They are receiving 3-stars because while the facility is kept clean and the staff are friendly, they raise the rates every Jan with only 30-day notice. I'd been with them 5 months and they raised my rate. I just received my second rate increase notice in the 1.5yrs I've been using their services. I'm pretty sure they used the same notification letter both times. I am looking at other storage facilities. At a time where everything is increasing in cost, this annual increase shows the value isn't in keeping customers.

They won't do anything for you if your stuff is broken into and robbed. The locks they sell are crap and evidently are super easy to break open, and Insurance won't even cover what it has cost us to store our stuff, let alone the value of our stuff. Go somewhere else, this place is not secure at all. After reading other reviews over the last few months it appears that many people have had their stuff stolen, that the door codes were broken and the doors have been just left open to anyone for months and vagrants and homeless have been making themselves at home inside the facility, and no one who keeps there stuff there were notified. They say there is "video surveillance," but they won't "see anything" on the videos when you get robbed. I'm sure it was an inside job, we have proof. The metal above our unit was broken for weeks before we were notified. Don't put anything you value in there! Also, don't use their lock. Their lock doesn't work with their doors and can be popped right out. If you have anything of value in there move it now! This place is not secure Edit: I'm adding pics of other broken units so if yours is in these pics I recommend you go check your unit and see if you were also robbed. They won't notify you.

I drove in and Joe was inside my boat going through the drawers and all my things were spread out all over the place. He told me that I "left a light on" and that he was "just trying to turn if off." I took my trailer and boat home with me and I ended up taking it to Chinook RV storage in Portland off Marine Drive. I cannot recommend renting any of the units in the 48 year old garage style buildings. I have…read morerented 2 10x20 units for 14 years. I have always paid on time and kept the grounds near my units trash free. For the last 3-4 years I've been complaining that my doors are not working right or sticking. They send someone to repair, but it's always a "bandaid". The turn over for office personnel is such that no one knows the issues I've had and the district manager advised she was unaware. Recently the iron frame work for my units garage door pulled away from the cinder block. They had someone come out and put a few bolts in, but he never did anything about pulling the iron frame flush to the cinder block. Another tenant should me how a couple of large "C" clamps would do it. The office staff knew but district claimed no one told her. I keep hearing excuses about the age of the building, but they are charging 2024 prices. I could go online and rent the exact same units for $20 less? This is really poor customer service. I'm gone by the end of this month. I cleared one of 2 units. They moved in a tenant that spends days parked in front of the unit with door pulled down to a 1 foot gap from the ground. With his dog. Not actively moving in or out. Office staff says thus is "Ok". If you rent a newer indoor unit, place looks good. But outside? Watch out for pine cones all over the place.
