The wine area at this publix is fantastic. The ONLY complaint is that they do not have someone working there to assist all the time.

I really love this Publix. Although its always busy the staff are always super helpful whenever you need to find anything. The line for the Publix subs/deli never get too crazy (at least when I go). Everything is always well-stocked and well-organized. Sometimes in the meats, things run out pretty quickly so try to go in the morning if you're picky about your meats. The butcher is nice and always cuts everything the way I like it. Really have no complaints about this place. read more

Always takes 15-20 mins to get a sub. If you're in a rush, don't come here. They recently redid the sub system they had but management still seems to not have it right. read more

I learned to really appreciate Publix's cleanliness and quality of food when I shopped at a big chain supermarket on a visit to NC. One word: Euww! Not as clean and the product variety was not there. Maybe I'm picky, but I expect my supermarket not to gross me out. As long as Publix keeps its high standards, I'm with them all the way. read more

I agree with Luis S. This is the best Publix around! I love that their deli carries nitrate free Boar's head cold cuts. They do have a nice wine section and I always find what I need here. Not so with some of the other Publix supermarkets. I only wish I lived in the area so I could do my regular shopping here. read more

I went there to get something from the deli, the service is atrocious. I was the next person to be served, then the deli employee turned away and served somebody else on the other side of the counter, (where they have the fried food).. There was another employee there who shouted "1 second" after I gave her the "customary" 10 minute wait, I left. I could not waste anymore time waiting because I would be late returning from my lunch break. They need to work on their customer service/etiquette. I will not be shopping at Publix anymore. read more

I'm writting to complain about the deli departments . I've shopped at all three of the publix in miami beach . each deli department clerk has the biggest nastiest attitude in the world. they are rude to customers and have no organization amongst them selves . most the time you stand in line as they fight over who is going to attend you next and trust me not in a good way . I tried the one off of 50th and Biscayne and it only got worse I rather goto subway for deli needs I know it's no comparison but at least I'm respected as a customer . I love shopping at publix they always have great deals and its the only supermarket in my neighborhood I trust to have fresh produce But the staff or hiring process for there deli department has to be revamped ASAP I hope the management at these publix locations will look into this problem and teach there staff How to treat customers I also would like to say sorry in advance to those who have had to have the same unpleasant experience as I've had . I only buy the best meat, maybe, every other month. All other times I eat chicken or veggies. Today, I requested 1/2 a tenderloin, like I have done in the past. It should be as you saw it, at least 2 inches thick. As I have done in the past, I asked for a half of one. Was looking forward to my treat. As I was cooking it, it seemed rather flat! I continued and ate it, however, I swear, it was not the tenderloin I asked for! I am mad! ( a $7.00 purchase!) What do I do for my monthly treat and now it was not. My favorite Publix as far as the selections go. They have strange undercover shoppers walking around, however, that look like criminals. This was off putting and I called the store to complain, only to be informed later that they were employees of the store. The deli ladies also have serious attitude! Can't beat the product selection though, and the location is prime and central. read more

this is my mom/dads publix and ever since i moved out of their house this publix (along with a few other things) is what i miss most about the neighborhood. its huge, well stocked, plenty of employees, and open registers. the deli/produce/seafood is always fresh and top notch. this publix does make shopping a pleasure. plus i usually bump into someone i know from the neighborhood which is always nice to see old familiar faces. i ordered some platters for a party. and ordering them was a bit rough, i got transferred 4 times before a nice woman who didnt even work in the deli helped me out and took my order and then hand delivered it to the deli dept. when i called back to confirm everything was all set. the platters are huge (they have small, med, or large) and are fresh and prepared to the tee. they were a hit at the party. and the price cant be beat. why go thru all the trouble of making everything yourself when you can get beautifully made fresh platters for just about the same price and no hassle. publix rocks!! read more

I'm a little biased because I've been going to this Publix for over 10 years. While it is always packed, I feel like it's the biggest and best Publix in Miami. Always fresh, always organized and always friendly and helpful staff attentive to all of your needs. It even has a liquor store so you can get everything you need in one stop. I come here all the time and the long lines really don't bother me. read more

This is the best Publix in Miami. It has a huge selection or liquor, wine, and food, of course. The check out staff and baggers are some of the nicest I have come across! I am originally from Chicago and this grocery store trumps any grocery store there! Love this Publix. It is so clean and large. You don't have to move your buggy out of an aisle to let someone else by like you do at the one in C.Gables. We usually shop at that one bc it is a lot closer to our place, however, they are always stocking the shelves no matter what day/time it is and only 1 buggy can really fit down an aisle at once due to this. It is always jam packed with mobs of people too. So, this is a nice change of pace. It actually makes grocery shopping...need I say...Fun! Also, they make great subs (chicken tender subs are to die for). They have a nice wine selection too. read more

