This location is AWFUL! I was there yesterday and every employee I encountered was either rude or oblivious. The wifi and data signals also sucked inside, and I couldn't load my grocery list my family sent me, so I ended up just leaving and going to Kroger! When I asked a gentleman employee at customer service if there was possibly a better way to get connection in the store, he made me feel stupid and gave me a snarky comment. I am a big fan of Publix. I love love love their bakery. They make the best birthday cakes and cupcakes, and chocolate ganache cake. Their key lime pie is also very delicious, and so are their cinnamon buns. Oh, and I love the BOGOs. Every week, they have their sales, and you can't beat the buy one get one offers. I will say they tend to be a little pricier overall for groceries, but I feel their customer service and selections are worth it. I had found this specialty juice I was looking everywhere for, and they carried the brand but not the flavor I wanted. So, after speaking to one of the managers, he was kind of enough to get with the produce manager, and order me a case of it. It came two days after the order was placed. And when I walked in to get it, they both remembered me and what I had ordered. Now that's good customer service! You can literally order a specialty cake one day in advance, because they bake it the day you want it. FRESH! And if you have kids, they can get a cookie at the bakery shop for free, always a nice touch. And if you're lucky, your child might give you a bite. (the sugar cookie rocks) Very pleased with the store cleanliness, customer service, and the bakery is terrific! Stop in. read more

I'm posting a review in specific to the bakery here. I came into the store to order a cake for my sons first birthday party because well, everyone knows that Publix cakes are the best. Overall the experience was easy and pleasant when dealing with the bakery manager. She was sweet and nice to work with and was excited to help me build the perfect cake based on my vision. The day before the party I called to confirm my order and they confirmed the cake with the correct flavors and all, but then said ' we also can't do the smash cake in the flavor you chose .. which other flavor do you want?' I found this odd because this was he day before the party/the day before the cake order was due and I was wondering what they would have done if I hadn't called to confirm? Would they have just chosen a new flavor for me? Finally, when we finally picked up the cake, the flavors were completely wrong, it was decorated poorly (they added decor that I didn't ask for and it looked sloppy) and it was slightly lopsided. The cake total was close to 70$ so for a 70$ cake I was expecting them to get the order right and to make the cake look nice but I was really disappointed during the party. I called the bakery to provide my feedback and they apologized and asked what they could do to make it up, but never offered a solution themselves. Overall, the TASTE of the cake was great, but besides that I was disappointed. read more

This older caucasian women made my sub with an attitude the whole time, i did not get to get her name but she had on glasses. She did not even greet me when I first came up, after wards threw my sub on the thing and screamed out your welcome! Like I was suppose to thank her for her rude service. I was never a big fan of Publix. I always thought their prices were more expensive than Kroger or Wal-Mart. However, I really like the people who work here. They're always super friendly and very helpful. I also really appreciate that I've never had to wait in line for a cashier. Every single time that I've come here to shop, there's been no waiting whatsoever. I appreciate that they are willing to help carry your groceries out to your car, and even help unload them into my car. It says a lot and means a lot and with having two kids, it makes all the difference! read more

Well, what can you say. This place is nice. For once, a less crowded - yet very clean Store. I stop here from time to time since its on my route back to the office from the gym around lunch time. They always have great lunch specials, which is what i always end up getting, i'm all about trying new sandwiches and meals! All always for a great price. Check it out if you are in the area, if you are tired of Subway then definitely try Publix's deli subs. read more

Darn, I was so excited to have a Publix within walking distance of my new house. Unfortunately I'm afraid that this one doesn't measure up to all of the other Publix stores I've been going to for nearly 30 years. The first person I spoke with was the elderly woman preparing the dish that is given out in samples. These people are usually friendly and outgoing. This woman was a grouch who probably shouldn't be working with customers. She even told me to read the recipie card when I asked her what she was putting together. Second miss was in the deli. We went for the advertised sale on three chicken tenders and two sides dinner. There were only two sides to choose from-dried out macaroni and cheese and old looking onion rings. Terrible selection. When eating the onion rings, it was basically a ring of batter as I guess the onion inside had shriveled up to nothing. A plus was the very friendly cashier. Being from Pittsburgh, PA and really not having good grocery stores, we long for a Publix or a Wegman's. On our visits to our sons house in Suwanee Ga we always look forward to going to Publix. The store is wide open and the aisles are not crowded making everything easy to see. The staff is always friendly and talkative. Recognizing that we are not locals, they always engage us in a conservation that makes us feel welcomed. They have most everything but the selection within categories may be more narrow. All in all, a well lit store filled with an efficient staff. Great wine selection! read more

