i am rating it a 4 purely bc of the staff. The only reason i continuously use this facility is bc of Magdalena and the other guy ( Chris?) is nice and knowledgeable as well. They are NOT ALLOWED and given zero power to do a thing to be helpful. ...... THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE and i am convinced Lord Voldemort himself is CEO!! I have considered contacting the better business Bureau, many times bc they are basically crooks Who have rigged the entire system to get money and provide absolutely ZERO. The website is intentionally glitchy hard to navigate and slow. An example of an issue I've been having, auto pay just bills you even when its turned off on all your accounts. It will every month try every card you've ever used online to pay a bill, even when have declined your permission!!! and you've asked them not to. They do not financially compensate you for their errors!! They have no one who has any power for you to speak to locally or nationally .....just someone who can " file a request"!! They make the staff call everybody to pay their bills, bf they are even late!! read more

I have moved 7 times in the past 7 years. Not fun, but I'm experienced! Using Public Storage at 5100 Military turned my nightmare into a very nice experience. Because we live out of state, I had my initial experience with Trell over the phone. It was a complicated move, Trell was able to secure 2 storage units , directly across from each other , so I could work between them. And most impressive , he called me to tell me when the one unit I was hoping would come available did. When we got to the office Shauna and Trell were both there to make a good experience better. Shauna with infinite patience, showed us around and explained how to get around the place. The facility is CLEAN, and so conveniently located, right next to the Waste Management facility, where I was able to disgard unusable items, also right off the highway. This facility looks clean and well maintained and is easy to get in and out of carrying lots of stuff. The main thing that makes my rating a 5-star is the property manager, Shauna. She was incredible! She was friendly and attentive in making sure that the unit we received was in perfect condition. Shauna took full ownership of the entire place and it shows. On our way back to look at the unit, Shauna saw a piece of plastic (trash) and stopped to pick it up and make sure the entire facility looked clean. Our unit was missing a light bulb and had gathered some leaves and dirt. Shauna immediately grabbed her stuff, cleaned out the unit and installed a new light bulb for us. She did all this with a smile and great attitude of someone who was happy to do it, instead of someone who just "had to do it". An attitude like that makes all the difference. I recently rented a unit at **Public Storage**, and I had a great experience--largely thanks to **Lisa**, the agent who assisted me. From the moment I walked in, Lisa was **kind, helpful, and incredibly patient**. She took the time to walk me through all my options, answered every question I had (and I had a lot!), and made sure I felt completely comfortable with the rental process. It's rare these days to come across someone so genuinely caring and professional. The facility itself is clean, secure, and well-organized, but it was Lisa's customer service that truly made the difference. She made a stressful situation so much easier and even a little enjoyable. I was very impressed with A-1 Moving and Storage particularly after having lived in my home for 30 years. The advice, referrals and professionalism exhibited was a 5 star rating. The owner arrived on time for the estimate and was very clear in providing instructions on the move and guidance on the packing process.