This Publix is the best! Even though Winn-Dixie is a little bit closer to my house, I still almost always come to this Publix. This store is huge and has an amazing selection of products. It's always clean, well stocked, and the employees are helpful if you ever need anything. The only negative I can think of is that it can get a bit crowded if you come on the weekends, but even then they have so many checkout stands you usually don't have to wait too long. read more

We used Dadeland's Publix event staff, Dawn and Scarlet, to order our wedding cake. I believe a Publix in Miami Beach were the ones who actually made the cake. Regardless, everyone was fantastic. They were kind, accommodating, personable, and happy to work with us to get the perfect cake for our reception. It was as reasonably priced as it was delicious. Delivery went fine and it looked amazing. Not sure what else we could have asked for. read more

Well im at publix just doing my thing and trying to pass some time so I figured why not do a review, well ontonthe reviw, lets get started. For starters I think it is a nice place to just relax and just unwind after a nice day at whatever you do.. I like to come here and just chill out, and the people are really cool. Sometimes I like to get a arizona iced tea from their cooler, and they are excellent. WOW WEE! However this goes to say there is no drawbacks, for One thing I dont like is the very beautIful women arent very friendly back to me,when I try too walk their carts (currently unemployed but I am just a regular nice joe) and call me things like ugly, and I need to wash my face, but alas nothing or one is perfect.. 3/10, step it up a bit, aiight Publix? First let me say that for the consumer, shopping in Publix is great. I've never met an unpleasant person there. BUT, for the employee, Publix is not so great. For example, workers who stand on their feet all day, have had their breaks taken away and their lunch hour shortened. Workers are fired without good reason and there is no pension, no benefits. Horrible customer service from one of the supervisor "Mike" very rude and horrible experience. I've a customer for Publix for over 10 years and i spend my hard earned money at this store just based on the fact that i have always received nothing but the best customer service experience. Today around 9pm i decided buy groceries based on their promotion to give me 10 off $50 giftcard for every $50 spent. I spent well over $200 dollars to take advantage of this promotion. After everything was in the cart the cashier asked me to wait for a supervisor to come see me and approve the discount since it was just expired. As soon as the supervisor Mike came with another employee he didn't even let me talk he just said that he can't do anything that it had expired since Sunday. I advised him that this was false advisement and shouldn't be in the ad for this week if it had expired already, he kept being super unproffesional and rude and kept saying he wasn't going to do anything. I was so upset that i told him i would leave everything and i didn't want to purchase anything and the only thing that he said was "OK" what type of supervisor doesn't care about the company's profits? Or they customers? Not only that but he kept repeating that on the paper it said that it was expired making me feel stupid. This experience and his attitude was uncalled. MIKE WAS THE MOST INCOMPETENT, UNPROFFESIONAL, AND DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEE THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTER AT PUBLIX. I will be calling the store manager and corporate to report this incident. $20 off shouldn't be an issue for such a huge company that prides themselves with " Great Customer Service". read more

This is a great Publix, it's one of the big ones (unlike the Monza Publix in front of UM). It was hard to find at first but with a little hunting, you will find it. It's behind the Rooms To Go and CompUSA in front of Dadeland mall. The parking lot is big so you will always find a spot and the employees are always kind. read more

Huge Publix! I will admit I was always a fan of my childhood small 90's looking Publix, but once you start shopping at one of these larger warehouse kind you will never go back. The selection is great and they usually have all I have ever needed. This Publix gets very busy and lines can tend to be long during peak hours. It is best to visit during non-peak hours, weekdays mornings and evenings. Cashiers are nice and greet you. read more

This is a pretty decent Publix. Once you walk in, you're shown a fantastic display of a variety of different products. You'll be able to find most of what you need in this store with ease. Staff and workers present at the time were all pleasant to work with. The only person I had a problem with was the manager. The manager at the time was an elderly man with glasses who barely spoke a lick of english, had an attitude, and was very uncompromising. It was very frustrating trying to get basic procedural answers from him. I feel like Publix is notorious for having bad management, but good staff to make up for it. Anyways, I digress. Good store, decent prices, and friendly staff to boot. Just stay away from management, as you'll get nothing from them. read more

The BOGO is a complete scam. Once again the stock is gone on every BOGO I came to get. Asking for each item is just a waste of time. The clerk disappears for several minutes only to return to tell you they are out. It is really annoying for the products I buy regularly at the normal price. Hey how would you all like to know the guy that didn't wash his hands in the bathroom is now fondling your pre made Publix salad. Publix has stated the tape used to secure the lid on the salad was costing to much. TWO PIECES OF TAPE. Now your salads can be opened, rummaged through and placed back in the cooler. I wrote them they stated customers were complaining the tape was to hard to remove. I love this market, but on one hand I am told directly by three managers it was for cost savings and the reply I get back from corporate the same people that told local markets it was to costly, now states the tape is to hard to remove.
