James from 1Stop Tech Services did not properly diagnose the problem with my GE refrigerator…read more Following his diagnostic check he came into my living room and gave me a complete repair quote of more than $300 (don't remember exact amount) which included an alleged cost of an air damper which he quoted to be $171. Given that he could not verify the cost of the air damper, I simply paid him for the diagnostic check and later contacted GE for a price quote of the damper for my model refrigerator. GE quoted a price in the amount of $105. A service technician from GE checked my refrigerator one week later and told me that I needed to replace my defrost heater and thermostat. Twice the technician told me that my air damper was operating properly. The name Djymptz Joseph came up on my phone when I sent James a cash app payment. James should not service refrigerators if not qualified nor should he defraud well-meaning customers who simply wish to honestly participate in a business transaction and not waste hard-earned money.
