Ambiance -- The staff is friendly. The store is clean. The plus sides -- It has a Starbucks and it has an area dedicated for catering. I used to shop at Publix regularly because the customer service was outstanding. While the prices were always on the higher side, the quality of service once made it feel worthwhile. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. On recent visits, staff do not greet customers, offer assistance, or even acknowledge people entering the store. When a business maintains premium prices, customers generally expect a corresponding level of service. Right now, that balance appears to be missing. Because of this, I've stopped shopping here. I also would not recommend bringing out-of-town guests, which is something I used to do. There are several other stores in the area offering the same products at significantly lower prices, along with friendlier service. Publix is the primary grocery store in the state of Florida, there are countless locations. In the most recent years most Publix locations have been remodeled to make them all standard. They have an amazing deli where you can get great custom sub sandwiches, get warm food including their delicious popcorn chickens. The bakery has delicious pastries and they do solid cakes and for a good price. They have a great customer service and they are very helpful. This review is pretty much on Publix in general but my personal favorite is the Dadeland location. We usually get catering for our kids parties from them and they have great packages. read more

So I am complaining about a Starbucks employee in this Publix. I ordered a Tall Iced Matcha with light ice/ice on the side and a certain Employee named Kendrick wanted to charge me for the light ice/ice on the side and it was bogus! This charge was not advertised and Kendrick along with also two other Employees said it's the new policy. I complained that it was a bogus charge and that it was not posted and instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt He insisted as well as his coworkers. It was a bad experience Kendrick gave me, extremely rude, does not know customer service to be working at Starbucks and Publix! This is worst Publix. Most of the employees here have horrible customer service skills. And get angry if you ask them a question which requires them to work. I purchased a gift card and every line was extremely long. I asked an employee if I could purchase a gift card through the self checkout and she pointed that I go to customer service which also had a long line. I told her I was in a hurry and this was my only item. She sighed like it was the biggest thing ever to ask of her when her job assignment area was self checkout but she was too busy socializing then do her job and help customers. Buyer Beware - Pharmacy was splitting Doctors prescription for eye drops so insurance would not cover. They were going to charge us over $500 for 2 bottles (instead of one higher oz bottle that Doctor had prescribed and would have been covered by insurance). I took prescription to another pharmacy and they filled the prescription as ordered by Doctor. Prescription was covered by insurance and was $120. Have to wonder if they are doing this to intentionally increase their profits. Beware and shop other pharmacies for prescriptions that seem to be high dollar here. read more

While I'm not a fan of the parking situation, I do appreciate their ample produce and deli section. I love seeing their varied options of seasonal potatoes and artisanal tomatoes. Plus, their fresh juices always have a new option for me to try. The salad bags have plenty of blends so I always opt for the special of the week that's on BOGO. I find that their bags of onions are usually better priced than the individual ones so that's a great inventive. This store is always kept very clean and the meat department has great cuts on display for every budget. I enjoy the fresh sliced bread from the bakery along with my online order of deli meats for one delicious sandwiches. My favorite publix! Probably why I'm not as keen to the ones closer by me in palm beach county because I've been spoiled by this one growing up. Just had a chance to visit it while in town visiting family and it's unmatched as far as their wide and worldly selection. I swear the pricing here is better than up north too. Found my favorite oat milk brand (elmhurst) and the ronzoni super greens pasta which has been hard to come by in other grocery stores amongst various other items. Their "ethnic" aisle is like I've never seen before too, sorry no pic, but each shelving section is full and defined clearly with each country that the product is imported from (germany, england, india, china, etc). They're pretty accommodating with requests too if for some reason you can't find what you're looking for, but usually exceeds my expectations with their selection and comparable publix brand (which honestly is sometimes better) read more

This used to be my to-go supermarket back when I lived in Kendall. more out of convenience than anything else, I still go from time to time, and it has never failed me. My first gripe against it back then was that it consistently was more expensive than the closest Winn Dixie, but now they're pretty much the same every time I go around. That Winn Dixie also used to have better meat, and that also has been improved, so whenever I'm in the area I really don't have a preference. Even customer service has improved a lot, though this Publix still has a bit to go compared to other Publix locations (but it is definitely better than many others in this aspect). It also has a separate liquor store next to the leftmost entrance, and an ample parking lot. read more

I don't think I have set foot in this location since it was an Xtra grocery store. I was craving my favorite sub this time of the year...turkey, smoked gouda, bacon, cranberry sauce and mayo and I have them add onions and jalapenos for a nice bite. I walked into this place and I could not believe all the prepared food area. I had a quick look around because my time was limited. They have a salad bar and a hot food bar and I have to say that the prepared hot food at the deli is the best I have seen. It has not been sitting there forever because there is a line of people ordering and the food keep moving. I am looking forward to coming back with a bit more time to really explore this store. read more

This is my go-to Publix. It's a hidden gem, the biggest, the best. This Publix is huge. There is a little Publix liquor store right next to the entrance so you can kill two birds with one stone. There is always parking! It gets packed, but don't give up! Just keep looking and you will definitely find one. Everything at the Deli is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. There are many tables right next to the Deli where you can sit and enjoy your Publix sub or maybe tequeño, whatever floats your boat. Everything is organized, well-maintained, and fresh. By far my favorite Publix in Miami. Here is why: It's huge: I'm pretty sure this location has everything and more. The Publix is massive and it includes a liquor store on its side which not all Publix stores have. They have salad/food bar: this location is so big that it has its own salad bar. Everything always looks fresh located right next to the produce section. It also has a food area as well as an area dedicated to olives (kind of like Whole Foods). It's great. They even have a place next to it like a cafeteria where you can eat your lunch instead of having to go back to the office or home. I love it. This location is always spotless despite it being so big. You can always find help everywhere and people are actually helpful. Most importantly and finally all the registers are usually open. A lot of locations I go to are under staffed and I feel like this one always has enough. Keep it up!! read more

