They think that, since all the wealthy people from other States moved in the area, they will PRICE GOUGE us. I've used this Public Storage for the last 4 years and the price has gone up considerably. Especially after COVID. Most recently they've raised my storage price another $100. Mid contract mind you. I didn't know they could do that, especially mid contact. This location is absolutely ridiculous with their current prices, but they don't care. Someone from out of State will come in right behind you and pay this horribly inflated price.There are other things they've done throughout the past years that I don't agree with. But that's another rant. I'm out, never again will I use Public Storage. read more

The facility looks very nice, and is clean and well-maintained. Therefore, I was quite elated when I found reasonable prices online. However, when I tried to book at those prices, I was told that despite the fact that it specifically said the unit I was looking at was available online at that location at that price, no such unit was available. Did I want to change locations? No. Now, units at a much higher price were available at the same size and location in the building. So, reluctantly, I agreed to the higher price. I was told I would receive an email and would have to book online through the email. Fine. The following morning, I looked for and found the email that had been sent the previous day and attempted to book online. No dice. I called Public Storage and was told the reason is because they sent the email the previous day, and that's the only day for which I had that price guarantee. Unfortunately, no one from Public Storage told me I had to book that day. I again inquired about availability of the same size storage unit, again, upstairs with elevator access. Oh, there was one available, at an even higher price. I was professional on the phone, but, nevertheless upset with how I was being treated. I explained that to the representative, who was very nice. To my great surprise and delight, a lower priced unit was suddenly available. I did book that unit, and have been happy with it, but remain concerned about company policy and procedure when it comes to booking in view of what happened to me. read more

Awful! I live close to property and went there 3 times to talk to somebody in person but there was not anybody. Called on the phone and to take a payment there is no wait but to talk to somebody about new reservation I was passed from person to the other and wait and wait. Finally I had tobdo everything online I paid for things (like lock) that I didn't have to pay because I already have one from Public Storage. Now I have 2 locks, one too many. Customer service is horrible and pretty much not existent and paying on line forces you to pay for stuff you don't need. Awful!! It's the only company close to my house so I had no choice but to use them but if you can use somebody else better, don't hesitate. read more

Called and keeps getting voice mail, no one is ever in the office. The hours on the site are incorrect. They said arrive 30 minutes before business close of day and no one is in the office. I just canceled my reservation/storage. read more

Stay away from Public Storage! I have had a 5 x 10 unit since 2020 and they have raised their rental prices close to 30% EVERY year for the past 3 years! It has tripled since I started. This gouging is ridiculous! I have had a storage unit in Maine where I'm from for the past 7 years that is 3x the size and has only been raised once, at only 15%! And they don't even notify you that it's going up, they just charge your account without a word. I am going elsewhere. read more

I Have been having way too many problems with this storage location. The manager Connie never fails to leave me scratching my head and saying to myself Wow , I can't believe you still have a job here!!! I had to notify the BBB of the poor and reckless treatment that I have been recieving for the past 4 months. I have since learned that Public Storage is so bad that they are not accredited by the BBB. My bank was great at retrieving and securing my debit card account after PS snuck in and changed my payment to what they wanted to take. In other words they got caught stealing from my account. I only stay there because I am too ill with cancer and Lupus to be moving my belongings to another place and they are the only ones that are so close to my home that I could walk there to make a payment if I have to. I am afraid to try making a payment over the internet because the first and last time I did that they saw opportunity and they jumped right on it. They can not be trusted so I make sure that I go there and make my payment in person . Today I went in and made a cash payment only to have Connie the manager still try to steal one dollar from me. My change was to be 74 dollars and some change. She took all of five minutes to count it at the draw before she finally came over to me and started counting it out. once she got to 66 she skipped right over 67 and went to 68 placing the one dollar bills down one at a time as she counted. She had just enough ones to count to to 74 and act like it was correct. I took the money and said No this is a dollar short and she said oh okay and started to go to the draw without even questioning me ,but I said please wait and let me count it back to you . I did this and it came out short one dollar as I said .I am not sure why this woman keeps trying to cheat me out of money, but she does something shady every time that I have to deal with her. When I look at all of the great reviews that other people leave I can't help but feel like I am being treated differently from everyone else. She does not have any personal knowlege of me so I trully think that she is a racist behind the smiling face.She has lied to me about the units and caused me to just waist $167.00 on a unit that I never even got to use thanks to renovations being done that kept me from moving my goods in. I do think that if you need storage you should first check the BBB and remember That you have choices.They charge more for less and give NO prorate when you move in before the first 22 days of the month, Sad but true. Hope this can help someone from making a big mistake. read more

Use this place as a last resort after you've exhausted any other option. I've had cheaper mortgages than the rental rates here, and it's clear all that matters to them is your money. You pay for the security of your stored items. The exit gates here broke 6 months ago and they still haven't fixed them. Their carts have flat spots on the casters so they barely roll, I guess fixing the gates or replacing a $3 caster is unimportant. Forget saying anything to anybody, they're not around. The front door constantly has a sign saying, "back in 15 minutes" and hours later the door is still locked. All this value and they will still raise your rent 20% after a few months. Forget this place. Fail! read more

My concern is not with this particular location as we have rented a storage unit here for a while now and have always been extremely happy with the cleanliness and security of the property, but with Public Storage as a whole. We were recently notified that our payment would increase by $72 / month, which is roughly 25% of our current cost! (Currently paying $285 and increased to $357). This is huge when you're on a budget. When I contacted customer service as well as the corporate office they had no way of justifying the increase and were not willing to work with us at all! We will be moving storage facilities as soon as possible, will never rent from this company again and will NOT recommend it to family and friends!! Renters beware! read more
