Been Moving is hands down the most professional movers I have ever dealt with. I have used them 3 times and I honestly don't think I'd ever go with anyone else. Let me tell you what I put Been Moving through and their response. We were looking to schedule a move to our new house 3 hours away from our current house. Been Moving's response: No problem. We agreed on a quote and scheduled the move. We also had a storage unit. We had planned on coming back down to grab everything because it was a big ask to unload a house, drive to a storage unit and load that up, then head 3 hours and unload both. We figured we'd ask anyway. Been Moving's response: No problem. A few days before our move, we found out that absolutely everything must be moved out the day of our move. Been Moving's response: No problem. The day of the move, Been Moving arrived, started loading our house up, and realized that there was a lot more then what we had initially told them. What did they do? Grabbed a second truck and kept on working. We then drove 3 hours out (through rush hour traffic and closed highway exits) and the crew immediately got to work. I felt horrible about the situation we put them through and offered to help. The crew refused to let me lift anything. They kept working harder than you can imagine. I cannot express enough how appreciative I am of Been Moving. If you are planning a move, don't go with anyone else. Been Moving has you covered and will assure all of your items arrive on time and exactly as you left them. read more

TL;DR Version: Tim and his crew are top notch and I cannot recommend them enough. I wish all small business could conduct business like Tim. Honest and caring. Long Version: I spent a long time looking for a moving company for out of state move. After contacting several companies that wanted to just guess on what they wanted to charge for the move, i started to look into small independent companies. I've read more reviews for moving companies in the Wilmington area than I want to admit. I contacted Tim, he suggested that he come to the house and put eyes on the job. Having a huge music and tool collection this was a must to understand the move. He quoted the job of loading, driving 12 hours out of state in the middle of winter storms and then back to DE at a very competitive rate. He and his team showed up on time and handled my belongings as if it was their own. Making sure to secure and keep fragile things safe. The following day after an all night drive thru the snow / white out condition of PA mountains they arrived and unloaded again taking time to ensure things were where they needed to be and handled with care. He even took time while driving to make sure I made it thru the storms as well, which goes to show that I was not just another job or invoice to him and his team. read more

My husband and I were searching for a moving company and I happen to come across Been Moving Services. This was the first moving company that I read all of the reviews and they were all excellent. We called Tim and set up a time to FaceTime so that he could see what we had to move and the distance between houses. Tim reviewed everything a provided a very fair quote. The bottom line is, if we called Tim, he answered every time and made sure all of our questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed. Tim provided continuous communication from the time of hiring to the final drop off at our new home. He and his team were professional, personable and a pleasure to be around on a very long day ( 12+ hours). Tim stood by his original quote, even though there were a few obstacles, ie. A snow shower and a steep driveway. Tim and his team are carefully wrapped all of our belongings. They were efficient and effective. We would certainly recommend Been Moving Services and would definitely use them again should we need a mover. Thank you Tim and your team for making a stressful day for me, my husband and two dogs as easy as it could be. We appreciate you. Karen & Dan Debelius read more

I had been stressed out about a cross-country move for months. Tim at Been Moving Services was the first person to get back to me and had the best price of the 3 estimates I received. I called Tim and he was very knowledgeable about my situation, which was picking up my things and packing them into a Pod at the Pod facility. Another review mentioned there was a plan in place to get their move done and it was no different in my case. I had other questions leading up to the move and they were always answered promptly. Tim and Loquan showed up early, loaded up quickly and carefully, skillfully loaded up the Pod and we were done with 90 minutes to spare before the place closed. The Pod showed up 2600 miles away and it appeared nothing had really moved around in the Pod at all. I was honestly shocked and relieved. I would highly recommend Been Moving Services to anyone who needs a move planned and executed in a courteous, professional manor. read more

I am moving from long island to Rehoboth beach and researched several movers who could meet me on a Sunday to unload a truck that would arrive at a generally agreed time. Tim was incredibly helpful and responsive and reasonable! There is a lot of stress associated with such a long distance move and having someone like BeenMoving took a huge load off my shoulders. He responded to every email or text and kept in touch the entire time we were driving to Delaware. This was so reassuring as my biggest fear would be that anyone I hired would just disappear but not them! They were in the driveway waiting for us! They began unloading the truck immediately and within 1.5 hrs they were done! Always courteous and careful and most of all, DEPENDABlE! , this is the team you want on your side. Thank you Been Moving for making my move to Delaware the smoothest and most stress free it could've possibly been! Mitchell Shahade read more

