Oh Publix....I normally enjoy you but you need to retrain or replace some of these employees. When it was time for me to checkout, I went to the only line open. The cashiers name is NADEGE. Yep, I called you out NADEGE. I had a turkey wrap combo and as she scanned the sandwich, I reminded her that it was a combo and to not scan the chips & drink separately. What does she do?? She scans the chips anyway and says, "how am I supposed to know it's a combo? It's not in the combo box." So once again I said I know it's not in the box..that's why I'm giving you a heads up. Do you know this lady began arguing with me about a combo box!! So the young ladies bagging my groceries were trying to distract me and ask me how my day was going. They should've been my cashier and let NADEGE, the African Queen, bag because she obviously wasn't in the mood to work that day...she should've went home. I get to my car and look at my receipt. I'll be dangit if she didn't scan my black bean chips twice. So, I had to go back to the store to get a refund. The guy at customer service looked like he was scared to see why I was coming back in the store. Look, don't make this Publix look bad. Put her in the floral dept. or something but don't sacrifice your reputation for good customer service for a few employees. If I wanted employees arguing with me and trying to charge me more than they should, I would go to Kroger. read more

Though I do like Publix over other stores, this location is sad. The staff don't greet you and most of the time they're texting on the phone or standing around chatting. I go 4 miles out of my way to another one because the service is sad. read more

I had an ugly experience today which started my day off wrong ... I am bigger than my problems so I wont completely dog this store. Long story short the cashier was very rude and needs to go find somewhere else to work !! Why work somewhere where shopping is suppose to be a pleasure for customers? Customers shouldn't be disrespected and feel unappreciated. I will not go into details as to what happened because I don't want to keep others from trying this store the manager that came by to resolve the issue was very helpful and did everything he could to try to regain my business. After calling the Publix Corporate office the Assistant store manager reached out and apologized to me as well. Its a shame that now i will go out of my way to go to the powers ferry publix and vinnings publix just to avoid the store that is 2 miles from my house!! I have had good times in this publix I came here on a weekly basis when I was pregnant just for the sliced cake a deli subs so I am more than disappointed that one rude associate could disgust me to resort to such drastic measures! Again very proud of the way management handled the situation. Great job to Selena, Joshua & Mike!! This is my usual grocery store. On the plus side, Publix has really good cake...I had a chocolate with white icing variety at a birthday..yum! One gripe, they hardly ever have lady fingers for making my charlotte russes. read more

Dismal customer service. Have done all my grocery shopping at the Sope Creek Crossing store on Delk Road, Marietta, GA since it opened. I receive their email last week offering $5 off a $30 order if you enter your phone number at checkout. I purchased $88 yesterday, but forgot to enter my phone number for the $5 discount. The cashier said I could request the $5 from customer service. Customer service refused to grant me the discount because I could not show her the email. The cashier came to my assistance, even telling her it wasn't fair, but nope, she wouldn't do it. You would think that because I knew about the discount that I had actually received it, but they obviously don't think that way. I finally found a manager (he said he was "one of the managers") and I angrily and tearfully told him the story, told him at that point I was so furious I didn't even want the money, turned around and walked out. He did not say one word, which makes me wonder if my complaint was even relayed to upper management. I will never shop Publix again as my money and loyalty obviously mean nothing to them. I recently shopped at this store on a Monday thinking they might have items in stock starting the week off ,, NOT!!! so I was forced to check out at the customer service desk in order to get a rain ck,, and as the three girls were trying to ck me out and figure how to give me a rain ck one of the girls started talking about some damn t-shirts and " had the other girls order there's "well, to say the least, I was appalled and asked for the manager. after waiting longer than I thought I should have I left. and besides this is not the first incident at this store and I personnel find this incident the by-product of poor management, and as a result, I will try not to shop in a Publix store again, unless it is totally for my convenience. read more

I routinely shop at this Publix because it is close to my work. For the most part, I'll get something from the deli and go back to work. I usually get a sub or salad. I've never had anything out of the ordinary occur other than the line being long at the deli for the subs because there is usually just one employee that seems to be available to make a sub. I was in a bit of a hurry today, so I grabbed a pre made Boar's Head Classic Italian Sandwich and a small salad. As soon as I bit into the sandwich, I noticed a strong soapy taste and immediately spit it out. When I opened up the bread, there was just a half slice of salami and 1 slice of ham. The only condiment was about 8-10 gooey tablespoons of what appeared to be mayonnaise, garnished with 3 slimy shreds of rancid lettuce. There was more mayonnaise than meat. I tried to call the store manager and the deli manager but both were unavailable. After 10 minutes of being on hold, I eventually got through to someone who said he was a customer service manager. I told him that I the soapy taste was awful and that the sandwich was a disgusting rip off. I expected him to take down my name and number so that I could speak to the store manager. Instead he offered an apology and said I could bring the sandwich back for a full refund of my $5.29 + tax. Thanks Publix! read more

This Publix is great to get some stuff on the go. The deli counter people are very friendly and the lines are short and move pretty quickly. You can also find more variety of certain ethnic products here better than at other Publix in the area. However, I DO prefer the bigger type of Publix but overall this is a great supermarket. read more

Love, love, LOVE my local Publix. When I'm not in the mood to shop for groceries, I somehow find my attitude shifting when I walk into the store. The staff is always helpful without being overbearing. I especially enjoy the sense of family, which of course, is their goal. I always visit Publix before going to any of the other grocers within a 0.5 mile radius. I definitely recommend them over any chain grocer. read more

Love to go to publix and grab a "pub sub" from their deli for lunch which is a great value and way more fulfilling than a subway or blimpie sub. I do not grocery shop here but my girlfriend and her mother do and they love the place so I am sure there is alot to love about their grocery prices to. I pass this location on my way home so the convenience is great. The store isn't as big as some of their other locations so you don't feel that you are on a marathon. Store is clean and always well stocked. I shop here on occasion. I find Publix too pricey for weekly shopping. The Bakery is much better than Kroger's so that's a draw for me. Produce is always good. Staff friendly and helpful. read more

I always shop here and find that my experience is very pleasing. Today I had an issue of my own fault in which the store manager, I believe his name was Jeff, went above and beyond to help me in such a way that would not benefit the store but did in fact help me out a lot. I love this publix. Two major reasons. It is a good clean publix. I have heard various things to the counterwise and I understand, but compared to the neighboring groceries, this place is golden. By far the best Publix I have ever been in! The produce section is great and the whole store is so well laid out. Very friendly employees . Kind of hard to get in and out of, depending on which direction you're coming from, need a couple more registers open. But by far well worth the extra mile or so drive for me for the quality of the store. read more

This is a really nice store clean and well stocked. the deli bakery, produce and meat department are very clean ready for customer.

This place has really gone downhill since its "renovation". The customers are unruly, from a lady leaning on the bread near the sandwich shop to having a million coupons and holding up lines and blocking ends of isles. The employees can be worse. I needed a small cake and they only come in pink and yellow. it is for my husband. I asked if this was all they have and they said yes. No offer to frost a new one in a neutral color or any info if more would be coming. I took the yellow and as I walked away they were discussing how the cake has roses and isn't a boy's cake. How about you make some small ones without roses? There is one guy who bags almost everything in its own bag. I had two cereals, sandwich meat, chicken salad, hot chicken tenders all in their own bags in addition to tons of other items in the cart, these just stood out to me. Then he put the hot stuff on top of the cold in the cart. It seems as if this place is more of an annoyance than a friendly local grocer. There are a ton more things to share and these are only from two visits this week.
