On the day of the move, Tyrone contacted me to confirm my address and a place to park. The crew arrived on time and were very respectful of my house and moved the items quickly and with care. Each of the crew members were pleasant and asked appropriate questions about the particular items that needed care. Steve was a fantastic mover. I had just purchased a couch from the Home Furnishing Consignment store and the store manager recommended Steve for delivery to my apartment. I spoke with Steve upon completing the purchase, and he was able to accommodate the couch delivery for that same day for a reasonable price. He was highly responsive to both phone calls and texts, and we were able to communicate without issue. When he arrived, Steve was friendly, charismatic, and had a positive can-do attitude. It turns out a mere home delivery was a challenging event: my couch was large and heavy - a deep three seat sleeper couch - and would barely fit in the elevator or through the doorway and entryway of my apartment. Steve and his supporting mover (Marcus?) had to both lift it and turn it at odd angles. Steve mentioned he had to "draw on his years of Mini Mover University" for this one. I also appreciated that they were mindful of not damaging anything in their path (such as the overhead light in the entryway). Honestly, I think I have to use Mini Movers when I move out of this unit, because I don't think another moving company could get my couch out of the apartment or apartment building. Can I give more than 5 stars?! I actually never hired movers before, so if you're in the same boat, I hope this eases your mind in deciding. I felt really lost in the process and scared of getting ripped off and of things getting damaged. I was also astounded by the prices we were quoted other places. Although I didn't have a lot of furniture, it took them less than 2 hours to move everything from my old apartment into my new house. Steve and the young man with him (I wish I had caught his name) were awesome! They were clean, careful, masked (as much as they were able,) and just pleasant people in general. I needed an adjustable bed picked up from a porch and brought to my second floor.the move was as smooth as butter..but the frame required much more set up than anyone anticipated, due to being fully broken down by the prior owners (aka my angels from bed-heaven.) They guys stuck it out and stayed until I had my dream bed all set up and ready to go. I highly recommend this business and will use them in the future, for sure.
