The property was littered with trash, the storage unit they assigned me had three huge holes in the floor which were big enough for rodents/insects to get in from the outside. The front gate also didn't even shut all the way so it is not secure and anyone could enter the property. The property manager herself was rude and not helpful whatsoever read more

If I could give this please zero star, I would. The property manager is a bitch and has a lot of attitude she's going to tell me I can't bring my food there to eat it and they are scammers. They will let you buy a storage sell you a lock and then tell you, you have to buy another one, when they never gave you full instructions that the storage hall to locks. They only told me that the storage I have to buy one lock then they're gonna tell me I will get evicted, but I dare them to evict me. I will sue the fuck out of them. read more

Make sure you try to set up online so you get a better deal. I ended up paying $36 more per month because I had them set it up while I was on the phone after asking some questions. There was no special at the location I was looking for either. The person was very nice though. read more

I searched a few locations and found this Public Storage location to be convenient, spacious, easy to unload and load, and comparably priced. They are opened Sundays which made it very convenient with any questions I had and they were eager to help and very accommodating! read more

This place deserves every low rating and more. I am astonished that people continue to post bad reviews and yet they stay in business. Worst customer service ever. Inflexible, unaccommodating, and just plain horrid. Oh, and heaven forbid you should die. I wish your family luck in trying to retrieve stored belongings. read more

So far the employe I dealt with was very helpful and friendly. I rented it on the 22nd but wasn't told it was only to the 1st. Hopefully they didn't give me the $1 rental for nine days. The only thing I don like is the hours. It should be 24/7. read more

People are nice, facility is clean. That said, if you plan on accessing your storage unit after 6 pm on weekdays or 5 pm on weekends, forget it. We were told there was an "incident" so they have went to earlier hours regardless of the contract that stated supervised access until 6 and gate access until 9pm. Very inconvenient for most working people. May consider another storage place in Newark, DE with gate access until 10pm and about $15 dollars cheaper. read more

This weekend at 5:30 pm we couldn't access the facility at that time we were told that they had change the gate access to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday and 5:00 pm on the weekends!!! Wish I would have read the reviews first!!! I paid 133 dollars on Feb. 24 for storage, they took out $153. I got a call today March 4th for my payment for the Month of March. 68 dollars. I ask what did I pay for in Feb? They said 24.99 admin. fees, $15 for insurance $63 for the month of Feb. and $20 for a lock.. I explained that only equals 122, my receipt says $133 but you took $153 from my bank.. Why? Couldn't explain it.. Needless to say I called the bank and disputed the charge and I wont ever use this storage facility and I definitely don't and wont recommend them.. EVER!!! read more

Worst storage place every. I rented the unit on August 27, 2017. On sept 4, 2017 public storage started calling me and claiming I owe them money. I Paid my bill on the 8/27/2017. $118. I'm finally out of this storage unit, thank god. But I'm not done dealing with the company. I sent a move out notification to them a week in advance. It said reimbursements upon leaving. Well, Today is the first of December, they're charging me the entire month's rent. They won't prorate the ONE day. And I would have been out yesterday had it not been for work and a family emergency. Oh and by the way, my rent started at $74 for a 5x10 and is now $112. Don't think you're locked into a price, because you're not. Can't wait to be done with this place. read more

If you're looking for a storage company that will up your bill by the month by $10, you're in luck! I went from paying about $60 a month, to $112 for a 5x10 unit. A unit that was broken into. They have no security cameras, no after hours security, staff isn't that friendly... let's see what else can I say.... When I told them I was looking around closer to home for storage unit prices, I found units that were significantly cheaper. They said I had to be lying. Up to now, I have had no problem. The manager was polite, courteous and available. Yes the hours could be better, but I actually prefer less hours and better security. The contract was extremely clear about all conditions that other people seem to have a problem with. Yes, the hours are not that work friendly. Do not rent here. Rented a storage unit only to have the rate increased. Then they also just so happen to cancelled being able to be prorated if you cancelled before mid month. Needless to say they increased the price and force you to pay the whole month after doing so!! read more

We rented a unit to store our daughters UDel belongings over the summer for her apartment this fall. We received a phone call in August that many units were broken into and ours was one of them. They weren't sure if anything was taken but wanted us to come look. As we would be down in Delaware from Massachusetts in two weeks they put their lock on the unit until we got there. We arrived today and the staff was extremely unhelpful and out right nasty to us. They expressed absolutely no empathy or responsibility for the break in and told us to contact the insurance company if anything was missing. When they opened the unit it was totally ransacked, boxes ripped opened and things thrown on the ground. When asked if they had a boxes that we could use to clean up they told us we would have to purchase them. We loaded the car up and asked them to lock the unit until we could come back for another car load. They told us we have to provide our own lock and refused to lock it again. At this point it isn't clear what is missing but regardless of the steps that we will need to do to file a claim, the staff were so inconsiderate and really showed that they didn't care that the break in at their facility created major stress for their customers. Someone needs to give them customer service training. We will never rent from them again. read more
