It was time to bring in the pros Samantha and her husband Ed. The pool was thoroughly investigated via sonar and dye testing and they found the culprit-my other pool light!! Ed repaired it as well as my other messy pool light fix with a neat and patient application of a special epoxy. I performed the bucket test again and my leak is gone! I booked them to come to open my pool right after I closed last fall. I was in contact with them as they had replaced the liner right before closing the pool. I was quoted a price of $265 to open the pool and I was ASSURED I would be showed how to use the equipment and the pool "would be beautiful". They came yesterday and "opening" the pool consisted of taking the cover off throwing in shock and algeacite turning on the motor and leaving. NO CLEANING of the pool or the equipment was done. When I told him I was a first time pool owner and asked questions, the service man told me he was alloted 20 minutes for the service call and had no time to show me anything or answer my questions. He told me they do not "clean" pools or the equipment, that was my responsibility? He then handed me a bill for $300. I called the office quite upset as I have no pool company other than them and I have no idea how to clean a pool much less the equipment. I was told they have only one person that "cleans" pools and he is booked solid for the season. I explained I booked my appointent LAST SEPTEMBER and at that time they knew I was the new owner of the property and needed full service. I also advised her the price I was quoted by Michelle was $265 not $300. She was very nasty and told me they don't clean pools and they had "opened" the pool. I again reiterated I was a new owner and had no idea how to maintain a pool. She became very irritated with me and told me to tear up their bill and "go your way and we will go our way". She then hung up on me. I called multiple pool companies trying to schedule service and AS EXPECTED they are all booked for the summer. The search for a pool company continues... Thanks Holiday Pools for the mess you left me. If I knew what you consider a pool "opening" I would have found another company last September and not depended on Holiday Pools. I was referred to this company last year 2024 for a liner install. After the installation I discovered lumps in the bottom of my pool. There was also something sharp sticking out from the bottom of the pool. When they installed the liner they did not apply sand. My pool is over 15 years old. They dug around my pool, made a mess of the dirt and the rocks around my pool and said I had to put it all back and clean it up. I called the company with my complaints about the lumps and the object sticking up from the liner. After some time someone came out to inspect. They took care of the object in the pool. I asked about the lumps in the pool and was told it was the straps, and they would let the office know. I called the office and was told what would have to be done and advised to wait till before closing the pool. I was told it would take at least two days to drain my pool. I explained to Maria that I didn't have what was needed to drain my pool and she said that someone would drop off a stronger pump to drain my pool. NEVER HAPPENED! I called several times after, left messages, and NOTHING! I closed my pool! Opened it this year 2025 and still no results. My pool was still not retaining water. I called and someone finally once again came out and claimed I didn't have the sand filter cap on tight. Pool still was draining water after that. I called the pool company that referred me and was told I had to deal with NJJ. Later the company that referred me to NJJ Pools, after continuing to complain, told me that I need to detect if there was any leaks. And referred me to another company. At that point I didn't feel like I should have spent anymore money. I had no issues with leaks or lumps in my pool before NJJ Pools worked on my pool. I called the owner of the company who referred me to NJJ Pools and explained the entire situation and he did his due diligence to help me. The results were there were no holes in the liner. The discovery was that the water was draining from the skimmer and return. I went to another company to have a new one installed and was told nothing was wrong with the old skimmer and return valve. There were no cracks or holes in the old skimmer or return valve. There was no evidence of water drainage outside of my pool. So the water had to be draining between the wall and liner. I called NJJ and was told the owner stated that my skimmer and return valve issues had nothing to do with the liner and no one was coming out to fix it. Which is not true they had to reattach the skimmer and return valve to the liner after they installed it. I then asked about the lumps in the bottom of my pool and was told, again no one was coming to fix it. I would not recommend this company to anyone, under any circumstances.

Took out standing water (about 6") removed leaves form winter cover, removed winter cover, took off old pool liner (30 x 15) put up wall insulation, installed new skimmer and return, combed sand and remove ruts and rough spots, laid a newly purchased base liner, installed new pool liner and filled 1' of water. Ask for Oswaldo. He was great !!! Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and took his time. Use this place if you need their services. Outstanding!!!!

I met with them during the opening and trusted their professional recommendations. Once I was no longer there supervising, however, it became one additional charge after another. They identified plumbing issues and recommended that I pay to have the plumbing redone. I followed their recommendation and paid the additional cost. Yet the leaks that were part of the reason for addressing the plumbing still weren't resolved, and I was then faced with attempts to charge me even more. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs that are clearly outside a maintenance contract. My problem is paying $3,098 for complete seasonal maintenance, approving additional work they recommended, and still repeatedly being presented with more charges while the underlying issues remain. For anyone considering them, my advice is simple: get every detail in writing and question every additional charge before approving anything. They got me this season. Never again. Stay away.

Our situation was worse then expected and Pool Bros lived up to their reputation walking us through each problem we had. The filter was broken, water was leaking when we tried to add water, parts were missing, and the cover had a hole. From David who told us exactly what we needed to purchase, to Chris the service tech and Dan who called to explain the situation, Pool Bros are miracle workers. Chris was cool calm and collected through the whole pool opening experience, assuring us it was going to be ok and he did, in fact, open the pool despite the multiple obstacles that he encountered. We are very happy!
