My friends and I came here for a quick bite but it was anything but quick. There were a few tables that were leaving as we walked in with one table who was already seated. 30 minutes after we ordered the waitress comes back and asks how we were doing. I was confused as it's been a while and we haven't received our food. Like what do you mean how are we doing? She also didn't mention anything about our food coming. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. 20 minutes after that and she asked us if we needed silverware. I was even more confused as we ordered 3 subs, 2 sets of wings, and a quesadilla. Only one thing on the menu required silverware and that was salads which none of us ordered. Our food took 53 minutes. The waitress never offered an explanation as to what happened. She said the kitchen was slammed but not once did I see anyone come in to pick up takeout. Two tables came in after us around 8pm and received their food before ours. Honesty is the best policy here. Surprisingly, this was my first time here despite living just several miles down the road. The Bear Brick was definitely a pleasant surprise. Sure, it was a bit noisy due to their pool league being held Thursday nights, but it was still a pleasant and clean establishment. 'Wing night' was the theme, and it did not disappoint. My wife and I tried the Cajun and Garlic Parmesan wings. Both were cooked crisp and with the right amount of seasoning. Also had fried cheese curds and pretzel sticks for an appetizer which were both good. The service by our waitress was fantastic. A nice little stop, especially for lunch I'd say. read more

This completely changed my view after my first experience many years ago not being the best, now they are 100% redeemed IMHO! Food quality and service have gone WAY up. We loved them and I think my 1 bad experience was just a fluke! The lady running it herself even rearranged seating for us all to sit together which was so kind of her. Totally different experience than before. Our 9 orders were completely accurate, our 9 drinks were kept full, and we only had a 22 minute wait on our 9 meals which is not bad at all considering they had 9 of us, another birthday party, a full bar, and other people dining. Everyone except 1 person absolutely LOVED their meal and can't wait to go back. My niece said her sandwich was soggy, but had great flavor so she'll just get a burger next time instead. 1/2 Italian sub: 10/10 amazing fresh roll, fresh produce, and great portion of meat. 3 Chicken finger baskets with fries: 9.5/10 these were great! The tenders weren't soggy or dry and the fries were great! Great meat flavor and texture! We'll just remember to order them saucier next time. Amazing thick ranch and sauces! 2 country sandwiches: 8/10 my niece and brother liked the flavor, they just said the produce made it very messy(juices were squashing out onto the plate every bite) soggy half way through so they'll order it with just onion straws next time or go with a burger instead. Steakhouse burger: 10/10 absolute perfection! Mushroom melt burger: 10/10 absolute perfection! When I got this years ago it was a dry crisp hockey puck with no flavor, my dad gave me a bite of his and this one was so juicy and flavorful. I'm getting that again now! Perfect amount of mushrooms and cheese! Delicious! Garbage burger: 10/10 absolute perfection! Great flavors! Everyone left happy and will be back! I have only been there once. I phoned in an order for two pizzas and some appetizers. I arrived for pick up when it was supposed to be done, to find out that they were out of the appetizers that I ordered and paid for over the phone. So, I had to wait another 20 minutes to get my order. Then, when the cook brought it out and thanked me, I just looked at him... there was only one pizza there. My grandkids had now been waiting over an hour for the pizza that I ordered and paid for 90 minutes before. The cook then proceeded to argue with me, that the order was for one pizza and appetizers. For over $50???!!! I showed him my original order, and he stormed off swearing. Another half hour wait. When I complained about the wait I was told there's other orders ahead of mine. I said "really??!! There's other orders that were placed TWO HOURS AGO that are ahead of mine????!!! I got my money back. I waited far too long to get nothing. read more

After being a regular parton for many years my family and I will not be back. We loved to visit on wing night until last week. The waitress was anything but pleasant or helpful. We had a small complaint about one of our orders of wings. The waitress got super defensive with a big additude and didn't offer us anything to try and fix the small complaint. We chose to just let it go and share what we ordered with each other. Then the bill came and we were charged full price for the wings we didn't eat because they were to hot and we were taking them home. When my mother takes the bill to the bartender to complain about the extra charge the bartender yells at my mother making a scene. We pay the bill with extra charges and zero tip. My mother calls to speak with the owner the next day and the owner doesn't care to make this situation any better but if my mother wanted to make a big deal about it THEN the owner would refund my mother the extra charge. Not sure what happened to the great customer service they used to have but we won't be back to find out. read more

Food is excellent. Service even better. I stopped in and almost all the tables were full as well as the bar with only one gal waiting tables and tending bar. Came to find out her name was Meghan. Wow. What an efficient employee. No one waited for a thing. Its been a long time since I've seen someone in the service industry juggle all of that and make it look easy. Must be a valued employee. So the atmosphere very industrial (cool) our waitress was very funny and good. The drinks were made perfectly, and the recommendation of the daily special was delivered perfectly however the beef on weck wasn't that great. The flavor was okay, the bun was awesome but the beef wasn't even cut properly. The horseradish was week, I could eat by the spoonful. I do recommend them if passing by or need to cool off their A/C is nice and cold. Don't hesitate to try them out because who knows maybe they bad bad day in the beef department. read more

We just moved to Little Valley and asked about the Local restaurants. And we were told to try the Bear Brick. We ordered pepperoni pizza for take out. The pizza was delicious and have ordered from them two times since. We have ordered hot wings and those were good. No real complaints; great friendly service and food was hot when picked up. read more

This bar has some employees that are in SERIOUS need of customer service training. We asked for a to-go Diet Coke for our dinners and we're very rudely told by someone drinking at the bar we weren't allowed to. We later called back to alert the staff that our food was not cooked to order. Rather than try to make things right, instead an unidentified gentleman on the phone became increasingly aggressive and argumentative, going so far as to swear at us numerous times over the phone. Later the proprietors decided to take to Facebook to trash our family due to this being a small town. I wouldn't step foot in this fly by night bar again if it were the last place on earth to get nourishment. I would highly recommend one of the other more established local businesses for anyone looking for a good food and drinks atmosphere. read more

There were only 6 other people there.... but the bartenders were nice once they started waiting on us.... Had lots of fun at the Bear Brick. The owner was behind the bar, and was very friendly and attentive. The menu is typical bar food, but tasty, and served quickly. Met many nice people, staff and customers, with whom we had great conversations about the history of the surrounding area. I will definitely return whenever I am in the area. read more
