We have had this storage facility for 1 and 1/2 year now and rates have more than doubled. We started paying right at $100 a month and my most recent $175 : month just got raised again to $209 / month. I know inflation was up 21% under Biden's 4 years but we're back to 3.8%. Overall I'd say it was a pretty experience. I placed a reservation on Sunday. But I did not finish filling out the form. Got a call early the next day. The clerk was doing a follow-up to make sure everything was good to go. Told him I'd be in the following morning to take care of it. I wasn't able to be on schedule but very patient. When I arrived he understood that I was pressed for time we expedited the process pretty quickly. Took a quick look at the unit. Installed my lock. They uploaded my renters insurance quickly. I think the only problem I had was with the app. I had previously utilized public storage at another unit a year ago and the system would not allow me to use the previous account information and I had to create a new account completely. I give five stars to the attendants at the location. And two stars for the IT people that created an app that cannot be adjusted to fit someone with previous history. read more

I can't say enough about the staff. I can't recall her name but I can only assume she was the manager. She has amazing customer service! She worked to change my storage unit when I obviously underestimated how much space I needed. She arranges everything in a matter of minutes and the moving crew was not held up at all. An additional note, she was off the clock when she was helping me. Such a good person and such a great experience. I will never do business with anyone else but Public Storage locations as long as they keep hiring people like this. read more

Security seems to be a little bit better here than some of the other storage places I use in other cities.

Completely satisfied with the front staff...very professional and courteous. She spelled everything out to make sure I knew all of the rules/rates. She walked the campus with us to make sure we knew where the unit was and all of the security codes. I don't rent storage units much, but I definitely think this is as good as it gets (for not climate controlled units). read more

Update November 2020: This place has gone down hill since new property employee moved in. This place is not secure as it used to be I would not trust my stuff here anymore. Place have become too lenient, Current property Employee that moved in is mean and blames you for parking on line even though the one beside is the one being over. Then has the tendency to believe a the tenant that parked wrong and thing it is the other one even though I know them and won't listen to any explanation and wants to be right. Won't even read the notes on the profiles as it seems it is too hard for them. Have had to go to the district manager to get things situated even though past 5 years there has not been any issues. So since she has moved in it just been worse and worse than what it used to, you could previously know that this place was safe but now anyone enters even without a code as they will tailgate in and employee won't care. Others could cause issues but you are blamed for it even though they have been over their line, they would find an excuse just so they could be mean to you without any reason. So can't trust this place any more until someone else takes over and be a real property manager and makes everything run better again and safer but right now I would not recommend this anymore. Review from 2015 to 2019: This storage location has been the best I've been to and at first it started off just good but became better after Nancy took over. Before Nancy there used to be problems with gate getting stuck and having to assist on it getting back on rails. But when Nancy many changes has been great gate was fixed. Storage looks great and many of the dirty of the storage has been removed. No more having to drive there and see dirty storages. I've stopped looking elsewhere as would rather drive to here then be closer to home because of how great the service has been. read more

"So I gotta tell 'ya about a certain someone and, not just anyone, but someone named, "Nancy"!! Words describing how I was treated regarding my visit from yesterday summed up in 1 short sentence?? "Superior of the highest quality & nothing less"!! She's outstandingly professional, remarkably informative & gives you the impressionable sense of knowing your belongings will be safely guarded. I can't post without a star review but this should IS A ZERO STAR POST. Public Storage at 888 Eldridge RD. I strongly do not recommend. When our lock was damaged, not by us, we were refused or delayed now for months to have access to our own business unit. We've been lied to, run around, lied to again, treated like we are at fault, all while not making it possible for us to enter our unit. We were told to get a locksmith. We were told the manager would have to come from California to take out the lock and that he'd already come that month and it would be the next month before he was back. We were told a locksmith couldn't do it without papers being signed. We were told I had to be present in any event when it was replaced... all to go today with a locksmith meeting me there and find out they not only didn't call me, but changed it without me being present and for all I know entered my unit while I have never been late or missed a payment. They wonder why after months of no access to items important to my business I'm mad that I had to pay but have been illegally denied access to my own property for my Business!!!!! Wow. Don't use them. read more

My worse experience at this location. I paid a prorated rate for my storage unit and mentioned to the property manager, Greg, I'll use my own lock. But when I got to my unit the next night with a truck load of supplies, there was still a Public Storage lock on there. Instead of apologizing for the issue, Greg claimed it was company policy to have a lock at all time. When I asked why he didn't informed me of this when I was at his office to pay, he didn't have an answer. I told him to remove the lock on my unit so I can go there to unload my truck. But here I am at my unit at 1pm and the lock is still there. He's out to lunch. Unbelievable! read more

The overall customer service was great but this location is trash!! I moved my stuff out of here due to rat droppings all over my boxes, it was infested with spiders, and just down right disgusting. I can't believe I left my stuff in those conditions. I now have to take my car to get bombed because of the baby spiders. read more

Let me start by saying I've never used a storage facility before this experience, so maybe this is typical, but if you're new to this like I was, this info could be helpful. I was there for 2 years. Staff was very nice. Price went up after 6 months. When I went to empty my unit, many surfaces were covered rat feces. Boxes on the bottom were sporadically wet from what I assume was urine. The boxes that had crumbled from the urine, had dead roaches in them. I ended up throwing away two boxes of items and a small shelf. My advice to anyone considering this facility would be to only store metal items that can be cleaned and to use totes rather than cardboard boxes. Bring gloves when you go to get anything! read more

Renting storage is never my favorite thing to participate in. I have rented at this location before with no issues and also nothing to brag about. This time was different, Nancy was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I called late in the day to rent the unit and was heading over there to find on my way that our trailer had been stolen the night before. Filing police report and all caused me to be multiple hours late, on a Saturday at that. Nancy waited for us to get there, made sure we got moved in, helped directing traffic and opening gate for large items. She made sure we were informed of the security codes, registered online, took a pic of gate info, etc.Some of those things may have been the things in her job description but she went well above and beyond that even. We had not eaten that day, which Nancy overheard and brought us these amazing little coffee cakes. I had been crying and she gave me a big ol' hug and offered so many solutions. I am super impressed. My husband & I are very touched and cannot express enough gratitude. She made the experience so effortless and easy. read more
