When it was Jonathan's there was a great group of staff there , very kind and compassionate and very helpful and willing to work with you considering it was also the pandemic and a lot of people were going through enough at the time . When it was bought out and changed to Newark safe storage that when it became a nightmare to deal with ! The new employees and owners were and are horrible. very incompassionate, rude , never were understanding about anyone's situation at all and never are willing to work with you ! Just unbelievablle and inconsiderate and uncaring especially in the time of the pandemic. I had a storage unit there for 2 years with all my belongings in the entire world after moving from out of state 3 weeks before Covid hit , so it taking now longer to find a place to move to. Two years of paying every month and on time , at the end of 2021 had to get set up on a payment arrangement for the first time to no fault of our own and was still making payments and they said I had till February 5th to get caught up ( and wasn't that far behind) . I called February 4th to pay the rest of the balance and the girl said our stuff was auctioned off in January, and proceeded to tell me there wasn't any notes on my account saying anything about February 5th. So long story short they sold all of our belongings , some things very sentimental and irreplaceable that had been handed down in the family! This place is horrible and the people very uncaring and very heartless. Ive called BBB on them and hope they get shut down . They auctioned our stuff with no warning , no phone call , nothing . They are supposed to let you know an auction date if your behind and for me I had to the money to pay up and they got rid of our stuff a month before the date they gave me , which is crazy and very unprofessional. So I'm warning the public now stay away from this place please because they don't care about anyone and will get rid of your stuff with no warning. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what we went through and the pain of loosing your belongings! So PLEASE STAY clear of this company. VERY BAD

All showed up in smaller 16 ft trucks and some showed up with only 2 guys. Between these four moving companies they placed my belongings back and forth in an unsecured garage that had previous field mice activity (droppings present). Between the previous movers, they moved my belongings, including a new bed and mattress still in plastic, into the garage and back into my house multiple times between all of these movers. I have a bad back and there's nothing I could do about it. It was a legitimate mess created by four previous movers. These guys were coming in to save the day. However, this company was unable to complete the move too. I requested a 26 ft. truck and three guys. Three of the nicest guys showed up but with a small truck, again. They said they were going to get gloves due to visible droppings and showed back up at my house over an hour later in hazmat suits due. I said let's just junk everything. They were supposed to give me a quote for junking the entire garage but that never happened. Due to the drama and not completing my move and/or junking request, I don't recommend. Thanks.
