Then the price increased dramatically January 2024 from $63.80 to $104.37 without any warning! They claim they mailed a letter warning of the dramatic increase, but we never received any letter nor email. I called to ask if they could honor the agreed upon price for one more month as we received no notification and the owner who I spoke to one the phone, Mike, was extremely rude and wouldn't even discuss it. Seriously that's over a 60% increase in rent. I would understand 5-10% tops. Way to take advantage of people once you have their belongings as hostage. After a few months of storing our items in a temperature and climate-controlled storage unit, our items were covered with mold. After contacting the company, they sent a nasty email in response that boiled down to not our problem, speak to your insurance and that was the end of the conversation. 2. After dealing with a couple thousands in losses we give up fighting and go to get our stuff removed only for the parking lot, the road through the storage unit and all the sidewalks to still be covered in snow (almost a week after the snow) with out the appearance of even trying let alone salting anything causing dangerous sheets of ice at the entrances of doors. We had to park at a different business and walk to the business. It is so bad that we are having to wait for the snow to be gone before we can even attempt to remove the items, and most likely going to be charged another month for the unit in the meantime. 3. When we went into the office to talk to someone, the lady at the desk was watching something on her phone and giving us short answers while watching the video, not even bothering to turn it off, let alone turn it down. This place is absolutely not the place to store your items, especially if it is something you may need with any kind of urgency, or remotely care about any items you store there.