Surprisingly busy for being somewhat hidden but doesn't feel so because there are so many employees. The lanes are so luxurious you can drive a small vehicle through them. Compared to the Publix thats closest to us, this one has to have at least double the square footage that is put to good use with double the selection. There is also a liquor store! Pro-tip - If you are getting a Publix Sub (The Best), ask for Paulette to make it for you. She is an elderly African- American lady that takes her time to make a masterpiece on a footlong. Passed by after work to pickup some groceries. The deli was out of Boar's Head Turkey Breast -- there seems to be a shortage but it wasn't clear if it was covid related. I was told to call the next day and ask before visiting or ordering online. It was understandable and good advice. Well, I called today and after 20 mins and being transferred 5 times I finally got an answer. Why when I call and choose the deli department option do I get Customer Service instead? If it's on my way and close to where I am going I will pass by to get some items. This is not my Publix first choice for buying groceries & else. I have noticed that this particular Publix has the same items as other Publixe's but at higher prices. I could get the same item at another Publix at a lesser price. The supermarket is huge... great lighting, nice arrangement. I remember this store being an EXTRA supermarket before! You can definitely find everything you are looking for at this supermarket, I bet you can even find things that other Publixe's maybe don't have!! And yes, they have live Maine lobsters in a tank. Love calling this Publix "mine". It's close to home, and its's also one of their larger stores so they carry a wider array of products than others. I know this because I've purchased some stuff but tried returning it at the smaller Publix close to my job and they couldn't accept the items because they weren't carried at that location. Not a big deal, just something worth noting. Parking is a bit of a pain in the butt as this Publix is quite popular and in the middle of a growing community (there is a new apartment building going up in the heart of the area). Definitely the best Publix in the area for produce. It's always super fresh and there's always an amazingly good variety. This place is open, spacious, and colorful. Like other Publix stores, it's pricey, hence the docked star. Whether it's pricier than other Publix stores, well, I couldn't tell ya because I haven't been since close to August and I really don't regularly shop at Publix. Publix is just my go-to for produce if I don't feel like risking what I need turning out to be dang near rotten on shelves at other stores which shall remain nameless. Anywho, if you have a choice because perhaps you work near here, but live elsewhere, then buy your groceries at this location. You would really be shocked at how widely things vary in quality from one Publix to the next. On an unrelated, but very important point, this is yet another Publix in which you just may get run over by customers who suffer from mad cart syndrome. This Publix is the closest to my boyfriend's place. It's a huge Publix. It's much bigger than the one by my house. Still, there are two things that are inconvenient about this Publix. The location and the parking! Finding this Publix is a little tricky as it's in front of Dadeland Mall, but you can't see it. You have to go into a plaza, but you're more likely to see everything else but this Publix. This Publix is hidden away at the right side, way back. The other pain about this Publix is the parking - it needs more of it. It seems this Publix is always packed. I mean, I definitely can see why. It has a lot of merchandise. I find things in this Publix that I never do at the one by my house, but still it's aggravating. To begin, I hate grocery shopping, don't know why just do. It's not as bad as pairing socks after you haven't washed clothes in three weeks but it's pretty bad. Luckily I have a decent Publix, near my place. I've gone at various times and parking is never a mission, I get a space as soon as I drive in. I'm also not afraid of parking far, I actually prefer it less chances of finding a ding in your car due to a run-a-way shopping cart. Parking - check Inside is very big with a great selection, including a GREEN aisle. I don't know if all Publix have incorporated this but it's pretty neat. It consist of all healthy organic stuff that you wouldn't find in the regular aisles. Products - check I have yet to find someone that wasn't courteous and helpful. Today I asked someone for help in finding something, he didn't know where it was I told him " no worries". He actually went around asking other employees til he found the answer and told me. Fellow vegans BEWARE!!!! Went to order the vegan Greek Herb & Tofu sub, and was surprised that they didn't have the tofu crumbles already prepackaged like the other Publix deli's I've been to. Instead they retrieved the Greenwise extra firm tofu from produce along with Marzetti Simply dressed ranch dressing to dice the tofu and toss with the Marzetti ranch and gourmet gardens parsley paste. Thankfully I looked at the back label of the ranch and it said contains egg and milk. They seemed shocked because they were told that's the recipe for that sub. This Publix is everything the "Sorority Girl Publix" over on Monza Ave. isn't. Spacious, with wide aisles. Orderly deli department with the automated system you find in all newer Publix markets - no fighting to obtain a few slices of ham. Larger Greenwise section. Ample parking. Large produce department, very nice wine selection. There's also a small liquor store attached, in case you need something a little more......substantial....than wine or beer. The checkout lines never seem to be that bad, either. I think the cashiers over on Monza actually try to be slow and inefficient, making these seem lightning-quick by comparison. No matter - rarely do I find myself becoming impatient here. I was just there a few minutes ago. While I've never found this Publix to be up to much in terms of people-watching, I could not avert my gaze from a rather classy-looking, fetching blonde with wavy short hair, about my age or a couple years older. She was clad in what looked to me like a flight attendant's uniform, just the kind you'd have seen in the '60s and '70s back when that was a glamorous job. Knee-high skirt, colorful light scarf. Wow. It took me way too long to find what I was looking for in the produce department - to be honest, I couldn't concentrate on my shopping.
