Came for drinks and sat at the bar - great service and view of the lake. Ended up getting the loaded tater tots and they were delish!

The ambiance of this place is awesome. The entire patio overlooks the lake. Absolutely gorgeous. The beer was good. Good was fine. Good service. Check this place out when coming to Lake Chautauqua !

Cherry apple code. Brie plate and fried chicken macaroni and cheese. I came close to giving at five stars. But the macaroni and cheese the sauce had broken and it was really grainy. Drinks were good. Service was fantastic.

Shrimp roll sandwich

Went to Ellcottville Brewing for dinner this evening view was beautiful but, I was very dissatisfied with my dinner had the Maine Shrimp roll on the menu stated Gulf Shrimp the shrimp canned no type of dressing the waiter told me they were large shrimp they cut up very disappointing. I did ask for some ranch dressing so I could eat some of it.

The restaurant is very nice and open inside. I got the blueberry beer which is very tasty! Then I tried the blood orange beer, it was good but the blueberry was better. Then I ordered the fountain cheese burger that came with fried pickles but also got a side of the raisin coleslaw. The burger was really good and hearty, have to eat it with a fork and knife though. The pickle spears had a bit of a kick but wasn't bad at all. The coleslaw with golden raisins was really good. Unfortunately the waitress would just disappear and didn't really check on us which was a bit of a downfall. Overall it was good.

Beef 9n weck with quinoa salad

Great Location - They do have parking also, but because we came when they had fireworks, parking was crazy. We parked a few blocks away and it wasn't too bad. We expected to wait since there were people everywhere, but since we chose to eat indoors, we were seated right away. Our server took our order right away, but it was a little slow on the drinks and the food. But that was expected with the Holiday. We sat near the bar and the bartenders worked for their money today. Food was awesome. My hubby had a burger and I had beef on weck. I could have split the beek on weck with 3 people - lots of beef. My husband's burger was huge as well. Our drinks were really good and full of flavor. Peach sangria was so good. Hubbys old fashion was good, 2nd one was even better. We also had appetizers and dessert. Taters tots are a must. So good to share. We had the bourbon cake sans the nutella due to allergies, but still very good. View from the inside awesome. Great place, employees and vibes

Pulled pork with tots

Food was good and the view of Lake Chautauqua is beautiful. My pull pork was delicious and with generous amount on the sandwich. The brie was cold but we asked them to warm it (as it should be spreadable). The beer is the draw to this place. Strawberry Crunch? Yes indeed. Get you some! Great family place with plenty of seating. Parking available. Service with a smile, helpful and fast. The prices for food are $$-$$$ so prepare for that.

Updating my review as we visited again a few years later. We stopped for lunch yesterday and it was very good. We were immediately seated despite the fact that we arrived during prime lunch hours. I ordered the pulled pork, my hubby the fried chicken sandwich and my daughter ordered the chicken tenders. I also tried the blood orange hefeweizen. Everything was great and our waitress was so friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean for the amount of people coming in and out. We sat on the front patio. You really can't beat the view and the weather was just perfect. I'm sure we will be back when we are in town next!

Now, I have had a good experience before and this may be my fault. But they need more drink and less ice. But otherwise the scenery is lovely and the service is great.

Cyprus salad + chicken

This is a cool restaurant in Bemus, right off of Chautauqua Lake. The service was a little slow to begin with, but our server apologized and made up for it by comping our drinks! The food was not AMAZING, but definitely not bad. My husband had the fish tacos with a side salad which I thought was pretty good! The tacos could've used a little more spice, but they weren't bad! Our friend had a hamburger and said it was fine, just a little dry. I ordered the Cyprus Salad with grilled chicken. Pretty good, but it needed a little more of a dressing, perhaps a zesty Greek vinaigrette would've been good with it! The chicken was a little dry, but not bad. For drinks, I had the skinny Razz Matazz. So yum!! It's pretty much a raspberry vodka lemonade, but I really enjoyed it. Overall, a decent experience in this small town!

Cheers to Bemus!

This brewery is new to Bemus Point and it is amazing! The food, drink, ambience and view is nearly impossible to beat. For anyone who has busted this area for years, it's the old "Surfside" restraint/bar tuned into a rustic/ modern work of art while keeping the beautiful Bemus old town feel on the corner of our 1 blinking light. Coming from the Bemus family makes me proud to still visit and see the charm remains. Blood orange beer- awesome! Grilled chicken caprese perfect to split if you are not super hungry.

