Its a Trader Joes! They are all greatly all the same. But this is a good thing. This is a busy location in Atlanta. But there was plenty of parking and all the checkout lanes open. So it made a busy place tolerable. Great service to go along with the awesome grocery choices. read more

Trader Joe's used to be one of my favorite stores to shop at, but honestly, I can no longer say it is. Through no fault of Trader Joe's itself, it's just no longer a peaceful shopping experience. Since this is my closest store, I'm still trying to figure out a good time to visit. It is always so crowded that you can't take your time to browse. The aisles aren't very wide, shopping carts are everywhere, and there are constantly employees stocking shelves and walking back and forth while you're looking. Sometimes the employees seem oblivious to customers trying to shop, which gets frustrating. I personally like Trader Joe's because I'm a single person household, and they have a lot of small packaged items that are perfect for me. I still appreciate that they have quite a few vegan and vegetarian friendly options, great snacks, some of the best prices on organic fruit, and, of course a fantastic wine selection and flowers. Prices have slightly increased, but you find that at all grocery stores lately. Things definitely add up! Their customer service is still pretty decent for the most part, and the parking lot can sometimes be a challenge. But overall, shopping here is just not what it used to be. read more

This is for the coffee NOT Trader Joe's ~ I LOVE this location! BUT I'm on the hunt for some great coffee options. After reading a few reviews I decided to try their bottled cold brew. It's not gross but also not a must have. I won't purchase again. BUT if you like what I called "souped up" coffee (other Ingredients added) this may work for you. As we were walking the "Beltline," we saw this TJ. Wanted to stop by to check it out and see if anything was different from our local TJ's. Quality/Quantity - Consistent. Sometimes a treasure hunt as they have many seasonal items. Part of the fun shopping here. I also like their local beer selections and their wine options. Atmosphere - Consistent with the brand. Enjoy the cool colorful artwork, see pictures. Open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm. Service - Good. Price - Reasonable priced. Everyday low prices. Not sure if they even have sales...? Even with this location PACKED on Thursday afternoon, I was able to get the best service from Zach! The employees at Trader Joe's are know for this hospitality and this visit was no different. I quickly ran in and grabbed the things I needed before I got lost in the crowd, then promptly left after a lovely check out experience. What can I say about Trader Joe's? Heck...I love coming to any of them. Trader Joe's has some of the lowest prices on a lot of the foods I would normally get from other grocery stores. I brought my sister in today after brunch. We discovered that Trader Joe's Impossible meat is a lot cheaper than the other stores. Not the mention they have a lot of other shelf items I have gotten that I don't see anywhere else. I love walking in and seeing the beautiful variety of flowers they have. Not to mention a very nice selection of wines. I did notice some of the wines I was getting for people have gone up a little. But it's still cheaper here. Decent selection, but parking is a little confusing because going out of the parking lot leads straight into oncoming traffic.

This is my go-to TJ's as I live in North Decatur/Druid Hills. Sometimes there is a little bit of rush hour traffic, but nothing that derails the rest of my evening. Somehow I have been lucky with the parking lately. In the early days of my visiting here, there would be no spots in the lot on the weekends so I would give up and leave. Other times, I accepted my fate of parking in the back lot by the other stores. This only works if you don't have a ton of bags to carry. I did bring the cart over one time, then had to trek back when I returned the cart. Despite the occasional logistical challenge, I'm usually able to find what I'm looking for at this location. The staff is always friendly and chatty with me. I know some people find that overbearing, but interactions like this make my day. read more

