Per the lease they can raise the unit rent anytime and any amount with 30 days notice- Your Rental Terms May Change with 30 Days' Notice. We may change your Monthly Rent, fees and charges, and any other terms of this Rental Agreement with 30 days' notice to you. We may send notice to your email address. By continuing to use Your Space, you agree to the Rental Agreement as changed and that all of its other terms remain in effect. I should have read the lease closely and walked away. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. The facility is fine. The employees have a pulse. Carts are never available. Again, find another facility. It's not worth it. read more

After only a few months of storage, my rental fee increased by over 28%!!! Expect a price increase every 6 months is what they said now. In another year or two I could rent a house for this price! They follow the most dishonest business practices that I have ever seen. First of all they never tell you that you have to have insurance. After they get your credit card then they disclose that there is an extra $15 monthly charge for the insurance. then after just about 6 months they start hiking the rent. I started from $75 (including insurance) and at this time, after 1 and half years my rent in $120 a month. They also force you to just when you are signing the contract, to write them a 5 star review in Google. That's why their google rating is good. Avoid them if you can. read more

Good property, great location. Facility in generally good shape from my perspective. However, I have noticed some problems with the facility entry being repeatedly damaged. This is worrisome. Quite honestly a terrible place to give your money. Manger needs to be fired and frankly should be arrested for stealing. I will start off by listing the good... Clean and well lit storage areas. Now for the bad: Extremely busy and no where to park. If you bring a uhaul in here, good luck to you if there is another Uhaul in there...which there always is. It's extremely crowded on a Saturday and even Sunday night I had a ton of people coming in and out. Also you can't turn left into the building or turn left out of it. It's not an easy location to navigate with a uhual that's for sure. After 2 months I was moving out. I spoke with someone who said I was all set and cancelled (6 days into the month) I asked for a partial refund and I was told I could not get one. The policy states 7 days you get a partial refund, any day after 7 you pay for the whole month. I was told to come in and talk with a manager. I went in to talk a manager, NOT THERE! (2nd time he wasn't there) I was told the manager would call me back. After a week of hearing nothing, I called the main Public Storage customer service number. They listed me as still active. I told them exactly when I cancelled, they told me they saw that in the computer, but that it was reopened? I told them I didn't need it or want it and I just wanted to pay for my 6 days and a refund for the remainder. She agreed but the manager needed to approve. She told me the Manger would call me the next day. Well after 4 days of hearing nothing, I called again and was told the manager wasn't there SHOCKER!!!!!! And that he would call me back. NOTHING 5 DAYS LATER. I contacted my credit card company and I am in the process of doing a charge back. I am going to be writing to the better business bureau over their deceptive THIEVERY and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this hell hole of a storage place. read more

The corporate headquarters customer service is spotty, 1 individual must of been tripping on something, by 3rd call found a knowledgeable professional. I found a good online deal, am pleased w/hours of operation, proximity to my residence and cleanliness. Beware - they quote no cameras except near elevators. read more

Very poorly managed. Couple of weeks ago, I went to get some of my stuff from storage after a few months. The elevator was not functioning - City/State regulators had banned it due to missed inspection. They never cared to inform their customers. Yes, the storage area is clean, but if you can't get a cart what does it matter? There is almost always a line to get a cart, complained to the office and they gave me some lame excuse for only having 3 carts available. This is the only storage place where I had to wait to get a cart or couldn't get one. They really don't care, they just want your money! Save yourself much frustration and go somewhere else! Chose this place because it is a convenient location, hours that it is open and the price was not bad. Price - Online prices are better than in store. But then when you go in they tell you, that you have to buy insurance and also a special type of lock for the unit. Wish I had know this, because I could probably have bought one much cheaper on amazon or home depot. Hours are great, but as others have mentioned there are never carts available and usually have to wait for someone in front of me to use it. It is especially annoying when moving companies use the carts and not their own. Overall good, but many ways to improve this place. read more

I will say that I was so put off by the inconsistency in fee's that I was quoted be the 800# for Public Storage that I was ready to walk out the door. However...........Linda and Brian helped me, thoroughly, they explained all of the charges and made suggestions that saved me money and gave me a larger unit than I expected. This location is SUPER WELL MANAGED, SUPER CLEAN, VERY WELL MAINTAINED. I have not had any issues with the carts, I normally arrive between 6 and 7pm after the office is closed and have no had to wait. I also looked at Burlington Self Storage, not as clean, and Storage Unlimited, sketchy and scary, in Burlington. Linda and Brian were the reason I rented space here and I am happy that I did. read more

There has been a steady decline in the quality of this location over the past year. There are no carts to move your stuff around because the local management says they get stolen. This location is well managed, clean and maintained. There are always plenty of carts available and I have not had any issues with the carts. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The drawback I have is the cost and pricing. They use the "bait and switch" tactic. Pay attention to what you are renting when booking online. Got a quote from them last week on a special promotion that only last 7 days. I needed a unit for a business and needed 24/7 access, the CSR told me to email the district manager (Mike) to ask for 24hr access. I emailed him on the same day I got the quote and received no response in 2 days! So I called the Woburn office to talk with Mike and they said he's not available and gave me his cell. I called his cell no answer so I left a message about our needs... Long story short they tried to con me into renting the unit without a guarantee of 24hr access. Mike never called or emailed me back, but I was getting daily calls about making a deposit on the unit. BAD management. read more

I currently renting from here and am extremely disappointed. I choose this facility for the convenience but it is anything but. There are never enough carts no matter what time of day I come. The office wi give you a cart if you give them your license but it is a mini cart. For a facility that must have about 400 units - three carts is not enough. Plus, I have tried to get one from the office three times during business hours and no one is in there. The girl who sold me the unit said I HAD to get insurance but when I read the contract - that was not true. Can't wait to empty our my stuff and stop giving them my money read more

I've been using this storage facility since May. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly, but my biggest problem is the lack of carts and how the management has dealt with it. This is a giant storage facility with a lot of traffic, and yet they only have two (2) carts for you to use. When we first got there in May, there were 4, but one went missing and another's handle broke off. The management has shown no interest in replacing the carts. I've gone into the office many times over the past 6 months and the staff tells me that they are ordering more carts, but clearly that is not true. They offer to let you borrow a tiny cart that they have in the office, which helps, but that doesn't help if the office is closed, and I've frequently found the office empty. My wife and I have resorted to bringing our own little dolly with us to move boxes in and out, but it is very inconvenient because it wastes space in our car and isn't as large as their carts. We often see other people carrying boxes since there are no carts to use. One of the benefits a storage facility is supposed to provide is carts. The last place I was at before moving to Woburn had over a dozen carts for people to use, and that facility was half the size as this Public Storage. If the management would just invest a small amount of money to get plenty of new carts for their customers, I think it would be great, but at the moment I can't recommend it. I'm currently planning on moving to a new facility in the spring if the cart situation hasn't been resolved. read more
