The home did not have a wired electric doorbell which was required for my cameras, and Adam (owner of 1 Solution AV) was quick to reach out. I had initially asked for recommendations for electrician but appreciated that he reached out privately to explain what I would need done. Adam immediately offered to come over and look at what I would need done and provided a free estimate. His communication / response time was quick and professional. Throughout the estimate he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After receiving the quote, he provided his card and without pressuring whatsoever said to call if I was interested. I reached out the same day to get scheduled. He was again quick to respond and booked me within the same week. He even reached out again to help move my installation to a Sunday morning due to the weather forecast. We had some hiccups with the security system equipment (no fault of his own) and he was quick to assist as I spoke to the security system customer service. I needed CAT6 cable running all over the house for cameras etc. back to a wall mounted rack in the basement. Adam came round to provide an estimate. He had no problem taking the time to explain different options, discuss camera locations etc. His demeanor immediately put me at ease and I felt he would be a contractor I could trust. 1 Solution AV/Adam is extremely busy, so it took some time to get an official estimate. Adam did apologize, explaining he is extremely busy. I didn't see this as an issue (more a good sign really!) but it's something to consider if you need something done urgently. Adam turned up to complete the work as planned. He was meticulous in working out how to run the cables in the house taking care to minimize the need to cut walls and ceilings. Once complete, everything was tested and labeled well. Adam also cleared up well and repaired any drywall that he had cut for the cable runs. As a bonus Adam was also able to help me fit my Unifi doorbell and didn't complain when I would do the usual "oh something else I forgot about"... almost like it was something that happened all the time/he expected. Most likely the case. I will definitely have Adam back to run some more drops for me (I forgot about!) and to hang some TVs. If you want a good, reasonably priced AV installer with a good, professional attitude and sense of humor then 1 AV Solutions are for you... but don't be too disappointed if you need to wait.
