They just GAVE me reusable bags today. My inner environmentalist is jumping for joy! Also, the workers are so kind and friendly!

Staff is friendly and store is clean! I go out of way to go to this location! K.d. in the pharmacy knows most of his customers by name which makes me feel welcomed and wanted! read more

Publix - a person holding a receipt in their hand - Grocery Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

The assistant deli manager Lenice and the two guys working the customer service desk tonight (12/17/18) went above and beyond to make a bad deli experience right! Publix is usually consistent but they went above and beyond to be empathetic about the deli and they took ownership for! This is why I shop here read more

I went to the deli to pick up some food for my husband & I on June 21st, the women working where the hot food is were nice enough, but the woman working with the subs was rude as hell, didn't ask half the questions you'd expect from someone you're ordering from & acted pissy when you ask for something else, like hot sauce (which was literally empty & god forbid she refill it or bother asking if it was enough). But that's okay, because hot sauce wasn't the only thing they were out of, but also literally every wrap but one. All of this, plus she didn't even try to close my sandwich. read more

I like this Publix. I usually only go here when it's on my way home and I just need a few items, but it is very sufficient for that sort of thing. I have noticed that the people working in the deli here seem extraordinarily nice. That's a good thing. I do usually end up here at off-peak hours but I can always find a parking space and get in and out pretty quickly. The produce is sufficient and they have all the normal stuff you expect at a Publix store. The checkout staff and baggers seem to be quite nice, too. read more

Dr. Eddie Turner (and staff) were very kind and efficient during my recent visit; definitely worth more that a five star rating. Dr. Eddie Turner has wonderful bedside manners and was very thorough. He listened to my issues and showed great concern. I'm glad he's conveniently located in the Mableton area. Convenience when you don't feel well means a lot. Thank you for all that you do for the community !!! Kim read more

Worst run Publix in Atlanta. Deli help is always slow and surly which are two traits you wouldn't expect when paying 13 dollars for a pound of turkey. The order online service rarely succeeds in having an order ready when promised. Front end help is t much better. Cashiers don't show any sense of urgency when there are lines forming. Management seems content to stand around and watch. If the Kroger experience wasn't just a bit worse this store would be in trouble. Most Publix are clean, well run with friendly people. This one consistently fails on all counts. read more

Normally I would not review a grocery store, but for Publix, I will. Its my favorite, and of course there are none in California. Publix has a great selection of EVERYTHING. One notable that I like there is you can buy 1/4 of a pie. How amazing is that ? I've never seen anything like that. Their deli area is very amazing to me, we have nothing like that here. And again, the selection is awesome. Please Publix.. come to California. read more

I like publix, although I typically frequent kroger. I will say that the times i've been here have been worry free, though in fairness, I came in to get one or two items and left. It sometimes can be difficult to get out of here due to traffic, but you'll find your way. read more

Better selection than most. Always has what I need and is convenient for me. Most of all the people are friendly which goes a long way. Also it is clean. read more

This is my neighborhood Publix. The location is clean and well-stocked. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately, however, the store does not carry a wide range of gluten free and organic products. read more

It's Publix! Already one of my favorite grocery stores since they're all clean, well lit, and well-stocked. This one happens to be close to work, so I generally go once a week to pick up lunch supplies for the rest of the week. The layout of this store is a little unusual, and completely different from the other two that I usually go to. The most recent time I went in, I was just completely disoriented and felt like I'd never been in it, even though I have several times now. That should probably limit this review to 3 stars, except for one thing. Something which is very near and dear to my heart: Cheese. This publix has REAL cheese. Cheese that, until now, I've only ever been able to get on the internet or at Whole Foods or Star Provisions. Their cheese selection is the real thing and I highly encourage cheese lovers to pop on over. They even had some wonderful kinds I hadn't had before, but now plan to add to my "must buy" list. Horray for cheese and being close to work, but the layout could use a little makeover for intuitiveness. read more

The Kroger and Publix in Ansley mall are not friendly ... I visit both regularly and I can get in line, load the conveyor, pay for my items, and receive a receipt without a single word from the cashier. At least at Publix I welcome a "hello" most of time. I guess not here anymore, or at least not today --- that's sad. read more

What is the purpose of giving me the option of choosing my pick up time for my sub/wrap, if I'll have to wait when I get there to pick it up?? This location has the worst customer service of all the other Publix I've been to. I can never get my food on time. By the time I do get it, its wrong half the time. I asked for a sub not a freaking salad! -Never again read more