The pharmacy at this publix is one to rave about! They are very quick to fill your prescriptions and have never been out of anything I was getting filled! The staff there is always super friendly and always seem genuinely concerned with their customers. Every time I go they make sure I understand exactly how the medications are going to perform and what to expect while taking them! I get all my prescriptions filled here whenever I leave the doctor because they are right down the street from my doctor, quick, and always friendly! I don't do my grocery shopping here, but my mom has been shopping here since we moved into our family house in the area! She loves the meat department and the produce! I would recommend this grocery store to anyone that lives in the area!! read more

WARM AND WELCOMING This Publix is your typical neighborhood store. I have come to realize that the concept of a new Publix is an oxymoron because they all seem as if they were constructed decades ago. I think that they adopted a model decades ago and have just decided to stick with that design aesthetic. It's really kind of depressing when you visit after leaving a Fresh Market store. Anyway, we visited on a Sunday afternoon. I loved that they were busy sampling a variety of items, (beverages, main and side dishes) just in time for the holidays. The items we sampled were actually good, especially the mustard glazed asparagus. If you like something, you can obtain a copy of the recipe before you leave or purchase the item sampled. We decide to grab a snack from the deli department and while I was there, I noticed the beautiful soups they had available, (chili, tortilla, and a white creamy option). I usually don't purchase prepared soups because of the sodium soup but these looked and smelled delicious. In addition to crackers, they also offered regular and jalapeno cornbread to accompany. We decided to take some fried wings and a breast to go and I also grabbed my favorite Calypso cookie, (oatmeal, coconut and pecans). The wings were very heavily breaded to the point that I initially thought that they had doubled the order. I could not eat them as they were and had to remove the excess breading. The cookies which normally have a nice soft and chewy consistency were too chewy and a bit tough. I will not be ordering these items from this particular store again as this was not a very good experience. If you are a Publix fan, you will probably like this store because the people are very nice and helpful. read more

The cashier in the express checkout line @ 4ish on 12/27 was very rude. I placed my basket down on the conveyor and she asked me "You wanna unload your own basket?" in a very demeaning tone. Not that I have a problem doing that but that's how I've always done that and she could have asked me differently... or just unload it cause it's your job. Crazy concept. read more

Most of the people who worked here were incredibly inattentive. The old lady at the cashier was very rude and just gave a half smirk when I was the first one to greet her. Plus none of the promotional offers were added. The only pleasant experience was the nice and welcoming bagger. I'd much rather go to Target or Kroger for groceries. Not coming here again. read more

I'm here to praise the pharmacy at this location. Lisa Soderman is the chief pharmacist here, and she is such a kind, informative, efficient, and professional person, as are her staff. After over 8 years of bottling pills for my wife and me, she makes us feel like family here. Don't get me wrong, the grocery part is pretty good. I tend to get my veggies and seafood at Super H, and meat at Fresh Market, but she's our drug czar! read more

This Publix is right by my office, so occasionally I'll stop here to get lunch or pick up a few things after work. It's pretty big, very clean and has more options for quick lunches - salads, sandwiches, etc - than the mini Publix I frequent for groceries. The people who work here are also very friendly. This was my go to Publix and out of all the Publix locations in Johns Creek, I would select this one due to the customer service, extra cleanliness, and they typically aren't as busy as the other locations. Today I was so disappointed. I went in to purchase ginger ale and Prosecco for my Bellini's on the porch time, so I could watch the full moon tonight and tomorrow :-). Sarah Hemby (sp?) asked for my ID then asked me to completely remove my mask . Since late March I have never gone out without my masks and as an extra precaution I spray essential oils on it to further protect me. Today when she asked me to remove it I was frustrated, shocked, and disappointed. I asked her why and she stated it was policy to ID people and she needed to see my face. I begrudging complied then went to speak with the manager who confirmed that there was no such policy and she apologized stating she would speak with Sarah. I have no idea what her motive was but I can say If I become ill I will hold Sarah and Publix accountable. Unbelievable. read more

We went to Publix on 12/15 to get sandwiches made. Nobody working the deli counter could understand the order that we made online. When we arrived at the scheduled completion time, they hadn't even started making sandwiches. The manager had to get involved just to complete the order (I guess requesting oregano was too much for the non-English speaking employee to handle). This has been our neighborhood grocery store since 1998. No longer, they are not hiring quality people to work there anymore. There is a group of Eastern European women that work there now that don't know any English, and if they moved any slower, I believe they would break the space/time continuum. I don't know what happened to Art, but ever since he left, this store has gone to pot. Getting sandwiches at Publix was always a good idea in our household for a quick carry in those evenings that we didn't want to cook. NEVER AGAIN! read more
