Despite that, I was disappointed that the POD they were hired to fill was not completely full and many of the boxes packed were left behind. TERRIBLE. I scheduled an appointment for furniture to be picked up from my storage unit. I waited almost 30 minutes for them to not show up. I moved everything down by myself and they didn't even have the common courtesy to answer the phone. they finally texted me back and said "No unfortunately we can't today truck issues", and STILL wouldn't answer my calls. Erin called me back and was not accommodating at all. I would NEVER recommend this unprofessional company to anyone. You're better off getting a U-Haul truck. My husband and I were preparing to move into our first home and were looking for movers. A neighbor in our apartment building hired them for removal and I snapped a photo of the truck to keep them in mind. It's a family owned company. I submitted a request online for a quote and received a callback the next day. They come out to see what they're working with prior to giving an estimate. The price was reasonable and significantly less than I had been quoted by others in the past. Erin reached out to me a few times to just to check in which was very sweet. Bobby and his team showed up on time and got to work. They took care when carrying my (mostly Ikea ) furniture down from the third floor on the hottest day of the week. They moved quickly yet carefully when unloading our belongings. Hopefully we won't be moving again anytime soon but they'll be our first call. read more

I've used McGrory Moving three times now. My last move was out of storage and out of the city rowhome we were living in, into our newly painted and refloored dream home. The crew was very careful with not only our belongings but also careful to not scratch up the new paint job. They were very patient with asking where things should be placed and even asked if I wanted anything re-positioned at the end of the job. They made sure the legs on our bed were tightened up and secure when they put it back together. They were conscientious about making sure our cat didn't sneak out of his room. Lastly, this company values good and timely communication. Anytime I've called or emailed I've gotten a timely response from the owner Kyle and / or his staff. And Jamie, who has been my crew leader for a few of the moves, is also terrific - letting me know when they were on their way, making sure I was aware of any pre-existing damages, and bringing any minor complications with the move to my attention. I first encountered this company through making a donation to ValueI Thrift Shop in Aldan, PA, and the gentleman I donated the furniture and items to used McGrory Moving and Junk Removal. I am so glad that he did! Sadly, I forgot the two individuals' names who did the job but they were male and female and they were outstanding! They were courteous, personable, professional, and fast as lightening, all the while being careful not to damage the property. Well, it was time for me to move but beforehand, with the help of family, we could only accomplish so much, and let me tell you, it was grueling work, so I called this wonderful company and spoke with Erin, Customer Service, who truly knows how to relate to people! She was personable, empathetic, professional, competent, you name it, she's got it all! I intend to meet her! Previous to moving, I got an estimate and Mark and Isaiah came. What great guys they are! So moving day came and this time it was Mark and Lenny and they came early--they were well organized--moved fast--nothing was too hard for them. There was an obstacle at one point, but Mark handled it like a pro. Lenny was going up and down those steps like there was no tomorrow! LOL! Both of these great guys were like "Speedy Gonzalez!" I was amazed at their speed and agility, and confidence. They worked so hard and it was a hot day, which started out with rain, and not only that, but they had to climb a total of 28 steps (including outside). They completed the move with great success, and the cost was very reasonable. What a great experience! Bravo to the gents, and brava to the ladies!
