My wife and I stopped here on a Friday night to get takeout to bring back to our place. Heads up that Bobs is cash only. Our thought was to get the loaded potato pizza and the Stromboli so that we could have two meals for our weekend stay. When we got home and started eating we quickly figured out two things. One the food was excellent and two the food was going to last us much more than two meals! Starting with number one: the pizza itself was unique, cheesey, had a good portion of potatoes under the cheese, bacon, and had a nice helping of sour cream dipping sauces that paired really well with the pizza. The Stromboli was really good as well. It was a giant portion with some really savory meats and dressing in the middle. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area! Bob's has been around forever, and it still impresses me. Their pizza (especially the crust) ranks among the best anywhere, and the service is always great. We went on 03-29-25 for dinner. One young man worked as a server alone in a packed dining room, and did an excellent top notch job. The whole staff looked like young teens, and were all courteous and impressive. My husband and I came here based on a recommendation from one of my patients. I knew we would be driving right past it so we placed a take out order to take it to our getaway place in Rixford. Based on my patient's experience, she suggested trying the Loaded Potato Pizza. So we orderd a small along with a Stromboli. When I opened the boxes I could not believe how incredible the food looked! The pizza looked exactly like loaded mashed potatoes on a crust - a flavorful garlicky sauce against the crust, then layered with the mashed potatoes, cheese, and bacon. It was honestly one of the best specialty pizza's I have had. It was even amazing warmed up on the second and third day (yes, it was so filling it lasted that long) which says a lot as I do not like day old (or 2) pizza. The stromboli was one of the largest I've seen and it had ingredients from end to end, eliminating the doughy ends we often see in strombolis. It had a really nice amount of meat, cheese, and fresh components such as tomato, onion and lettuce. Based on the outside of this restaurant, we would have never stopped unless it was recommended. The old saying, "don't judge a book by its cover" proves to be incredibly true. They also served a lot of flavors of Hershey's ice cream which our pups were able to enjoy. Overall this was fabulous recommendation by my patient. If we ever find ourselves on this part of Route 6 going through Kane in the future, we will be sure to stop in again! read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would! The pizza's and loaded cheese/bacon fries were all exceptional. Generous amounts of top quality cheese. Every bite of the loaded fries had cheese and bacon. This is for the pizza. Had the lasagna pizza. It weighed a ton! It had ricotta, meatball, cheeses, sauce and seasoning. The crust was delicious. My family owns the brown camp with the chain link fence across the street from the trading post. We love going there for breakfast, lunch and dinner! If you live around here, then you are familiar with Bob's. If you're not, then this place is worth the effort to find. It's nothing special to look at, but the food is relatively inexpensive, more than plentiful, and it tastes great. Some of the best pizza we've ever had! Soooo many different kinds and toppings. Yes, we did try the 'mashed potato' pizza and we wouldn't hesitate getting it again! If you're not a pizza person don't worry, they have plenty of burgers, salads, and many other items on their menu. We sat outside at one of the numerous picnic tables they have under their patio roof with our dog. They will come out, take your order, and bring you your food.
