Needed to transfer some big storage items that I've been paying on for years into another facility and was hoping this location had lower prices than im currently paying. Met with the sole employee, Dolly, who pleasantly searched her data base for the size I requested and surprisingly an air conditioned unit 5×10×8 is only $157 and the same size on the second floor is $132 (very competitive prices). She informed me that the QR Code on the front door will provide sizes and pricing on all available storage units. This store offers packing supplies and a storage lock for $20.00. The property is open from 6am - 9pm including holidays and unfortunately does not have 24 hour access and does not accept cash. read more

BEWARE!!!!! Only get a storage unit here if you want to constantly get new tires, I have to property management about this multiple times. There are nails and screws everywhere.. I have now gone through over $1000 entire repairs and getting new tires just from coming to the storage. It is almost every single time at this point. Every time I come here, there's another few that I pick up. I have told the cleaners about this and they all seem to do absolutely nothing including the property manager. It's filthy, rusty, feels haunted... The person with the unit next to me was a bit rough when loading their unit and knocked really hard into the wall. Several of my items broke. The monthly rate in JANUARY, 2024, was $54/month for a 5x5 unit (climate controlled, upstairs). I swapped to a 5x10 in FEBRUARY, 2024. It took weeks to clear up some issue with the account and they kept telling me that I was overdue on a payment. (I was not.) The monthly rate for a 5x10 unit (climate controlled, upstairs) was $130/month (inexplicably almost 2.5x more than a unit 50% its size). Whatever... In JUNE, 2024, I received notice that my rate would go up in AUGUST (only six months into my rental) to $170/month, a $40 increase!!! WTF? I'm out! read more

Despite being a customer for a long time, the customer is not valued as they should. I was paying for AC space, yet the overhead door to the AC space was always wide open. I told the office repeatedly and the broken english attendant got mad at me for telling her. That's not how it works. The consistent raising the rate and making insurance a mandatory expense made the decision to move easy. I got the same space at half the price in a cleaner air controlled space. read more

VERY VERY disappointed!!!! I was shocked to learn that since units are month to month the facility can raise the monthly rent as many times as they want and it's legal. After just 13 months they raised my rent twice (almost $90) each month since I originally moved in. The only way I would recommend to get around this is, once they serve you notice that they are raising the rent, go ONLINE (cheaper rate than in store) and make a reservation for the same size unit for the same day they plan to raise it, transfer your belongings to the new unit, then return to the office and inform them that you have vacated your old unit effectively immediately. MAKE SURE YOU GET A CONFIRMATION FROM THEM THAT YOU HAVE VACATED before you leave the property, otherwise they will bill you the following month. read more

Man, after nearly 2 years with Public Storage, I'm very happy to finally be out of there. This location - and especially the management - really disappointed. I get deliveries sent to my storage unit bi-monthly. I left a key to allow the drivers to drop off all my boxes in my unit - TWO times in the last year there wasn't anyone in the office to let the FedEx driver in. The first time I had to go pick them up. I was a little pissed, but I went, got my stuff and called it a day. The second time was a few weeks ago. I had just gotten back from a big work trip and got a call after 3pm. The owner told me FedEx had left all my boxes outside because they were out to lunch. I asked them how I can pay so much (more on this later) and they can't ensure to have someone there all open hours to accept deliveries?! The owner replied back,"Well, we have to eat lunch." Instead of apologizing, he replies back with a snarky quip. I explained how I was literally just arriving back from a long work trip and that I'd go pick them up tomorrow. "Well if you don't come they will be sitting outside. You really should come today." What?! Really? They didn't even offer to hold them for me - or at least drop them off in my unit for me. After all, THEY messed up. No, I had to rush over to get my boxes or they'd leave them outside. Ridiculous. The price of my unit was high. Really high. For a tiny space (and I mean tiny space) I started paying $163, which even though it was super high, I liked how close it was to home. The price eventually went up to $193, which was already leading me explore new storage opportunities. At the point of the second delivery not being accepted, I knew it was time to move on. I'm in a new place now and so far the staff has been SUPER friendly, I've always had a cart available to move my stuff (Public Storage rarely had carts available near my unit) and the palace is overall less rundown in my opinion. 1 star because I had to. They increased our rental rate twice without notification. We were told the second time it was "just a small increase" ($70 may be small to them but not me). We were also told that because there was such a high demand for units that they could increase it so they did. Again - without notification. read more

The staff at this particular location is completely incapable of doing things quickly. There is no such thing as a 5 minute transaction. They're also incapable of actually comprehending a simple request such as, "Can I have proof that I'm ending my contract and am paid in full?" You've been warned. This problem as far as I know only happens at this particular location. Also, they're never in the office during business hours, because it's a perpetual lunch break. Decide what you want, but it seems to be the level of common sense at this location is completely and utterly non-existent. read more

I have watched him training his staff and even District Managers for the company and he is an amazing trainer. I say this because I was the President and COO of a major retail chain. I know what to look for in people....The company should be looking at him for advancement as he has a skill set that most managers don't. STAY AWAY - ABSOLUTLEY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEIVES. My story starts after 4 years of being a customer here. When we were ready to close our account we were assisted by Cat. I had a donation company come and pick up all items with the exception of a dresser and mattress. Cat contracted someone to pick them up on my behalf and closed my account. A month later - Cat is gone and I am charged over $500. Another months rent and removal fees. When I inquire what happened the onsite team states all they can do is put a issue ticket in to the DM and he will contact me. To this day Hector NEVER called me. In a DM role you would think he would lead by example and call the customer. Apparently too much to ask. I ask for a copy of my contract, which by the way does not authorize them to reopen my account nor does it break down the abandon fees. BUYER BEWARE. FYI to corporate you should make that public - cost by weight. After 2 days of pleading my case to the onsite PM, as a liaison to the DM; they agree I was improperly charged and allow me the chance to remove the items. I am grateful and let them know I am calling around places for donation pick up to please give me 48 hours. PM, Dolly, must have short term memory because following day I get a harassing call that I have to pick up items by close of business. "DM said or deal is off." In a state of panic I start to call all donations pick ups and no one can pick up in hours. Left without many options I agree to abandon the items and be charged $257 for them. In the end they got their fee by bulling and being heartless. There are many storage options around - BEWARE of this one and take your business elsewhere. This Public Storage location is one of the best storage locations I have every worked with in many states. The facility is as convenient as possible to access and use. Located right at the 595 exits, you can be in and out with no problem. Inside the facility the ability to unload/load items couldn't be more convenient and close to your unit. Above all the service, and attention from Mike was excellent and above all expectations. Mike took care of everything, explained everything and no games. Mike is the best you could ask for in taking care of your needs. Mike and this facility are the 2 reasons you should consider this location.