This Publix has the worst "customer service" I have ever experienced. I wouldn't even call it customer service, I'd just call it blatant disrespect. They were extremely unaccommodating and unhelpful. The manager was just as bad as the employee. I actually fear ever going back to any of these establishments because of the experience I encountered shopping!! read more

Deli here is horrible. Rhyan and Connie are some of the laziest people I've ever encountered. Don't waste your time trying to buy meat from them. read more

Ah, the highly anticipated Publix review. This one is for you Donovan. Ansley mall has been around a long time and that Publix is my favorite. I admit that I run to Kroger for things too like a thick ass strip steak. The people at this public are so friendly. There is Lisa, the happiest person alive that cooks the food demonstrations. She also makes announcements while you are shopping and they are the funniest and craziest announcements you have ever heard. I can't think of any description that will do them justice. All I hope is one day you are shopping here and zoning out until you hear the magic words...."Hello Publixs shoppers!" you will then giggle and laugh silently to yourself. The one thing that is so important to me is serving a never been frozen turkey at Thanksgiving. Public will help you, just call in and pre-order and they will have it ready for you prior to the big day. I guess the most important thing I could say is this place is part of my routine and the staff are people I see many times a week. It's so important to be treated well and they do. Not to mention, the new cheese guys is hot and funny if he tells you to buy a cheese you should. I have been mesmerized into buying two and both were really good. read more

Tonight my husband brings home from Publix some of their "organic" Green life ground beef. I hope it and dig into the meat and guess what? It's 1/4 inch red on the outside and nasty brown all through the inside! read more

Publix is the triumph of marketing over substance -- the Ansley Mall location has the smallest produce section imaginable, and are always, and I mean always, out of some basic fundamental product that no well managed grocery store should run out of, whether it is green beans or tonic water -- since I end up having to go to Kroger for the missing item anyway, I have finally given up on Publix. read more

Although this Publix is relatively small, somehow the selection of food is still good. The people who work there, outside of the bakery department, are very nice. For the bakery, it's a toss-up, and rarely pleasant. read more

1/28/16 at 14:40 I checked out with my groceries of $30.20 and the cashier continued to talk with two of her co workers about one of the worker's slacks. Not one of them paid any attention to us as we checked out. The cashier check said Joann was the cashier. The three of them need some training on how to treat a customer. I will return to Kroger to do my grocery shopping. Aly Khournprasseuth is the store manager and needs to give these gals some more training on the importance of the customer who indirectly pays their salary. read more

I have been disappointed in general with the level of customer service at most retail stores in Atlanta. I really thought Publix would be an exception. They are not. The service at this particular Publix is terrible. I have been in there several times and have been ignored. The employees will not make eye contact and will ignore any comment you might make, such as Merry Christmas. I did not realize ignoring their customers was putting their best foot forward. The last time I was there I could not find an item. Generally in a Publix store when you are seen obviously looking for something you cannot find you will be asked quickly "May I help you find something?" Not at Atlanta's Piedmont road store. Finally I gave up and asked an employee. It was a middle aged lady who appeared to be in management walking fast and as usual not making eye contact. There was another customer walking several steps behind her. When I said excuse me. She did not slow but quickly said in a sharp voice "I hope you can see I am helping a customer". Decently stocked grocery store.....apparently customer service is on back order. read more

Hello. I have not been shopping @ Cobb Center Publix #00580 for 2 months, why? Because I have been told @ my local Publix where I shop. {Cobb Center Store #00580} that I can not go to the customer service desk to obtain a rain check after I have completed my shopping. I was told I would need to come to the service desk each time I see that I need a rain check while I am shopping!!!!! This would mean sometimes I would have to make several trips to the customer service desk during my shopping because they are sold out of several items that are on sale that I need that week. I am senior citizen and disabled and can not physically do this. My mother and my sister shop @ the Publix @ Mableton Walk Store #00464 and they are always able to get the rain checks after they have completed their shopping. Is this a policy just for this store? I feel this is not right to have a customer running back and forth to the customer service desk while they are trying to complete the grocery shopping!!!!! I should also note that when I see they are sold out of what I need. I try to get an employee to check in the stockroom for me to see if they have some that can be put out, sometimes I can find an employee to do that and sometimes I can not find any employees on the floor to do that for me. Please tell me if this is a new policy for Publix or just one they have decided to do at this store. read more