Newark, Delaware 19713 - I was in need of a Spring clean up and fresh mulch for the garden beds in the front and on the sides of my home and was also looking for routine lawn cutting, trimming etc...every week to 10 days to keep my lawn looking neat and cared for. I want to support new small businesses in my home town. I contacted J&O Kuttz for an estimate. The owner was very polite and came out promptly to provide an estimate. Since we are the middle of a Covid-19 pandemic, he wore a mask and maintained social distance throughout the walk around inspection of my property. My lawn was cut and trimmed promptly. He returned as scheduled for the weeding and mulching of my front and side flower beds. Prompt, courteous, respectful are the words that I would choose describe my experience!! read more

I had a fantastic experience with Been Moving Services. Tim, the owner, was professional, flexible, and refreshingly honest from start to finish. He gave me a clear quote over the phone, and when my plans changed (new delivery date, a few local drop-offs, and some last-minute changes to what was being moved), Tim handled everything with kindness and thoughtfulness--no stress, no attitude. His crew worked incredibly hard and took great care with all of my furniture. You can tell they're experienced and genuinely careful, which made a big difference during a busy move. I can't recommend Tim & his company enough. They were able to squeeze me in super last minute when I needed to have my apartment moved 95 miles north, from south jersey to north jersey. They came from Delaware and were more reliable than my own local area's movers. Tim & his team were efficient, friendly, and paid attention to detail. They wrapped my furniture to protect every piece, asked questions to clarify certain things, and had my entire apartment emptied in about an hour - I was amazed by their efficiency and hard work, especially considering the 95+ degree temperatures. Great price and great work. If you need movers, look no further because they are definitely your guys. Thanks so much. read more

I work in accounting for a large gastroenterology practice in Florida, and after finding a great online deal on a machine we needed for one of our surgery centers, the seller recommended Tim to handle the logistics. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. Tim was timely, communicative, organized, and extremely knowledgeable about shipping requirements, weight specifications, and pricing. He ensured our business hours were clearly noted on the bill of lading and proactively followed up throughout the process without being prompted. He made what could have been a complicated transaction feel seamless. Professional, responsive, and reliable. I highly recommend working with him! read more

I highly recommend this moving company. They are very accommodating throughout the entire process from scheduling through completion. They are friendly, hard-working, and very affordable. Tim and his crew asked questions to clarify and make things as easy for me as possible throughout the move. They were incredible and were able to get everything for a 2,000 sq. ft. house moved from storage into a house with 100 degree heat in a day! I am so glad we used Tim & can't begin to thank him enough for everything! This company is definitely a winner in my opinion! read more

I recently hired been moving for my long distance move from NJ to GA. Tim and his members did a excellent job in packing and moving things. They planned things well ahead with packing and also able to come a day before to complete all the packing stuff so that pick day is free from packing. The team also did a fantastic job in delivering things the next day itself. Believe it they really drove for 13 hours and delivered my stuff the next day. The movers arrived and did an excellent job. They were respectful, humble, calm, and professional throughout the entire move. They handled all of my belongings with great care, and everything was moved safely. To make things even better, I discovered that my car had a flat tire, and Tim kindly went above and beyond by changing it and putting on my spare tire. I truly appreciated his help and willingness to assist. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional movers. Tim and his crew were the best moving company I have had the pleasure to interact with. They were able to move my large 2 room apartment into a small 5'x10' storage space - expertly and carefully packing each item and arranging to maximize space in the storage unit. They were so kind and attentive, and efficient with the job. I will definitely be using their services again. They were also in the cheapest range for price point of the 5 moving companies I received quotes from. 5/5 for making my moving process as smooth as possible. read more

We recommend Been Moving Services. Tim and his crew moved our 5 bedroom house from Harbeson to Lewes. They arrived when expected and broke down beds; packed mirrors, the tv; all the patio furniture - Everything was done efficiently and carefully. The four young men were polite and worked speedily. We couldn't be more pleased with our move. Additionally we had Tim and Earnest pack up and move our dining room set to Fairfax County, VA.