Worth a visit! We actually went there twice during our work in Atlanta. Side benefit-awesome pizza place across the parking lot! New ice cream place being built next door, too! So heads up, this store had the (hard- to near- impossible to find) Trader Joe's mini coolers in stock in red and green. Yay!!!! We did NOT empty the bin, but when we returned a few days later, we did buy a few more since they still had some. We got tubs of grapes, both red and green, jugs of water, the requisite omiyage snacks, and beef shepherd's pies (from the frozen section). We didn't get the precut watermelon that we normally get because they didn't look as fresh as usual, but those grapes were sweet and delicious! Everyone loved their omiyage, and we give four stars to their seasonal popcorns. The shepherd's pie went into the hotel fridge for food emergencies; it was "okay" and though we love shepherd's pie, we'd pass on a repeat purchase. It's a small serving and not that hearty. The store is bright and spacious with lots of stock. We will definitely return when back in Atlanta!!! The service was awesome! Super cool cashiers, for sure! Ample parking in the lot. If using a mobile app transport, beware, as the front of Trader Joe's appears to be their favored stop for this address of several businesses, and if you're at the pizza place, walk there or they won't find you. read more

This was an interesting journey to get to. It is my first time in Atlanta, and I like going to TDs in different cities. Picked up some water, kombucha, some tasty pumpkin spice mini pretzels, and a reusable bag that says "Atlanta." I have a collection of different bags from different cities, I know, I'm a nerd. LOL! The staff is really nice. Store is laid out well! The parking can be a chaotic zoo, and it doesn't matter which TDs you go to, anywhere, people still leave their carts in the middle of the aisle and/or hold conversations...LOL! read more

Staff is friendly! Plant section is great, though the Buckhead location sometimes has a better selection of household plants. Parking can be hairy, but don't let it deter you! I haven't bought the produce or fresh meat, but I can find favorites in the frozen foods aisles :-) read more

What can I not say about Tj's...? I love the variety of foods you can try. This is truly a diversified grocery store and I love it. As usual, I have a couple staple items that I must pick up from here. The service is fairly quick upon check out. I love how the staff at check out will sometimes casually suggest or mention a new item. It brightens my day. I do love the plant selection but I notice that when I bring my and a couple weeks have passed, my plants begin to die. Anyway, if anyone experiences the same issue, let me know if we should discontinue buying plants from Tj's. read more

This downtown TJ's is always crowded, but it is convenient and walkable by the beltline. I found the selection better than the nearby Whole Foods, and certainly the prices were better. The couple of times I've been there, I've had to wait in line but not for more than five minutes or so. You can't get everything under the sun at this little Trader Joe's, but you can definitely get in some quality shopping. read more

My first TJ visit was in Cali back in the day, then AZ for a few years. It wasn't until I moved from the West Coast down South where I got my fills of TJ's & at this store specifically. Back then I was not Yelping (the audacity MK), so how bittersweet amongst the Nautical Theme & all that I write this review. Circa 199ish, I've been shopping here. This store would also serve as my "lunch break" while I volunteered across the street at Grady HS. Never a bad experience here. My last shopping trip here was July 2012 before moving back to the DMV & I felt a little nostalgia in the air as I overloaded my cart. I stocked up family member's fridges for both of the upcoming holidays to avoid them having to get out in the unwelcoming mix of C-19. However, the welcoming & helpful crew of the Hawaiin Shirts always makes shopping & spending money enjoyable. TJ definitely offers unique products & prices anyone can afford. To the young crew of three that were posted up on the rails outside of the exit (they were in limbo from wrangling carts), I appreciate the assistance with the heavy boxes/bags & respect your honor in not taking any tips. I've been at Trader Joe's. I usually go about maybe every three months when I go to Atlanta and my daughter went and pick up some things for her and pick up something for myself. They have goat milk, which is really good. They have a lot of natural soldiers they have all kinds of vegetables and fruits. They got a lot of things that you could put in the microwave for like 10 minutes or five minutes and it's ready like that like cheeses. They have a lot of cheeses a lot of different breads and everything is fresh and I just heard recently read it recently and on telegraph and I'm making it that they was talking about coming here but now they don't change their mind. I don't know why I think The Mayor has something to do with it in his staff. It doesn't make no sense. Why not it should be in Macon as one of us one of the spots it should be in. We call this one club TJ's because during the pandemic, there was always been a line out the door waiting to get in. I am thrilled to be close enough to walk to this location, because the parking can be rough. Once inside, the staff is amazing and I love them. There is no longer a line outside, because they're not limiting the amount of people shopping. Prepare to wait in line inside now, because this store is always busy. One great benefit of the store being so busy, is that there's a bunch of turnover on the produce, so it's always super fresh. But that somehow doesn't mean anything is ever empty - the shelves are always stocked because the staff is incredible! The flower section can sometimes get a little picked over, but they really do a good job of keeping everything fully stocked. read more

