They are the Best and I definitely recommend them! The property manager went above and beyond and I'm so impressed!! Everything was fast getting a storage unit and fast closing it! I'm so grateful:) read more

Rented a unit for $271 in January 2025. This was not a special offer, I made sure of it before renting and passed on other units to get the real price. 5 months later they raised my rental to $469 because they know it will cost me a lot of money to move. This is extortion, not commerce. Do not rent from them unless you can afford a $200/month increase. read more

Was renting here since March when they decided to increase the rent by $50 with zero explanation. Left messages asking to be called about it and never got a response. Found a newer storage unit elsewhere for cheaper than the original price here. Upon move out discovered they power washed without warning and ruined our belongings. Was told we could file an insurance claim. Upon researching their claim procedures you have to have receipts for your items and pay a $100 deductible. Such BS! read more

Gobi is Awesome! She helped me today with a payment and was very friendly and knowledgeable...thanks

So far, not so good. Everything is online and very little customer service. They booked me at the wrong location, spent hours trying to move it to the right one. No manager on site to help. Very frustrating experience. But! Spoke to the manager of the 4th plain location. He was great. Too bad that's not the location I wanted. Finally got in my unit, but would not recommend. Look for a smaller place with a manager onsite. read more

I have called them over the course of the almost 2 years of having a unit around 100 times and have only been able to speak with somebody once on the phone and every single time I show up there to speak with somebody at the desk the doors are locked, but their vehicle is there. I leave a message and never get a response as well as they have increased their rates almost 75% of what I started at definitely look into this business before using them. I hate to slander the company but I've just had the absolute worst time. read more

Had such a great experience coming in! Super friendly and sweet employee when I came in just now! This is the first time I rent a storage unit so I'm so very grateful she showed me and told me everything I needed to know! The deals they have online are unbeatable and the storage unit that was given to me was well-kept. I absolutely love that there is an app and how easy it is to get access to the gate through the app. Such great value! read more

Gail was absolutely amazing and so helpful she deserves a raise

I desperately needed a small closer sized space to store a few things for awhile after I moved to Washington recently, as I travel between Utah and Washington 2 or 3 times ac year. The place I am staying is small and temporary with no closets for storage. I was skeptical of public storage, as I assumed it would be too costly for a simple storage unit. I was browsing thier website and found a 5x5 unit for only $1 for the first month and only$48 each month thereafter. It was extremely affordable. I registered immediately, so as not to lose the price! Then i drove to the location and met Gail and she was amazing! She answered all of my questions with knowledgeable responses, Correct the mistakes I had made on my reservation, which were many due to the rush I had encountered. Then she went as far as to be so kind as to treat me like an old friend. We talked for awhile about many different topics, as I Am not familiar with Washington, we discussed weather and similar topics. Gail made me feel so comfortable and eased my concerns quickly. Thank you Gail!It was such a pleasure to meet you and I really enjoyed the conversation! The unit was very clean and everything is so modern and well kept, nor like many other privately owned storage places.! 5 star rating for Public Storage for making such ac modern, clean facility. 10 starts for Gail, just for being absolutely wonderful!!! Highly highly recommended... read more

I started using this service almost seven years ago to store my parents things. Rent was $100/month for a 10x15 unit. We have seen increases almost every year since then to the new price now of $350/month. This is after they removed the locks on the outer doors and decided not to replace them (lowering security on the units). These places have next to no upkeep and I'm not sure how they can justify any rate increase. There is no heating. Lights are only on when a timer is set. It's important to know there is no regulation for this industry anywhere (which is odd considering after 9/11 there was so much concern for people storing weapons, etc and people using them for meth labs - unless that was all media hype). I encourage anyone who is looking to rent one of these spaces to look into alternatives. You could easily get stuck in a situation where you're paying a ridiculous amount for very little in a location that is not as secure as it looks. read more

fantastic service when I didn't know where to go or how it was set up the nice lady at the front desk made it beyond easy for me

Place was easy to find and fairly cheap. I did all my transactions online so all I had to do was show up with my junk.

Good luck getting a hold of the property manager. Four messages left and no response. Also, has not been in the office either.

