I had called around looking for a pizza place that took cash on delivery, and no one local would as far as I could see. But I called Pizza Express, and not only did they take cash, but they said they don't typically deliver before 4pm but because they had enough staff to spare, they delivered anyways (I ordered around noon). And now only that, but the man who answered was working out the best deal for me over phone to ensure I got the best price. Not only was the service excellent and delivery even faster than expected, the wings were a great size and had good flavor (i think their honey mustard sauce is homemade? It was really good) and the pizza was that classic thick, chewy WNY crust. So so good. I had the personal Classic White pizza. It was great. They use the cornmeal crust (I think that's what it is) which I love. I really enjoyed the pizza and would get it again if I was passing through again. Got nothing else because it was a delivery. Never saw the place. Was like eating cheese on a muffuletta and the cheese and toppings were so greasy and oily the little ducks from the Valdez oil spill would be put to shame and look clean as a whistle in comparison. The delivery guy had as much personality as a rock in the bottom of a muddy pond full of cow shit in west Texas. Definitely would not recommend and the closest thing I can compare this pizza to is if you've ever had those microwaveable digiorno pepperoni pizzas. I have ordered from here for years I order a t least one or more times a month it seems people may be starting to not care I've waited over 1.5 hours for two med pizzas a deep fried mushrooma when I finally get food it's cold and disgusting if I wanted to spend $50 for food that was cold and gross let me add missing stu all the time that you pay for I would go to McDonald's smh I guess I'll have to find someplace else to start supporting that cares about the food they make and give to people it's a shame for sure hopefully they can find people who want to do better read more

Terrible customer service. we always try to go back because they are one of the only places that delivers but it's a nightmare everytime. They told us 30-45 mins an hour after we called we got a call from our driver. He tried to tell us that our house didnt exist. come to find out they sent him to falconer even though I never said we were in falconer. This is my go-to pizza place in Jamestown. The menu is pretty extensive and the pizza is usually really good. I've had the odd less-than-good pizza from here and it usually happens when someone new(er) is working. The regulars are always friendly and happy to serve you, even when they are busy (which is often). The lunchtime personal pizza is a really good deal and just the right amount to satisfy your craving. If you are looking for good subs (that aren't Subway), they do a decent job with those, too. Why does Pizza Express have no reviews? I wish I had taken some pictures. The pizza debate in Jamestown, as I found, was between Lena's and Fresco's. Neither were bad in my opinion but pretty incomparable as they are very different. So I think that debate is more an issue of personal taste. Me personally? My go-to for take out when I lived in Jamestown was Pizza Express. A co-worker turned me onto this place during my quest for a chicken finger sub, which they do a fine job of. But I also preferred their pizza over the other options as well. This is my first time getting food from here. We were in town to visit family for the weekend and got wings from here twice. Very good, and my husband said the best he's had out of all the time we've been here. I got the chicken finger sub, we don't get these in NC. It was great that they deliver to the hotel we were at. Most times we stay in Dunkirk or Fredonia but if we stay in Jamestown again we will get food from them and I recommend you do the same. read more

There are better pizza places in the area for less money but Pizza Express delivers. First and last time we got delivery from them though, it was well over 1.5 hours before they finally made it to our house (2 miles away). The food here is really good and I order delivery quite often. However, when you call the place several times and hear "can you please hold?" every time it gets annoying. Especially when they don't come back to the phone to take your order. So then, your left on hold and after waiting 10 minutes, obviously your gonna hang up. Could not be more disappointed.... Made the conscious decision to patronize a LOCAL business instead of the "chain" in town. Went to Washington Street location and ordered dinner for my family, and then drove home. After we had started eating our order, we realized that two of the three items we ordered were prepared incorrectly. We immediately called the location back to see what would / could be done to rectify the situation. We were told to "bring back" uneaten portion, (drive back after getting home?) which we decided NOT to do. I asked to have someone please call me back, and then myself called back 4 times, FINALLY after the fourth call I received a call back. Was made to feel like I had done something wrong,... by person who called,.. "People trying to get free food, or trying to get second meal at no charge." I absolutely want to get some type of compensation back, but after the conversation I realized that that would not happen. I would also mention that the telephone and customer skills by employees were poor, the staff was not following proper safety measures, and / or the poor training they must have had. LOVE their food but have one issue. I don't know how they order their ingredients but apparently they don't order enough. We order from them every Friday evening and for the last month have not been able to get a Cuban because "we are out of pork" plus it's been 3 weeks since anchovies have been available. If you can't get the items you need, you might want to reconsider your menu. However, with such GREAT choices on the menu, we will continue to order from them! And if you haven't tried them, DO!