I get it now. I truly see why TJ has such a cult fan base. Honestly, I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to make my way to Trader Joe's. There are a few around metro Atlanta, but this one is closer to my home. I went early in the afternoon and was able to find a parking space quickly. The store is small and it was fairly packed on the inside. It was my first time, so I made sure to bring a list of the items I heard about and wanted to try. I follow an awesome IG page called "blackgirlsintraderjoes" and they put me up on game so I didn't feel like a rookie. Of course everyone knows about their awesome wines, but I also picked up a few popular food items as well. Some of the items that I purchased were the fried ravioli, dark chocolate peanut butter cups, various seasonings, spring rolls etc. So far everything I've tasted has been good. The customer service was next level! They're definitely on par with chick fil a and Publix with the hospitality. read more

I was introduced to Trader Joe's grocery stores in West Hollywood, CA and I have to say the store here at the Atlanta Midtown Promenade far surpasses all the LA stores I went to in freshness, variety, supply and most importantly the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. Now the customers are the same as LA because they are oblivious to the other people around them and often create chaos when you are trying to get in and out smoothly with your groceries. The store is very clean, warm and inviting from the moment you walk inside. The parking lot at Midtown Promenade is usually quite busy so parking can sometimes be challenging due to the other highly patronized businesses there. Today there is tons of parking. read more

I'd recommend avoiding this location if you can. They're always out of stock of items or never stocked them to begin with. It's way too crowded even for a Trader Joe's and they simply don't seem to care. The actual location of the store makes little sense. Frankly it's probably the worst Traders I've been to and I've been to countless all over the country. Love the company, but this is a really lousy location. The one upside is the notoriously bad TJ's parking isn't so bad here - though that's probably because people know not to go. read more

The frozen food selection at this location is pretty solid. The staff are really friendly and the aisles are very clean. Some hot recommendations are the pineapple juice (not from concentrate) and the frozen lasagna. Trust. read more

This is my first time at Trader Joe's. I've always gone to Whole Foods. Well let me tell you that Whole Foods is in the rear view. An associate by the name oF Exevian accompanied me through the aisles which were super oorganized and super clean. He informed me that In this Establishment you can try virtually try anything before you buy it. I tried the smoked salmon with capers. It was delicious but too rich with cream for me today. Next I tried the Kale Gnocci which was sooooo good. The crew member Mareen was very pleasant and gave me a free bag for my first visit! They even rang a bell which I thought was cute. The bathrooms are gender neutral. They take apple play. They take ETB. They even donate food across the nation; nothing goes to waste here. This is my new spot for groceries. read more

This is my first time at this store and was able to get everything I needed (except everything but bagel seasoning which was sold out of course!). I was a little let down when I arrived to see there was a line to get in the store. I waited maybe 2-3 minutes so that wasn't bad at all. The line was much longer when I left around 6:00pm. This location seems to always be busy unless you probably come first thing in the morning. Aside from the line, I was able to find everything I needed. Great selection of produce, meats, and frozen food and of course wine! I even picked up a fresh green juice to try. I was extremely disappointed to see that the Argentinian shrimp was sold out from the frozen food section but decided to risk it and ask if there was anymore in the back considering that was the main thing I came for. A nice gentleman who worked there (Jerry) was standing nearby and I asked if there may be anymore shrimp. Without hesitation, he told me he would go check in the back. He came back with a box full and even came to find me to ensure I got some. That is what you call great customer service! This entire interaction made me want to come back to this store as I left a happy camper with 99% of everything I needed.
