Always friendly when callinf, extremely clean probably the cleanest i have ever been in.

Very disappointed in their business practice of increasing the rent just before the first automatic billing payment. I rented a unit in December and paid 4-months in advance at $72/month, plus a mandatory insurance coverage, which I was told could be canceled after the first month if I contacted them. I recently received two notices for a rate change in the mail the same day. One stated that the price would increase to $89/month and the other stated $144/month. They can't even make up their mind how much they want to jack up the rate. It looks like I will be relocating to Remington Storage in Hernando across from Citrus Hills. It is much easier to get in and out of Remington Storage with a utility trailer. read more

I am very disappointed in this company. I rented a unit in April and less than 3 months later I get a notice that my monthly rate will be increasing by 25%. I've read other reviews that say this is pretty common with Extra Space Storage. I called and was told they reevaluate pricing every 3 to 4 months. Getting a price increase like this after only 2 months seems like a bate and switch on low pricing. Watch out if you rent from them as prices may increase faster than you think. read more

I have had a great experience here. I was able to get a storage area immediately. The phone and in-person employees are great. When I went in to visit Extra Space Storage the young lady working was extremely kind and informative. She showed me the different sizes of storage areas and when I chose one she escorted me to my exact area. The facility is very clean and easy to get in and out of. I love the platform dollies that you can use to get to your storage area. read more

I rented one unit for seven months to storage garage and home items. The place was clean and temperature controlled. It was easy to unload and move items on their dollies up the elevator and to the storage unit. All interactions with the manager was very friendly and always completed the transactions. Overall it was a good experience. read more
