When we first got our storage, they had a move-in special and it was okay. We had an outside unit…read moreof 20x20. Within two years of having this unit, we started with a $150/mo payment and they've been gradually increasing the price every few months. We received another notice (by MAIL, not email) they would be increasing the price to $303/mo by Jan 2025 and it prompted us to leave. I'm very understanding that prices can change but when there is no value to these increases, it's honestly unjust. Our unit got extremely dusty, which I know we kept things there for a while but the amount of bugs imbedded in our items we found was insane. We ended up having to throw out majority of our items because of this. I normally like to give positive feedback on a platform like this or I just don't review at all but this place was disappointing to say the least.

We rented a unit at the (8803 E Pecos Road) right off of Ellsworth near Mesa/Queen Creek. Rent was…read morequoted at $130 a month. After 90 days, we received a post card, which at first glance appeared that they were asking us to update our address. Thankfully, I noticed that the postcard was folded and sealed, or I would've thrown it away. Inside it was a notice of a rate change. My rates went from $130 a month to $210.12!!! Needless to say, we ended our agreement immediately, and moved out. I was very disappointed, and felt like it was a bait and switch. That is quite a rent hike! I have another storage unit in a different area, and have been there for 4 years. They do an annual rent increase of about 5-10%. Not a good look Extra Storage Space.

It is an okay storage facility, but needs improvements. 1)…read moreThe Solar is not even enough to trickle charge your batteries (most is 20 Watts and that is on the brightest day so don't buy their proprietary cables) 2) Dump station is not level (it leans away from the dump drain) so you will not be able to empty your tanks 3) there is not hose connection at the dump station to do you black tank flush 4) Main entry/exit gates malfunction a lot so getting in and out is no guarantee 5) Main Entry/Exit gates say wait for green light, but the green light never cones on 6 ) lost o NON-RV vehicles being stored, lost of work vehicles and makes it scary that you RV may get scratched or damaged

I really had high hopes for this place after it was built but I've been very disappointed. I moved…read moremy trailer here because it had covered parking, a dump station, a water station and a large area to maneuver. This was a step up from the enclosed dirt lot I had my trailer parked at previously. Here's my gripe. The front gate is almost always broken for one reason or another. Either the gate is closed and there are construction cones blocking it, or the gate is open and there are movable chain link fencing panels in front of it. If the gate is blocked, there is a secondary gate but the access area is smaller. It's not really a problem if you have a smaller vehicle, but it can be a pain in the bum if you are pulling a trailer because you have to navigate a tight turn. The turn can be exacerbated if there is traffic too. If the gate has fencing panels in front of it, there's no real point of having a gate at all. The security factor has been eliminated because the panels aren't that secure. Piggybacking off of that is correspondence we received Feb 18th that states: "Due to some very unfortunate circumstances while udpating our gate systems, both of our gates will be down from 10PM-6AM everyday until further notice. we know this may be an inconvenience to some, but we are trying our very hardest to resolve this issue in a timely manner. But we are monitoring our cameras and will have someone posted outside the gate monitoring people coming in and out of the property. We apologise again for the inconvenience this may cause some tenants. we thank you for your patience in this time. we would love to answer any questions that you have. that gate will be propped open during regular gate hours for people to come in and out freely during that time. we are still monitoring all cameras and the gate." My next issue is specifically with security. On one weekend, we discovered that the front office had left the front door unsecured. There was mail/packages out, paperwork out, keys on the desk and the door leading to the storage lot was also unsecured. (See photos) The only number available got us in contact with a "virtual manager" who told us flat out that there was nothing he could do to secure the office. Frustrated, we reached out to Pink Door and we were told via correspondence: "Someone either from the company, or a delivery company who has a temporary code forgot to close it. due to us being understaffed and in a transitional period with our office hours, we have to have some days closed and being virtually managed. I have never had an incident where the door was left open. But all tenant info is locked up safe so no one can access them except for company employees." We did request to have a manager contact us. No one did. And to top this off, rates went up $80/mo starting this month. Pretty unhappy with the lackluster security, chronically broken gates and expensive cost. Even though our old place was a dirt lot, its gate was never broken, the office was always locked up and staff was always physically present.
