The company is amazing, and the crews were absolutely outstanding. They were not only professional and efficient, but also genuinely kind, polite, and a joy to work with. It started out one way. And it ended up in another direction altogether. In March of '24 we…read morecontacted Starline for a moving quote from Las Vegas to Chicago. We got a price but we were not yet ready to move. In June we called back to go ahead but they gave us a different price. They did call back a month later having me walk thru our condo for an itemized inventory. Then we got another price. We told them what we'd pack, told them what they'd pack. Gave them the go-ahead for mid-August. When the movers did show up there were no wardrobes or mirror boxes for any of our belongings and nobody showed an inclination to go get any. So we had to go buy the mover's supplies. We were then told that we had more furniture than we had told the office. It was an itemized inventory so how could that be? You could tell by the way they handled things that they weren't professional. When finished, I signed off on the inventory and was told the furniture would be delivered in 4 days in Chicago but we were never given a copy of the inventory. It would be emailed to us. After a week had, we called looking for our furniture and were told it was still in LV because the driver had no delivery address. After a month, our furniture was delivered but at another higher cost. We could see damaged and broken items as they were put in a pile. But we knew we could file a claim at the end and, again, there was no bill of lading... we were told it would be emailed to us. If so, it never came. Again. What started out at $5600 was now over $11,000. We did file a claim with them which they promptly turned over to their lawyers. We were told to file the necessary forms along with all documentation, pictures and itemized inventory and bill of lading. This is the point where it all comes together: no item. inventory, no bill of lading, no claim!! In Jan. '25 we were told our claim of $1500 had been denied for lack of inventory and/or lading. Starline had never forwarded neither. We've moved many times in the last 25yrs and never encountered this lack of professionalism on so many levels. They give you one price to get you in the door and then they ratchet it up from there. You pay because they have your furniture. They are without honor. Run, don't walk, run away from them. Your items, your treasures, your memories are not worth the headaches they will bring you. Mike Proko (S-5976557)

I have limited time on the weekends to get down and help her pack and before the actual move. I called College Hunks on Saturday once I realized we needed help. Jaslyn booked an appointment for the next day, Sunday, for Brandin and Cole to come out and give us a quote to remove items we no longer need. They were prompt, early even, so kind and helpful. They gave us the quote and were able to move the items out before they left. It was a no pressure quote and they offered to come back after I got other quotes but we needed the items moved that day and they were fair. I would use College Hunks again and really appreciate the help as moving my mother creates a lot of tasks for me to handle and being far away makes it hard. This is one thing I do not need to worry about now.

Scam - your property will be damaged by movers, and you may be too…read more We hired College Hunks for a local move which started with a site walk-through ahead of time. Considering that, I'm unsure how we wound up stuck for multiple days, culminating in a 19-plus hour day and a 1 a.m. move to the new location just 30 minutes away. But the largest issue is how highly unprofessional and shockingly aggressive the movers were. Our belongings were bafflingly thrown from a third floor balcony within a shared community complex, endangering others and ruining property. When we expressed dismay, one employee, Derrick, became violent and had to be physically restrained by another, who actually quit shortly after, citing Derrick's disrespect. Upon arrival, all of our belongings were stacked and left at the entryway; hundreds of pounds of furniture blocking the only door to the home of an elderly couple. College Hunks also left all trash and company packing materials, including dozens of heavy blankets. A staggering amount of our property was damaged too; gauges to a 150-year-old family heirloom, ripped artwork, scuffed tables and floors, multiple shattered glass tables. Not what you'd expect from a multi-thousand dollar move. College Hunks has not offered any compensation, refund, or explanation, despite our repeated attempts to speak with local and corporate leads to discuss further. I genuinely would not recommend them under any circumstance if you value your belongings and personal safety.
