I was told it was only needed as a backup in case anything happened. At the time, I was in a tough situation and needed to move quickly. On the scheduled move day--a Friday--my job had an unexpected delay with my paycheck, and I wouldn't be paid until Monday. That had never happened to me before. I thought everything would be okay since they already had my bank information. I called them right away, explained the situation, and asked if they could simply withdraw the payment from my account, since by the time it processed, the money would be there. They refused. Instead, they said I had to pay with a debit or credit card that same day or cancel--and if I canceled, I'd be charged a cancellation fee. I was shocked. Given my situation, I was practically begging them to just use the bank information they already had. I even spoke with a manager, who told me I had to cancel and that they would charge my bank account for the cancellation. That made no sense to me--they could use my bank account to charge a cancellation fee, but not for the actual service? Then Monday came--and they didn't take the cancellation payment. Weeks went by, and I assumed at that point they would send me a bill. Instead, without any notice, they suddenly withdrew the money--right when I was again just days away from payday. I was already living paycheck to paycheck, and this pushed my account into the negative and caused overdraft fees. I called every number I could find for Two Men and a Truck to try to resolve this, but no one was able to help me. I don't expect charity. But everyone goes through hard times, and if a company already has your bank information and plans to charge you anyway, why not work with the customer instead of putting them in a worse situation? To me, it felt like they just wanted to get paid without doing the work. The cancellation fee was just 160, and all of these months later it still bothers me. Thank God i'm in a much better place, and it's not about the amount, it's about the lack of care. I had heard for years about two men and a truck. I thought they were reputable people. But I was wrong. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Already happened twice where you had vehicles on both sides trying to enter and leave at the same time. So can cause a inconvenience if you're in a hurry. Second thing that is likely just needing to be looked at, is the exit connection signal from the app. I can never get the app to connect to the exit control BUT if I get close to the gate, it connects to the enter connection again allowing me to open the gate to leave with the enter option. Hopefully this gets looked into at least and fixed.

Of course after numerous calls and not getting to speak to a live person, or that live person talking over you, dropping the call or transfering you to the wrong department I was absolutley fed up. There's nothing worse than going through the struggle and stress of moving and having to depend on storage facility only to have that same facility treat you like dirt. Knowing that they can because you are at their mercy. Fortunately I was blessed to be transfered to Lamar's voicemail. The one individual in this company that seems to have morals, decency and an actualy work ethic. He not only called me back within minutes but he allowed me to vent. He advised he would forward my issue the district manager which I was not very confident in. In less than an hour Lamar called me back to tell me my issue was resolved. Lamar went above and beyond when no one else would even do the basics. And for that I am eternally grateful.
