It went to 300 dollars a month for about a year with no other options given. We used a tiny space of the unit but that didn't matter to them. They didn't negotiate any other options, toys remained in the until maybe worth 300 when we were charged 300 for a year month after month. I would never give them business or recommend business again. What started out as a compassionate business quickly gave us the cold shoulder. Just sad.

The first floor units are much easier to access & were more desirable, During our most recent move out, we ran into other renters who decided to spread out their items across the walkway while sorting through items. I have been an Extra Space customer for many years and, until recently, have been generally…read moresatisfied with my experience. On October 2, 2026, the property manager, Jack, notified me by phone that one of my units--a 10x20--had become unsafe and required structural repairs. Consequently, he stated that I would be required to transfer my belongings to a comparable unit within 12 days, rather than the 15-day period stipulated in my lease. When I visited the facility to discuss the situation in person, I pointed out that the lease agreement requires 15 days of written notice, not informal phone notice. Jack became belligerent, claiming that the lease did not matter and that the facility could refuse me service at any time. When I asked to be put in contact with the District Manager, he refused. Jack further stated that if I did not comply with his demand, my lock would be removed and the scheduled repairs would proceed regardless. He also threatened to lock me out of all three of my units. I was taken aback by his hostility and aggressiveness. In the past, all of my interactions with Jack have been respectful and cordial, making his abrupt change in tone, attitude, and unprofessional behavior particularly concerning.
