My sister and I came to this Public Storage by accident. We were actually driving to the Foothill location and ended up at this location instead. I must say, I've never been happier to make such a mistake! When we got to the location, we were greeted by a young man named Alex. He was so helpful and walked us through all we needed to know and even helped us unload a really heavy box from the trailer. The facility was very clean and felt really comforting. Pretty upset that wasn't able to get inside my unit because for some reason the gate was " offline see the manager " oh really how the heck was i going to do that when no one was available?? what the heck is wrong with you guys. Seriously you guys have some one I'm assuming a Manager that lives on-site why weren't they available? This is completely unacceptable I know the hours are from 8-6pm and the gate closes at 9pm so my question is why didn't you guys schedule appropriately to accommodate a customer that wants to access his unit that he pays over a 100 bucks a month!! I am a returning Public Storage customer to this location. It is clean, safe, secure and well lit. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Their insurance options were actually cheaper than my renters policy and more conveniet. Also, the "auto pay" option ensures that the rent is paid on time, every time, no matter how busy life gets. However, on this return visit Linda was a super star, going above and beyond to provide great service. I had reserved a unit on line which was larger than I needed, as pointed out to me by Linda. She went out of her way to make sure my storage needs were met at a price that fit my budget. In an effort to save me money and erase any doubts, she actually walked me to several smaller units and allowed me to measure the interior to find one that would accommodate my largest item before writing the contract. So far, so good! I'm happy with this public storage. I have only had a storage unit there for 2 months, but my mom used this place for about 2 - 3 years and she had no problems either! The people that work here are very nice and want to do everything they can in their power to give you the best deal and options. They try to make your move as easy as possible with moving supplies both for sale in the office like boxes and tape..and they also have stuff like dollies and these big rollie carts to move some of your stuff. They only have 2 or so in the office, so if it's busy, you may have to lug your stuff up to your unit the hard way. Security is pretty good here. You have to have a special code to get in and out of the premises. You also have to have a code to get the elevator to work as well. It's right by the freeway and cheaper than the other public storages in the area. Last but not least, the storage units inside are pretty good. There are automatic timers inside to keep it lit up nice. There are no lights inside the storage units, so if you have a bigger unit, you may want to bring a flashlight to look around. It does tend to get a little confusing once your inside the building because everything looks the same when you walk around. I got lost in there once and got a little scared. :) With that said, don't go alone if you're a scardie cat like me because it's super quiet and creepy in there sometimes. :) Oh...and there are sprinklers inside the storage units to drench your stuff incase there is ever a fire in there! read more

I originally rented storage at another place in Sunland but after driving from San Francisco to that storage place nothing was working. No one was on the property. So I went over to Public Storage down the street and the service was a 100% better plus they have mangers that live on the premises. Linda was terrific with her attitude and friendliness. Public Storage has their act together. I recommend this location and Public Storage. Just all-round more efficient and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend this location. and recommend Linda as she was very helpful and efficient. read more

I was SO sure I could get everything in a smaller unit & she politely suggested that it might be too small, then showed me the unit I thought I wanted. She was right - too small! Linda was a very nice and professional employee, walk through was great and clean, rates were great and it looked clean. I continued going to my unit every week and there was slow bugs beginning to nest in my belongings within one week, and after three weeks my unit was infested with termites and no one will call me back after I leave complaints. Very unsatisfied, if there are this many termites in my unit how am I supposed to know the rest of the building isn't infested? After I began leaving complaints, workers other than Linda began to become extremely rude and short tempered with me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE FACILITY TO ANYONE. read more

Don't fall for their "internet rate" scam! It's a giant scam. They lure you in with a low rate. Then once you get your stuff in the unit, they hit you with a 25% rate increase in the first six months! Imagine if your land lord raised your rates by 25% every six months! Or if your phone carrier raised your rates by 25% every six months. But they are counting on the idea that it will be too hard for you to move your stuff, and you'll just pay it. DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!
