Unfortunately the movers- who are shown on my ring camera in florida loading 49 boxes & a new Christmas tree... & multiple other items . When they rapidly unloaded my boxes I was assured everything was delivered . However.. The ring camera- when they DELIVERED my items shows very clearly - they were short 3 large boxes & 1 small box & my new $500 Christmas tree. I lost irreplaceable family items, meaningful things . When I noticed the missing items- I was told "I am sorry. You have our word we will find your stuff". Guess what? They never did. I had basically over 4 thousand dollars worth of my belongings either stolen or delivered to the other family's home . I lost my husband ... prior to the move and now irreplaceable meaningful belongings were just taken from me. And guess what? Their promises of "we will find your items"... were empty words. My advice- use any other mover . You don't want to be in my situation, I wish I had used any other moving service . I reserved an appliance dolly over the phone .When I went to pick up the appliance dolly on Friday…read moreOctober 4th I was told I needed to email address in order to rent from U-Haul, when I refused to give out my email the girl behind the counter insisted she wouldn't rent to me without email. I told here I wasn't going to argue with her and that she did not need my email address to rent me an appliance dolly. I said if you don't want to rent me the dolly I guess I can go somewhere else. She tossed my driver's license back at me and said she wasn't going to rent the appliance dolly to me. I called U-Haul and filed a complaint. The customer service person called the store and the U-Haul clerk said I cursed at her which I did not! The U-Haul store has plenty of surveillance it wouldn't be hard to verify my story! I live in Virginia and am in Leesburg Florida to pack up my deceased mothers house. It's a hard enough job with out having to deal with this extra hassle. I guess U-Haul thinks this is acceptable behavior.
