Everytime I come here or walk by here "Laquette" is the only ps employee I see and have interaction with,she is very polite and professional and skillfully addresses all my questions and needs. The place is infested with roaches and silverfish which you will be bringing home if you do not fumigate your stuff. And be warned that if you leave your unit even on the 1st of the month, you will be charged for the whole month and there is no prorated refund. So plan to leave right just before the end of the month or you will be paying them 1 month in excess. read more

Public Storage has to be the worse company to store your stuff with. Beware of their tactics. They don't send complete invoice, when they do send an invoice it's incorrect and missing line items and not sent in a timely manner. They don't answer any emails you send them. If you give them your phone number. They will spam you with text messages and refuse to stop. Asking that you come to their facility to sign paperwork for them to stop. Which is illegal. They constantly change your monthly payments without proper notice. Avoid storing your items here by any means necessary. Public Storage is a scam company with absolutely no ethics at all. One of their biggest scams is the locks on the units. They charge you $24 for each lock that cost $4. But here's the thing, they don't tell you this until after you've paid for the unit. The locks they use can't be found even at Home Depot or Walmart. The locks are only available online at a cost of no more than $8. If they remove the lock from your unit. They keep it, they don't return it. They actually use a master key to unlock and than make you buy another one for $24. read more

It was easy to find information online, select the storage unit size that I wanted and was available, and to book and pay for everything online: when I arrived at the storage unit with my movers I didn't even need to speak with anyone! I could proceed to the storage unit with the access code that had need sent to me via text. The unit was perfectly clean, and the lock was securely placed inside the unit. I highly recommend this facility!! All done and moved in in less than 48 hours! read more

This does have roaches I'll see how serious once I move my stuff out. The location and parking available is good. Post office on the corner. it is old the floor is rough elevator old no extra security for elevator I came because I had deal online 50-% off. It went up no notice so I'm moving my stuff now. BE AWARE if you intend to become a Public Storage customer. If you vacate your units on the first of the month, usually when you are moving, guess what... you'll be paying for the entire month. Also very expensive, I just lost over $500. No prorating whatsoever, so they take full advantage of working people when weekends fall in the beginning of the month and double dip on the unit. If you complain... they just spit THE (trap) CONTRACT on your face saying that you signed it and it says "no prorating". They also MANDATE that you pay extra for insurance every month as they are not responsible for their premises issues (I had water damage to my furniture) and damages to your belongings. It is in my opinion a company without ethics who writes unilateral contracts in small print for their customers to sign, taking advantage of customers' needs and hires the most rude, uneducated, impolite, lazy, unprofessional and incompetent property managers who makes you wait while they play on their cell phones and refuses to have you accompany them during the inspection of the unit after you vacate, which is a customer's right. Make sure to do a thorough search for a mini storage unit before you fall into this trap. A "not as convenient" location maybe much more convenient for anyone's pockets and dignity. I went there in person on July 31 and they extra charged me $21.00 plus tax and when I asked Dorothy told me your account was on AutoPay!! and because you started at the latest day of the month you have to pay for 2 more days!! The staff here provides horrible customer service. They CAN NOT be trusted. I travel around the world, and called in to the location to make a payment on my storage unit. They lied and claimed they received the payment. Weeks later my items were compromised by their staff members. Someone that works with the staff personally told me one of the staff members purchased my expensive furniture for $100+ several weeks before it was up for auction. These people are crooks from the manager down to the receptionist. read more

Although the service provided by both Dorothy and Osiris is outstanding, the location lacks proper maintenance. Is it dirty inside, all along the aisles. The location is great if you are around the area with easy access to the I-95 freeway. Also, we saw small cockroaches walking around, even inside my storage area. I had no food in my storage. Prices are ok, but it needs to be cleaned throroughly, maybe even using pressure washing in the common areas. Also definitly it needs fumigation, to kill insects around. read more

HUGE place! Clean! But NOT enough carts. It seems like they only have 3. Have seen one client take all carts 3 to unload their Uhaul. We had to wait numerous times. Very, VERY, inconvenient :-(. Not sure if they have rules for the cart usage but we have seen one person loading one small unit and he had all 3 carts. For the size of the public storage building, the number of cart supply available for clients do not suffice. read more

We stored here for two years. When we took things out of this facility at the end of the period we found certain furniture infested with moths. The moths did considerable damage that required us to throw away the articles. Climate control may have been the problem to explain the moths. We also noticed that many articles had an odor associated with the storage facility. Again may have been issue of climate control. Staff at this location were excellent and very friendly, but the facility itself let us down. read more

I had been using this storage for years, but when I returned in April 2015 I found that unit had been broken into. The lock was cut, but nobody had noticed. All valuable items were missing (part of my guitar collection). I called the police and filed a report, but, to my surprise, there are no cameras on the 4th floor where my unit is located, so there was no way of finding out what happened. The insurance I had purchased from Public Storage had a $100 deductible and a $2,000 limit (my losses exceed $10,000) and I'm still trying to get the money. The manager told me that there had an incident back in February where several units had been broken into. LESSON LEARNED: DON'T LEAVE ANY VALUABLES AT PUBLIC STORAGE. read more

If I could give the customer service both at the main reservation number and the storage on Bird Road no stars, I would. They have been non responsive during hurricane Irma. A week after the hurricane, they have closed their facility without notice to tenants and their elevators are now out of service. They provide no information as to when they are to be repaired and when they will reopen. Furthermore, their district and regional managers do not return calls. I have been with this storage for nearly 2 years and have been beyond satisfied with the staff, service and safety not only for myself but for my belongings as well. Dorthy, the property manager has always gone above and beyond to make my needs met with a breeze and all the other staff as done the same. Danny, came on board about a year ago and fell right into lines with Dorthy to keep the way of working we had consistent, made me and my co-workers feel right at home and always helped to keep our needs met. If there was ever a time that my payments had issues or if i forgot to pay, they were always prompt to update me so that I would continue with the ease that it always had been. I take out an extra unit at least 1x/year for massive event production and they are always great to make sure I am well taken care of and that I can find a unit that meets my needs. Recently my company needed storage in Miami for another brand and hands down, this is where I suggested they make home. The only thing I would change is the ability to dump trash and the ability to access later in the evenings and on weekends as I do events and sometimes need to get in last minute. The staff and all other needs exceed my expectations! read more

The facilities are amazing ! Super clean she takes you to your unit explains you everything step by step is amazing. Buyer beware!!! Dorothy is great but that is about it! The other staff member do not have a clue at this location and give you bad information. The late fees are extraordinarily high and the management team works with third parties to try and sell your stuff at auctions. YOU CAN BE SUCKERED BY THE LOW RATE BUT BUYER BEWARE. I'm really disappointed with this company, I left my apartment and left all my belongings in this public storage, the one that appeared to be very safe, but after 4 months of having my stuff there when I went back half of my things were missing, the most strange thing is that there were no evidence of forced entry at the unit, and of course, THERE ARE NO CAMERAS INSIDE THE BUILDING, so for that reason, I couldn't claim to the insurance anything. I went to speak to the personal in the storage and although the guy that talked to me was very nice, the manager NEVER called me to ask what happened or so, I'M VERY DISAPOINTED, PLEASE DO NOT LEFT YOUR STUFF THERE. read more
