I recently lost my husband to cancer after him dealing with dialysis. I was not in a good place until I spoke with Elcie the new manager to this property. She helped me secure a unit. Where I could start the hard part of condensing down our home and begin the transition of grieving as well as unloading. Elcie went out of her way to accommodate me as I cried on her shoulder. She was kind loving professional and a good listener. I applaud public storage for having such a great example of management here. Elcie thank you for holding my hand as I shed many years in front of you. And thank you for being my friend even though I just met you. To public Storage upper management. You need a lot more Elcies working for you. read more

Public Storage (at least in the few locations local to me) has abandoned live attendants entirely and gone to an insanely frustrating combination of poorly-planned touch screens and over-worked offsite call center operators. The original unit we were rented was already in use by someone else, and the transfer process was obnoxious both for us and for the operator. The only thing giving the obligatory single star any validity was the pleasant and friendly way both operators tried to help us through the worst process imaginable. read more

Esther at the public storage on Dulles in Missouri city was very helpful and nice. She help me with all my needs.

This facility and location is just straight up GHETTO. Last time I was here I was accosted on Christmas Eve by lady in car claiming to be manager or staff for walking my dogs because they were in the car with me. Saying how they have to clean up after the dogs when I clean up after my own dogs daily (dogs like to walk) and they don't clean anything there - not broken glass, not broken concrete, nothing. Then, they cut my lock off even though the month wasn't up, I paid online on 29th (same month plus late fee) and then made me wait so long to take off their lock that I moved my car. They had plate glass on one side of alleyway/driveway and 12" pot hole on the other side and my new front tire was punctured and I had to call roadside assistance. I could not load my truck from storage unit because now my tire was in truck after I waited with car running and a/c blowing in 100 degree heat. I drove from California to retrieve my stored items only to find lock cut and new lock put on and shattered plate glass on driveway opposite a pothole at least 12" deep. Even the worker who made me wait so long to take off the lock they replaced with my cut lock (over $99 28 days late) and ignored the glass the first time I had to drive around it said they should have fixed the pot holes a long time ago, over a year. I asked him would they pay for my new tire (over $300) and he said he doubted it. So I paid the $99 last night which included $20 late fee only to arrive with my lock cut off and a new lock put on by them then unable to load the truck because the tire blew out due to their minefield. No apology from worker either as I stood there in 100 degrees heat with dogs in car and my own roadside assistance helping me change the tire. This is worst public storage ever and they obviously don't care. Go to another place in the suburbs, it's not worth the closer proximity. Then the lock they cut they left on the ground (see photos). So they just leave debris strewn on their own property. read more

I was at this facility today and everything was running smoothly until ot was time for me to exit. I was provided the wrong access number to exit and I had to stay there for 45 min and wait until someone else came to enter their unit. My nephew called and they told him that someone would be there in about 20 minutes because they were doing administrative work. I really felt that was very bad customer service. read more

You could not find a worse place to store your belongings. I have been "accidentally moved out" of my unit twice now and charged several late fees totaling over $100 plus two $20 lien fees, one which they have yet to refund despite my contacting them numerous times. After receiving emails that my belongings would be confiscated if I did not pay the fees I was finally able to spoke to the property manager George who told me that I needed to "calm down" and that he "couldn't guarantee" that mistakes like this would not happen again. Now, because I live out of state, I have to monitor this account and call weekly to keep them in line (my two year old is easier to manage). I've called the corporate office several times and am still trying to work things out. read more

Rate increases frequently.Unit had damage to walls r.odents .I could see in the unit next to mine through the holes in the walls.Managent seldom in office at the location. read more

Over a 30% rate increase, more than $26 increased with less than two month notice. After I had only been with them for 2-3 months. Spoke with a rep through chat because they claim that unit is worth more that $100 that they are charging more. Just waiting for the next rate increase. Ill update in the next 4-6 months. read more

Public Storage corporate is not willing to work with Americans who have no money due to unemployment from COVID. They add on a late fee and when you beg for help they offer to remove the $28 late fee. Big deal. Presidents, Governors and Representatives who have effectively killed our jobs say we are all in this together. It is quite obvious we are not. Many companies are helping fellow Americans, but a few like Public Storage are predators. Yes many of us will lose our possessions but the American people will ultimately judge those privileged few in corporate boardrooms who have stolen from us. read more

Horrible place to store your belongings. No one ever answers the phone or questions. Rats live there, pooped and peed all over my expensive furniture. Mangers are never available you have to phone cooperate. The PRICE IS RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PLUS INSURANCE AND LATE FEE'S. TOTAL RIP OFF GO ELSEWHERE. THEY HAVE HIDDEN FEE'S FOR EVERYTHING!!!! read more

Someone broke into my unit through the unit next door (empty units are not locked). PS repaired the broken wall but never notified me of the breach. I informed PS of the issue and someone came out to meet me to see the damage but after he said that he would go back and check the cameras, I never heard from him again and he never returned my calls. I lost $15k read more

I loved all the services that public storage provide for me during my moving hassles.I used the location on Bellaire, great guy. He was very professional and friendly and informed me so that there was no way I would have no misunderstanding at all. Loved it. I would definitely recommend their services and would also used them again. Thanks to all services, especially starting with customer services where it all starts. read more

I would not RECOMMEND this place to anyone. I usually don't write reviews but the customers services here is NOT GOOD AT ALL. The manager Johna has NO PEOPLE SKILLS WHAT SO EVER!!! I moved in on the 29th of May and I was already skeptical with move in at the end of the month but she assured me there will be no issues and that my payment would hold me over until the 29th of June. The unit I received was a little bigger then the one I initially I applied for online because their system wasn't updated so the accommodated me. (THANL YOU) So when the JUNE 1st came around they stated that I was responsible for full payment when she stated that I would only be responsible for 1 day which was the 30th of June. I have been trying to get in contact with the District Manager whom approved the transaction and NO ONE HAS RESPONDED to me. I even wrote to corporate and I'm waiting on a callback the money is not the issue its the horrible communication. I've even read my terms and conditions and I see that I was right. So now I'm playing the waiting game waiting on a response from anyone but that store location manager. read more
