to see if it was on its way. They said it was 10 min away and after 30 min, we called again. We live 5 minutes away but couldn't leave the house which is why we wanted it delivered. The man on the phone was very vague about the time it would be delivered, and kept saying it as on the way. We didn't believe them since it's already been 30 minutes and the guy said "you should have just picked it up then" since we live close. It was very insensitive, and rude. Customer service shouldn't even have a single star. read more

If you're looking for great thin crust pizza or an amazing Stromboli, this place is the best in the area. I actually give the food 5 stars. The only reason for a lower rating is the restaurant itself is very out dated and a bit on the dirty side. The food however is well worth the the experience. I was nearby and had time to kill and was hungry. So I ended up at this place. I ordered at the counter and paid under ten bucks. Meatball marinara sandwich with cheese was out in under ten minutes. And it came with a small bag of chips. Toasted roll with a generous amount of cheese and good sized homemade (!) meatballs that were sliced in half. It was worth the stop. read more

Very good pizza. Delivery times are good also. I love the crust. The sauce is a little on the sweet side for me but my husband loves it. Definitely one of our go to pizza places in town. Probably my favorite, go-to pizza joint in town. Pizza is always good, very consistent quality. I like, but don't love, their chicken wings. Sauces change a lot, and the consistency shifts... but all-around pretty good. Great stromboli (gigantic, btw) and calzones. read more

Not the best experience for my first time. Service wasn't amazing but wasn't horrible either. I couldn't really hear the guy taking my order. The food was average. I almost always get a chicken parmesan sub when I go to Italian restaurants, and of course I got one here. Definitely not the best I've ever had and it made me feel kinda sick afterwards. Could just be me though, because my friend got the same sub and loved his. My boyfriend ordered wings and said, like I said about my sub, not the best but also not the worst. If we ever end up in Warren again, I would stop by and give it another chance. read more

Food Is usually pretty good. Prices are reasonable. A lot of people love their thin crust pizza. Restaurant is very outdated and dirty.

On a spur of the moment trip to Warren, we decided to get a takeout pizza. It was probably the best crust on a pizza that I've ever had. My only reason for 4 stars is, I would've liked to see a bit more pepperoni on it. The staff was very friendly and I love that it's not new and fancy. It makes you homey and comfortable. The past three times I have ordered delivery from this place have been a disaster. First time was simply a bad delivery person, when I complained management refused to do anything about it. It was well over a year before I ordered again. Second offense was last week. I ordered their subs, and requested they were toasted. They were delivered untoasted, and had brown tomatoes I had to pick off. No biggie, someone was having a bad day. Third and final offense... I had friends from out of town at my house. They wanted to order pizza, and were familiar with how Napoli used to taste and be run. Ok, we should have put up a fight but we agreed to order from them... When we called whoever took our order kept talking to someone in the background, and then never bothered to repeat our order back to us. They came with our food an hour and a half later!! With cold food and missing the cheese pizza we ordered for the kids... They refused to comp the pizza (we were never charged for the cheese because he never heard we wanted it, because he's a chatty Cathy). He said it was a misunderstanding not a mistake. So we are out money for the crappy quality cold food they sent us and the 4 children waiting to eat had to wait even longer for us to run out and grab a pizza from somewhere else. Someone at Napoli needs to take a basic customer service class. I will NEVER be ordering from this place again. Also if you eat in, the restaurant itself is FILTHY. Do yourself a favor and get a better product from New York Style Deli. read more
