As unprofessional as You Can Get. Set up an Appointment to replace a Pool Liner ( A few thousand dollar Job). they show up after a week. When they arrive, I tell them that My son will be right out he was waiting for your Rep., but the pool area is accessible to them I said you can go right to the pool yourself until he comes up . I said Give my son a few minutes to come outside. The Lady ( I think jennifer) asks how old is my Son, I said 25 yo, why is that a question?. My son then calls me & says that no one is there & when I call them to see where their rep. is, Pool World Lady tells me, how do I have the Nerve not to be there & let my 25 YO son be there instead. Are you serious! I said I have to work & I could talk to their Rep. on the Phone instead. They want to set up another Appt. for 2 weeks. Stay Away with Nervy people that do not act professional or Appreciate your business. If I Spoke to my Clients This way, I would be out of a Job. I recently used Pool World for a liner replacement and would highly recommend them for anyone considering pool service. I just bought a house with a pool that needed a liner replacement because the pool hadn't been used or maintained in a long time. We called Pool World and they were extremely professional and promptly came out for an estimate. The price was reasonable and I felt like I could trust them. They did not try to upsell us on things we didn't need and were committed to helping us get our pool up and running. I like that they are a small local business and you feel welcomed when you stop by their location. Within two weeks, the liner arrived and they scheduled the install. As it turns out, our pool had an unexpected issue that was not Pool World's fault and they went above and beyond to help us fix it. I was so impressed by their willingness to support us and turn over every stone to identify and correct the issue. They gave us excellent support and far exceeded my expectations. Dave the Service Manager and the team were great and I'm so happy to have worked with them. We will continue to use Pool World and highly recommend them . read more

Horrible service, made sure they got my credit card number but that was about it. My pool (which they closed for the season) is a disgusting, putrid mess and Pool World claims they did their job. My toilet is cleaner than my pool! Disgusting. read more

Pool World is great! I was in desperate need to either fix my pool/spa heater or (UGH) get a new one for thousands of dollars. Dave serviced the heater, fixed it, explained that, though the heater is old, it was still in good condition and worth fixing. I appreciated that honesty! (They even called to reschedule my appt, EARLIER than I expected and actually came before the Memorial Day holiday, instead of a week later.) I was grateful for that too! Pool world is a top notch company! . We built our pool with them. From the very first meeting with their salesman Ben to get an estimate I knew this was the right company for us. I got a few pool estimates. While other companies came in and out, Ben sat with me for an hour and a half planning out my dream pool. When the project started they were amazing answering all of our questions and letting us know what would be happening every step of the way. It's been almost 3 years since we built and We always use them to open and close. During pool season they are awesome at answering all my questions (and I have a lot) whether it be about chemicals or how to do something. Whoever answers the phone is always friendly and eager to help. Just today I Thought I may be having trouble with my filter because of a notification I kept getting on the app. They were able to send someone out the same day during their busiest time of year. Dave personally came out to check it. It turned out to be nothing and they didn't change me with the service call which I was prepared to be charged for. He also spent time teaching me what to do next time If that same problem arises. I am so glad We chose Pool World To do our pool. I recommend them to everyone whether they are looking to build a pool or just need a great company for there existing pool. read more

Formerly, I was hoping around from company to company to handle all my pool service needs. I would go to one store for supplies and chemical, use a different service for maintenance, openings and closings, and yet a different company for any other pool related needs. This created conflict and blame-shifting with no place being accountable and problems galore arising. In Pool World, I found a company that stands by their promises, keeps to their word, and sticks with you from beginning to end. After dealing with the local Leslie Pools and another major Middletown pool service company for weeks to clear an issue I was having with my pool not clearing, Pool World was able to identify the problem and correct it. They provided excellent service, both with the pool testing technicians at the store and with the technicians who came to my home. I highly recommend them. read more

First of all, tell Matt Thank you for his service. the world is a better place because of good people like him willing to serve. however I am not sure how his veteran status is relevant in this matter other than I'm sure it made you feel real good to type it. you can skew the facts any way you like, the bottom line is i was not refusing to pay for the part(which pool world was charging $60 more for than Add-On Pools), nor was I hassling anyone. I called wanting to know why the kid in my driveway was rude to my wife demanding a service charge. FYI, if you are demanding a service charge, you should know that you can't go on Yelp and call it free labor. And when the office girl, i don't care who's wife it is, was even more rude and obnoxious toward me, is when I told her to get your guys off my property. Thus you didn't finish the job. So your response to my review is just evidence to it's theme that your customer service is terrible. If Pool world had any class or concern for customer service, Dave, "the owner", would have gotten on the phone with me at some point in the last month. And if you come on here again and call my opinion of your service dishonest, my next review will be with the BBB. read more

Pool world has been opening and closing my pool for ten years and I would not call anyone's else. They always show up on time, do a good job and are able to handle any required repairs to pool or accessories. Booking sn appointment with them is always quick and easy and they come out quickly too.
