An update to my last review - I was finally able to speak to someone (called their corporate number) about my billing issue. Apparently I wasn't the only one with this issue, and they fixed the issue immediately, and gave me a credit. I'm not quite ready to give them more than 3 stars because of the poor customer service at a local level. Also, I got a nastygram a month or so ago from them saying that I had been on their property after normal business hours, which most definitely wasn't the case. They close at 9 pm, and I was at a restaurant at 8:30 that evening. I think they hadn't reset the time on their monitoring system for Daylight Savings. I tried calling them about it, and, you guessed it, no answer and no reply to my messages. So once this property improves their local customer service, then I'll bump up my rating. read more

I rented a 5x10 storage locker here for the past four years and am getting ready to move it all to a different facility with another company. Firstly, my rent has increased from $100 to $168 (all-in with taxes) over the time I've been renting here. This seems to be above-average rent growth and part of the "game" of PS hiking rents and people generally sucking it up and paying the higher rates, rather than going through the hassle of moving all their stuff out to another storage place. Secondly, there is constantly some type of animal feces on our things. Not sure if it's mice or lizards or what, but nothing seems to get done about it even with multiple mentions about this problem to the management office. On the plus side, it's easy to get in/out of, never had a hard time getting a cart, and the temperature control seems to work well as nothing got musty/moldy or broke down from heat. However, the fact that's it's difficult to speak to someone in person because of their limited office hours, the stuff rent increases, and a lack of animal control knock this facility down to 2 stars for me. read more

I have had a 10 x 15 unit for 2 1/2 years. my rent has increased 100 each year. I mean are you kidding me??? I started at 286 and it is now 456. I called to speak with a manager or supervisor and they just push everything aside. I understand inflation like maybe $20-$50 but $100 rent increase???????? I am now moving out of that unit into an almost sea size one for 200 month just down the hall. Im so fed up with charges, but like the units. On the bright side, they are very clean, temp control is good for Florida, and it is about 1/4 mile from home which makes it very convenient for me. otherwise I would look somewhere else. They also cannot tell you where in the bldg the unit is or which biding it is in. Nobody is EVER in the front office at my location so you cannot speak to anyone and have a business relationship with anyone. Rude customer service and no help what so ever. do your homework and read reviews and check before renting. Ask when the rent is going to go up. they have the right to look into it only 3 months after you move in!!!!!!! The rent and lack of customer service is my main complaint. raising rent during covid 100 per month was price gouging at its best. Beware. read more

Besides not having enough carts available, no one available most often, not answering their phones or returning messages I am assessed late fees each month even though I make my payments on time. My bank says that each time I make a payment it is recalled by Public Storage. The Public Storage service department says the only way that could happen is if my Zip code is wrong and refuses to look further. I have checked and rechecked verifying my zip is correct. I even reloaded my card and bank information to assure it is correct. However, Each month when I finally get to speak with a live body they process my card with no problems. However they again try to sell me on auto pay and assess the late charges. I have used other Public Storage locations over the years, this is the worst run location I have used. read more

Lisa who is the Property Manager at the North Palm Beach location is amazing. She was very accommodating from the day I first stepped foot into her office until I emptied out my unit. She was very thorough and provided great customer service. I never had any issues with my unit and I know that I will be back in the future for sure. read more

No one at the facility for 3 days to help with a first time renter. Sliding doors to the facility were stuck open. Climate control was at least 85 degrees. I'm new at this but so far, not impressed. read more

The stalls are nice and the place is clean, only reason I stayed. The customer service is terrible, can rarely speak to someone and there is never anyone there in person in the office. They raised my rent 50 dollars a month first year then another 100 next year. They can do what they want. Nobody ever available to talk to on site or on phone. Beware of extra charges. There was also water damage in my unit , may want to get insurance which I didn't have. read more

Full disclosure it was a call center I spoke to , not the local operation. However..... the call center was pushy, rude, treated me like I am ignorant, would not listen to my questions, and audibly laughed at me. I asked to speak to another representative or a supervisor and she said she could not transfer me. I simply asked what her largest storage space was and the cost. I clarified it was for household goods. From there she proceeded with a litany of questions. I asked her to simply answer my questions..... but she got very rude. She hung up. Little did she know I own one of the highest rated storage units in Las Vegas so I know good service. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor, never got a call back. Called Cube Smart... has a fantastic experience!!! read more

Seems pretty odd to raise ALL THEIR PRICES when Hurricane Irma hit. $62/mo to $75/mo. Then a special number for those people to call. Integrity after a hurricane shows it all. Good to know!! Raise your rates directly after a hurricane is rude! read more

Fair price for a clean climate controlled unit. I rented for almost a year and I'm satisfied. No complaints.

This location has the worst staff and the most ridiculous policies. Apparently, a reservation only reserves your price but not an actual unit. After having a mover scheduled, packed and transported ti the facility, I arrived to find out the ground level 10x10 I had reserved was not available!! The inly reason I made this reservation was to have a ground floor entry. So, i can tell you firsthand, they do not understand the concept of a 'reservation'! Apparently they call a price guarantee a reservation ! The staff is rude and useless. Go somewhere else!!!! read more

Nice clean secure facility, but if you rent, you must understand that they will REGULARLY RAISE YOUR RENT, WITH NO CEILING AND NO CONSIDERATION FOR LONG TERM RENTERS. When they raise the rent a substantial amount, ask about empties near your current spot and move to the cheaper one. By moving, you can save $250-$300 per year, nice pay for a morning's work. read more
