So, I've rented a 5x5 space here for almost a year. The location isn't that hard to find and is easy to see off the street. It's just unfortunate that you have to be heading westbound on Valley Blvd in order to get into the driveway; and as you exit, you can only go westbound on Valley Blvd. There are times that I need to go eastbound but have to drive west to the next stop light. Again, unfortunately, I have to make a right turn onto the street and u-turn there because the stop light doesn't have a left or u-turn lane. It is a gated storage property. Just like most places. The place is pretty clean. They're eco-friendly on lights. In the indoor spaces, the lights are on a timer switch. The space was clean when I moved my stuff in. On rainy days, the place can be a bit flooded though. So when I put the hold on the space online, I had thought I was only paying like $35/month. Little did I know that there's another catch, you HAVE to pay for the insurance! Which brought it up to the monthly to $40 or something a bit higher. I don't recall the monthly anymore because it's on autopay. But the final price was a couple dollars less to the previous place I was at, but this location is closer to home. Unfortunately, they hours aren't as late as the last location I was at. They do close the gates @ 9PM. The other location I rented at closed their gates at 10PM. There have been those times where I needed something and it was close to 10PM. But I've learned to make sure I pass by before closing hours. read more

Rats peeded all over, ruined my mattress, couch, curtains broke into a brand new bottle of Nyquil and stained a lot of my stuff Insurance only covers up to $200 But because of Nyquil that cancels out insurance Better to store at CUBE STORAGE A few blocks up, NO rats read more

Don't bring your stuff here. There is a lack of security measures to prevent having your stuff stolen, as it happened to me. In broad daylight, with employees on site. My lock, which is the lock they recommend and sell you, cut off and large items removed with no video to show who, or when. And my storage is only 30 yards from front office. If you dont care about your stuff, throw it away, and don't pay to store it. Practically the same thing. Deputy who took my report told me facility is always getting hit. read more

This storage steals your money after you move out of your storage unit. I've been battling with them to get my refund. I moved out of my storage so that I wouldn't have to pay for the month of August, yet they still charged me after. Now the Corporate headquarters in Glendale are being bureaucratic and instead of issuing the refund are mailing a check which takes "10-15" business days. They have no shame withdrawing from your credit credit card, yet they won't refund as promptly as possible. Don't get Public Storage; they're Corporate Raiders. read more

This is place is horrible. It's infested with RATS - DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT here if you value your belongings. When I informed the girl at the front desk she just laughed and said "oh we had a rat infestation." No one calls you to let you know and when I rented my unit the wall was partially damage from the other unit. Low and behold I go into my unit and find it in disarray, everything throw all over the place....rat droppings and pee everywhere. They ruined my clothes, ate the wood paintings I had...they even chewed through the drywall in the unit. My oriental rug completey destroyed. So get this my friends, you basically end up with nothing...for vermin infestation the claim only covers $250.00 with a $100.00 deductible. What about the workers who fixed the wall and went through all my belongings......the storage facility didn't even notify my me that workers would have privy to my unit through the other unit's wall being fixed. Where is the professional courtesy to an on time paying customer. PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND HEARTBREAK AND DO NOT RENT FROM HERE - the young female at the counter couldn't have been anymore rude and unsympathetic to the situation and she works there. read more

Monica, is the manager at the location she is very nice and friendly! I store at this location for many years and have never received any better deal some where else. Every time I come to the facility Monica always acknowledge the people at the property and greet us with great attitude. Attitude and service comes a long way no matter how great of a deal a place may offer. The place is very convenient because you can drive up to your unity. I've had this storage space for about the last 6 months . So today November 13th 2018 I stopped by to pay my monthly unit of $116 . After paying my bill I went to my unit and once I got the the hallway area I noticed tons of rat dropping . When I opened my unit I noticed a few rat Droppings inside as well . I took a few pics and video. I went over to the front office to mentioned to them what I found and the first thing the person in charge said to me is " you can move out " then she said "i could file a claim ". Instead of let me notify my upper management , let me call the pest company to address the issue and that's if they have a company to keep the units we rent pest free . They're simply a joke . I pay monthly fees that are not cheap and to just to show NO concern for my belonging much less everyone else's and on top of that the desease that come along with the rodent dropping , urine , etc . Most friendly and helful staff ever, Damaris knows the true value of customer service!!! Damaris is so helpful she goes out of her way to help us. We got a storage room at a different location but it was too small so we cancel it. She went out of her way to call the manager to see if we were able to get a refund. We got our refund back thanks to her. She is truly an honest person with great ethics and integrity. She was so great that we ended up getting a bigger storage room from this location.We will definitely recommend her to our family and friend. read more

