One night I stopped by to return my gear to find a woman living in a storage unit. Another evening I saw a man playing his radio and smoking a cigar on a couch!!! Are you kidding me! So I notified the manager through email and they said they would handle the issue. About 4 months after that, I stopped at my locker to find that my DJ equipment was stolen! Looked like they pulled it out from the top, because every locker has an opening at the top. You can literally stand on a box and see everything (through an opening that you can pull item out from) in the locker next door. I can't believe this has happened! They have cameras, but they can prove that stuff was mine. And they require you to use their shitty insurance provider that couldn't help me get my stuff back. Whats the point?! I moved my gear out of that business ASAP! I will continue to tell my Arvada neighbors and post on every review outlet about this horrible storage business. STAY AWAY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The manager, Megan, came by as I was clearing out the unit and stopped to talk to me. Megan pretended she was not the manager as she was watching watch I was pulling out of the unit which was thousands of dollars worth of tools. I told her I was going to need some more time, just a few hours, to clear everything out of unit. She said I would have to talk to the manager in the morning. When I arrived the next morning, the guy working there was not manager and told me Megan was the manager and she ordered me to be locked out and also said she had called someone to pick everything up. I was suppose to have 72 hours to clear everything out. I signed the papers with them 68 hours ago.

Love how they use local Street Name signs for the aisles! There's 3 levels of clean, shiny alleys with comfort from the air conditioning or heat during seasons. DOUBLE WIDE ENTRIES on 2 sides! OMG, this is another awesome feature, no struggling to bring in larger pieces and hop right on the elevator to your level and street ;-) With 24 hour monitoring inside the building the feeling of having my belongings as safe as possible brings a huge relief.

The management is slow to fix problems, which have included the building and elevator access system (down for weeks), broken elevators, and broken carts. My 10' X 10' unit was actually 8.5' X 10', and my monthly rental fee, which started in the $80's when I first moved in after the building was completed ballooned to $209, and after I vacated was going to increase to $235! They did give me a one-month break on my rent when the access system was down, but refused to lower my $209 monthly rate. I found the same size unit at StorQuest for $59/mo., saving me $150/mo.! My advice: Store your unit contents such that you can move out without too much pain & strain when the monthly rate becomes unbearable, which it will here.

This is what happened to us. We rented a small unit for about $109 a month and 2 months later we get a notice by mail stating that the cost would double, DOUBLE. It seems the establishment waited until we got all our stuff moved in before making the announcement to bend us over. We spoke to this "Ann" person who said it was out of her hands. Pretty typical, right? The odd thing is that on their website the lower rate is still there. We're vacating the unit but I think this game is common among storage rental facilities. We live in a society where price gouging happens everywhere. Go to any grocery store or clothing store, heck, go to a thrift store and price gouging happens everywhere but a storage unit?