What a ripoff! First, they required me to purchase their lock, I wasn't given an option to use my own. Then, the account was supposed to be set up for auto pay, which didn't happen. They nailed me with a $20 dollar late fee and a snarky employee. Finally, I vacated on the last day of the month and now, they say I owe them an additional $3.06. This is one sleazy company and I will never do business with any Public Storage facility again. read more

I really appreciate the person that checked me in getting my first storage unit she is the kindest lady ever and I give her a five star review read more

I would have started this review with 'Clean', but the app wouldn't let me. It was a no contact start that went off without a hitch. The unit was spotless and just what I asked for. I recommend Public Storage. read more

Don't like that I have to get out of my car to use the gate code upon entering and leaving. Also unit's are very musty smelling and I didn't see anywhere to dispose of trash. read more

While the manager was very courteous and professional, the facilities are not up to par. The gate panel for entering your entrance code used to beep when you pressed a button so you know you were entering the numbers correctly. But now it makes no noise so you don't know if you've pressed hard enough for the number to register. When you're standing out in the rain (and yes, you have to exit your vehicle to enter your number) wondering if you entered your number correctly or not, it can be frustrating. I've rented at Additional Self Storage on East Burton and that was a wonderful experience compared to this place. The storage unit was very musty smelling. I placed two desiccants inside the unit and within a couple weeks they had accumulated a couple cups of water. I know moisture is to be expected in the NW but these units seem to hold the moisture inside and leave things smelling very musty. The light was also broken upon arrival. They were supposed to replace the bulb before I moved in but they forgot. Once I reminded them, I discovered that the light switch was broken and the light would always remain on. I was concerned about the possibility of fire hazard but they wouldn't fix the switch. Eventually that light burned out so I had to work in the dark. I didn't care to see trash (old mattresses, junk and other items) left behind by previous renters laying around the property. When I called to get a pro-rated bill because I was moving out in the middle of the month, I was told they can't prorate unless you move out within the first 6 days of the month. Some excuse about how their computer system doesn't let them prorate beyond the 6th day of the month. Complete BS to me. So if you are moving out in the middle of the month, you still have to pay a full month's rent. I will not be using this company again. read more

I have had the worse experience ever the lady on the front desk lied to my face and told me there is no way you can rent a unit if you do not pay insurance and purchase there lock, also I could not get online access for 4 months. Finally I was able to have access to my online account and I come to find that I have been paying for insurance for no reason I only have a dresser and night stands! why would I have to pay insurance for that? I have been trying to resolve this and have gotten no answer. read more

I have recently moved out of this facility due to the rate increases over the last few years. However, I have received 2 in the last 8 months!!! The last one I received at the end of May was the last straw. Overall, the property was always clean, although there seemed to always been something broken, like the security gate recently. The property manager assured me that the gate would be fixed soon, but it took more than a week it seemed. I'm not really sure, since I don't access my storage every day. I will say that the property manager there is one of the nicest guys ever. The entire staff is incredibly nice and professional. I stayed as long as I did, because the staff is amazing, and I have always appreciated the way they do their job. I assume they pay their employees well to have such good quality people at the facilities. Just my opinion. I have recently rented a new storage unit down the street at Iron Gate, and while the staff doesn't seem quite as outgoing as Public Storage, the facility is way way nicer. Brand new gate system, and security cameras everywhere. They even have flat bed carts for customer use at the facility, something that Public Storage did not have in the 10 years I stored there. Overall, I was pleased with my stay the Public Storage, and I loved the managers there. I just wasn't blown away with the property itself. Their fees and rate increases are a little much, but if I had to use storage in a pinch, I would go back. read more

Personally, this is the first time I have ever rented a storage unit but I have had friends and family members use this location. Also, having had been here before (helping them) I thought the place was kept up and the units were clean. I arrived for my appointment and went into the office. The manager, Jeremy whom I had just talked to on the phone was very nice. He was very helpful in helping me decide on the unit size. He showed me the unit and how to work the lock. We went back to the office to finish paperwork and get the keys. When you deal with the public its so important to be friendly and personable and that was Jeremy. read more

Easy to get to location. Very helpful and accommodating staff. In and out with a new unit, lock and insurance.

I had booked a storage unit elsewhere, but when I showed up to confirm my reservation the office was closed! Frustrated, I drove down the street to Public Storage. The employee I met there was beyond helpful and understanding, his customer service really turned my day around. read more