First of all, the place is clean/nice and accessible! Very good on the availability and options available for storage. Prices and promos are good too! I would definitely recommend IF IT WASNT FOR THE BAD Service. I don't know what this girls problem is, but talk about bad customer service. I don't know her name but I will get it and your managers info as well. So this goes for you. You made me waste my day thinking I can come by and get a second storage unit with whatever options I had received from reserving online. You made me comeback with a second person so my original room would not link to a second person due to your "one per household rule". Then after making a mistake on a phone number I tried changing it and still you said nothing. Only for later for you to tell me you could not do it even if it worked and there was no link between the two. Why? Because you would know the stuff in there belonged to the same person? What are you? The owner/ some vp? Please, you're just a person behind the desk, an associate worker..we've all been there! And when we act like an owner we try to get the customer at all options available. We don't act like a**es and make the customer feel like never coming back or even worse referring my service. Good thing I found another storage place available with BETTER service than you'll ever have. To the owners/ or management. Like I said above, if I act like an owner I will be polite to my customers and provide as much service and I can to try and keep the customer. Not make them run away with my attitude and unprofessionalism. I will get this girls name and be calling soon. But if it want for this bad experience. I would definitely give it 4 stars for the security and clean unless of this place. one star minus because if you come from west, you gotta go all the way to McDonald's and make a you turn there to get into their parking. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR STUFF HERE! i was renting for almost a year and in that year my rent kept going up every few months for the smallest lil unit ever! but that wasn't the issue. the problems began when my stuff was stolen. and I now believe its some kind of inside job. i got a call one day saying during a walk through of the property they noticed my lock was not on correctly. now, i did not go to the storage. maybe 5 times in the year i was renting. but every time i went i double checked that it was locked, i made sure the lock was on correctly and i even looked at all the other locks to make sure i had it on right. I would even have my boyfriend check before we left to make sure there was no way to open it. so i thought it was kind of strange that all of a sudden 6 months later and 3 months from the last time i even went to the storage that my lock was suddenly noticed to be "incorrect". i do not live down the street. i work 2 jobs, working 7 days a week, so it is not easy for me to just drop what i am doing and go down to the storage to check on my unit. my family is from la Puente and prior to me getting a 2nd job i was in town every weekend so that is why i chose to get a storage unit here. but either way i found time to take a trip here just to make sure all my stuff was there and that my lock was on right. to my surprise, the lock was just fine. nothing was missing and everything was ok. so before i left the property i unlocked the unit several times and tried putting on the lock different ways to make sure i had it right. a few months after that (about 3) i got another call that again said during a walk through they noticed my lock was missing and that my storage unit was empty. they asked if i had moved out and wanted to cancel my rent/contract. well since all my stuff was no gone of course i was going to stop paying. i advised the lady that i did not move my stuff and i hadn't been there in months. i was told to come down and make a police report and then call the insurance and that's when all my problems really began. i went down there on several occasions. every single time the person working would tell me the same thing "i don't work here. i am filling in just for today. i don't know the facility. i don't know if theres cameras. i don't know where the cameras are. i don't know if the tapes reviewed. etc etc." i kept asking to speak with the manager and every time they would just give me her card. and when i would call she wasn't in. so my questions as to if the cameras actually work or if my unit was the only one hit are still unanswered several months later. i have also been unable to make my police report because every time i call the police station i am rudely put on hold for over 40 minutes. and again, i do not live down the street and have a busy schedule, i cannot be holding or waiting around for answers all the time. (that's not the fault of the storage facility i know). however, when i am trying to get answers and no one can help and the manager isn't in, how am i supposed to feel at ease? now all my stuff is gone forever. and even though i didn't have stuff of high monetary value, i had something much more expensive in there. MY MEMORIES! i used to cheer and my mom spent hella money on my uniforms. those as well as my national championship jacket i worked so hard to earn are now gone. everyone knows i love Halloween and i spent so many years and money and even time looking for good finds to add to my Halloween costume collection. GONE! my river rafts and tubes that i use every year on my family vacations. GONE. my collection of dvds and playstation games.GONE. but the most important thing of all is my pictures and albums. stuff that cannot be replaced. i hate the people who seriously have no lives that would go in and steal my stuff. but i hate the storage facility and their lack of security and lack of professionalism. they let this happen. and they have yet to give me answers. i did however get once answer no thanks to public storage. i posted on facebook to let my friends and family know that if they see any of my stuff at a yardsale to let me know. i had one response asking where my storage was because hers was also broken into. what a shocker when she told me her stuff was ALSO stolen from this exact location. if you value your property. expensive or not, just go somewhere else. somewhere with real security and real help.and somewhere that there is a person who works there and isn just "filling in". that is all. read more

Storage facility has rats. The mandatory insurance the facility requires you to pay covers a whopping $250 of damage. Paid public storage over $4000 in monthly payments for two years to have all my belongings have rat droppings and urine on it. My stuff is ruined and I get no compensation. Wtf? Be careful using this facility you will notice they now have rat traps on each row. read more