Loved the peach beer myself (just the one) and my spouse enjoy his 3 ipa's. Met good patrons, which always tells me about a place. Pickle pizza hit the spot! And to make it 100% id suggest adding Sriracha or ranch drizzle? It needed just one *something.* but also totally brilliant without.

We had been…read morelooking for a brewery in Erie to visit after the Erie Marathon whenever Lavery Brewing popped up on Yelp. This place is large and has both outdoor seating on the side as well as plenty of indoor seating. The inside looked like a mix of cozy and industrial, with a long wooden bar stretching the length of the room, warm pendant lights hanging overhead, colorful beer boards on the wall, and shelves lined with bottles and glassware behind the bar. It had a relaxed but lively feel to it. After looking around to figure out where we wanted to sit, we ultimately chose the bar. For lunch on this day I chose to go with the pimento smash deluxxxe while my wife went with the pesto pizza. The menu described my meal as two smash patties, bacon, American cheese, pimento cheese, and onion rings on a brioche bun while my wife's was described as parsley basil pesto, triple cheese blend, fire roasted tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. I thought that the burger here was delicious as the patties were seasoned nicely and I appreciated the onion rings. While there was plenty of cheese and it was flavorful, I almost could have used more of the pimento. Then my wife liked her pizza here especially the pesto combined with the fire roasted tomatoes. Then for drinks, as I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Lavery Brewing, a flight consists of 6 beers and I chose the Active Recovery, Seeking Clarity, Lime n Cuke, Throwing Tropical Shade, Sound Mild, and Divine Intervention for my flight. I first started with the Active Recovery which was light and hoppy and very drinkable. Up second was the Seeking Clarity which had a clean start before a heavy dose of hops in the middle which surprisingly didn't linger. Third was the Lime n Cuke which has a strong cucumber smell and the drink itself is dry like most goses with a mild lime and stronger cucumber flavor. Fourth was Throwing Tropical Shade and you could really taste the orange and other tropical flavors with a finish flavor of coconut. For me this was a really delicious beer. Up fifth was the Sound Mild which was light but you got the nice flavor of those toasted malts at the finish. Last but certainly not least was the Divine Intervention which had a strong coconut flavor on the finish. Out of the bunch my favorite ended up being the Throwing Tropical Shade. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed the beverages and the food and we left both happy and stuffed.

Let me preface this by saying I've about had it with the so-called breweries popping up everywhere,…read moreeach one seemingly more committed to clichés than the last. You know the drill: no table service, order at the bar using a kiosk or an iPad, which makes you feel less like a customer and more like a data entry clerk. And don't even get me started on the servers who act like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. Then there are the long lines to order your drinks and food, which completely destroy any semblance of a pleasant customer experience. Waiting in a queue that resembles a theme park line just to get a drink ruins the whole vibe (this is an ABSOLUTE dealbreaker for us). Oh, and let's not forget the chaotic atmosphere--kids running amok, dogs, and live bands cranking out tunes that make it impossible to hold a conversation. It's a sensory overload that just isn't my cup of tea. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let's get to the beer. We ordered a flight, which is the trendy way to say "sampler," and I must admit, one or two out of the six beers were decent--particularly the hazy IPA, which was a bright spot in an otherwise dull lineup. Most of the other brews were solid but forgettable, a far cry from the unique, crafted experiences that breweries claim to provide. Overall, we did enjoy the beer! As for the food, it was a parade of disappointment. We tried the garlic and Parmesan wings, shrimp tacos, and, of course, the infamous Bent burger. Ah, the Bent burger--a prime example of how a simple, delicious hamburger can be completely ruined by a slew of unnecessary toppings. Instead of sticking to the classic approach of a juicy patty, they decided to throw on pork, a fried egg, and a medley of other ingredients that clashed rather than complemented each other. It was a chaotic mishmash of flavors that worked against itself, leaving me wondering why anyone thought this was a good idea. Gimmicks like that are rarely a recipe for success in my experience. The tacos and wings? Equally lackluster. The wings were bland, devoid of any real flavor punch despite the garlic and Parmesan claims, and the tacos were so underwhelming they could have been served at a school cafeteria. In summary, Bent Run Brewery is just another cog in the wheel of craft beer clichés, serving up a loud atmosphere, long lines, and gimmicky food that fails to impress. If you're looking for a genuine experience with great beer and simple, tasty food, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. If you are able to "plug in" to this nonsense, then it's worth a try.
