Been Moving is hands down the most professional movers I have ever dealt with. I have used them 3 times and I honestly don't think I'd ever go with anyone else. Let me tell you what I put Been Moving through and their response. We were looking to schedule a move to our new house 3 hours away from our current house. Been Moving's response: No problem. We agreed on a quote and scheduled the move. We also had a storage unit. We had planned on coming back down to grab everything because it was a big ask to unload a house, drive to a storage unit and load that up, then head 3 hours and unload both. We figured we'd ask anyway. Been Moving's response: No problem. A few days before our move, we found out that absolutely everything must be moved out the day of our move. Been Moving's response: No problem. The day of the move, Been Moving arrived, started loading our house up, and realized that there was a lot more then what we had initially told them. What did they do? Grabbed a second truck and kept on working. We then drove 3 hours out (through rush hour traffic and closed highway exits) and the crew immediately got to work. I felt horrible about the situation we put them through and offered to help. The crew refused to let me lift anything. They kept working harder than you can imagine. I cannot express enough how appreciative I am of Been Moving. If you are planning a move, don't go with anyone else. TL;DR Version: Tim and his crew are top notch and I cannot recommend them enough. I wish all small business could conduct business like Tim. Honest and caring. Long Version: I spent a long time looking for a moving company for out of state move. After contacting several companies that wanted to just guess on what they wanted to charge for the move, i started to look into small independent companies. I've read more reviews for moving companies in the Wilmington area than I want to admit. I contacted Tim, he suggested that he come to the house and put eyes on the job. Having a huge music and tool collection this was a must to understand the move. He quoted the job of loading, driving 12 hours out of state in the middle of winter storms and then back to DE at a very competitive rate. He and his team showed up on time and handled my belongings as if it was their own. Making sure to secure and keep fragile things safe. The following day after an all night drive thru the snow / white out condition of PA mountains they arrived and unloaded again taking time to ensure things were where they needed to be and handled with care. He even took time while driving to make sure I made it thru the storms as well, which goes to show that I was not just another job or invoice to him and his team. read more

My husband and I were searching for a moving company and I happen to come across Been Moving Services. This was the first moving company that I read all of the reviews and they were all excellent. We called Tim and set up a time to FaceTime so that he could see what we had to move and the distance between houses. Tim reviewed everything a provided a very fair quote. The bottom line is, if we called Tim, he answered every time and made sure all of our questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed. Tim provided continuous communication from the time of hiring to the final drop off at our new home. He and his team were professional, personable and a pleasure to be around on a very long day ( 12+ hours). Tim stood by his original quote, even though there were a few obstacles, ie. I had been stressed out about a cross-country move for months. Tim at Been Moving Services was the first person to get back to me and had the best price of the 3 estimates I received. I called Tim and he was very knowledgeable about my situation, which was picking up my things and packing them into a Pod at the Pod facility. Another review mentioned there was a plan in place to get their move done and it was no different in my case. I had other questions leading up to the move and they were always answered promptly. Tim and Loquan showed up early, loaded up quickly and carefully, skillfully loaded up the Pod and we were done with 90 minutes to spare before the place closed. The Pod showed up 2600 miles away and it appeared nothing had really moved around in the Pod at all. I was honestly shocked and relieved. I am moving from long island to Rehoboth beach and researched several movers who could meet me on a Sunday to unload a truck that would arrive at a generally agreed time. Tim was incredibly helpful and responsive and reasonable! There is a lot of stress associated with such a long distance move and having someone like BeenMoving took a huge load off my shoulders. I can't recommend Tim & his company enough. They were able to squeeze me in super last minute when I needed to have my apartment moved 95 miles north, from south jersey to north jersey. They came from Delaware and were more reliable than my own local area's movers. Tim & his team were efficient, friendly, and paid attention to detail. They planned things well ahead with packing and also able to come a day before to complete all the packing stuff so that pick day is free from packing.
