Needed to transfer some big storage items that I've been paying on for years into another facility…read moreand was hoping this location had lower prices than im currently paying. Met with the sole employee, Dolly, who pleasantly searched her data base for the size I requested and surprisingly an air conditioned unit 5×10×8 is only $157 and the same size on the second floor is $132 (very competitive prices). She informed me that the QR Code on the front door will provide sizes and pricing on all available storage units. This store offers packing supplies and a storage lock for $20.00. The property is open from 6am - 9pm including holidays and unfortunately does not have 24 hour access and does not accept cash.

I have now gone through over $1000 entire repairs and getting new tires just from coming to the storage. It is almost every single time at this point. Every time I come here, there's another few that I pick up. I have told the cleaners about this and they all seem to do absolutely nothing including the property manager. Also, the door rarely works, and you have to wait forever to get inside.

Been a loyal customer for about 3 years. Loved the location and the cleanliness. However, the…read morerecent price increase was $74 EACH month. I would have been fine with 10 or even maybe 20 but 74 more each month?! I chose to leave to another location a bit further away and got it for nearly half the price. So disappointed. Also, the $1.00 charge each month for "technology" was ridiculous. It was a dollar so I did not whine but come on people; Really?? Explanation was due to market demands....then why are the other climate controlled, same size, ground floor units in area half the price?

When you first move in, rates are great but as others stated they raise the rates a lot. I started with my unit under $200 per month, one of the bigger units which wasn't bad for the size, within 6 months the rate changed and I started paying more than $300.. couldn't keep up with it and eventually my unit got auctioned off, and I lost every thing, including important documents .. When considering using this company, keep in mind that the rates WILL change and rapidly, that's how they make their money. .

Updated January 2023:…read more The same storage unit I have been renting since 2020 is now $188 a month, with a banged up door since day 1, and nasty front desk lady whom I still avoid after the fiasco in 2020. Upon looking online for price comparison, I see that the same building has the same sized unit I am currently owning for $140 a month... So why am I paying $188 a month for the same unit? Who knows. Keep an eye on your monthly fees. I want to thank Lana from online customer service chat for helping me with the issue at hand. Their online and phone customer service has always been great. I just wish the prices and in the building personnel reflected it. Updated review Dec 2021: Just received an email notifying me my rent would go up from $125 to $160 per month for a 5x11 unit. Last year I had a problem with them raising my rent price multiple times during the year before I gave up and had to complain to get anyone to actually treat me like a decent human being. I really hope this isn't the case again. I find my self avoiding the front desk lady as she always seems to be in a nasty mood.

If you are moving out of State, I would suggest you look for another moving Co.! The "move…read morecoordinator" was totally unorganized and hard to reach. The billing was a nightmare, and I've lost track of how many different people I had to deal with during this long ordeal. Oh, the packing/loaders were great, and the driver was more accessible than the move coordinator in Tampa! Our items were stored at A-1 Freeman in Colorado Sprgs. for 8 months. When we finally had our stuff delivered, the china hutch was damaged, other items were missing, my desk arrived without legs and only one set of golf clubs (my wife's)! Oh, I was finally reimbursed for all of that by North American/SIRVA, but my favorite set of very expensive Calloway clubs were gone. Probably never made it out of Florida!

I have never rated a company before and have never considered Facebook to do it but in this…read moreage...it may be the best way to be heard. When I tried to put my review on their Facebook "write a review" page I was blocked. I have rented a storage unit...and even 2, for 3 years at the Davie, FL facility. Please read the contract VERY carefully. They claim to not be responsible for rodent damage among other things. I moved all of my belongings into a unit 3 years ago, I never expected it to be that long. I moved into a new place on 12/16 so excited to have my own place again and my heart broke when I saw my things in my storage unit. My belongings were ruined. Though my clothes and purses were eaten by "rodents" and covered in feces...Management advised THAT is not covered by insurance. Fortunately, my unit also had a roof leak and THAT damage is covered. Though this storage facility will "lock you out" for non-payment after day five...I have been advised my insurance claim reimbursement can take months. No bed, no furniture and having to throw away 30 years worth of treasures...heartbreaking. If that isn't enough...I was advised that I need to remove the ruined things from the storage unit before the end of the month to not incur additional fees. Please be careful who you do business with. While I was shopping for a unit the others in the area told me "don't go there, you get what you pay for"...I was a single mother who learned a hard lesson. It is now 10 days later and I have submitted my claim, which I was told would be expedited and I have heard from no one. Today I contacted my local management and was told "they are probably closed for the holidays". Very nice! Do people not even acknowledge inconvenience? To date I have paid more than $7,000. to store my belongings. Be careful and aware! Update: it has now been almost 3 weeks since my loss. I paid insurance, had coverage and this company will not respond to any inquiries nor have I been contacted by their insurance company. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will need to obtain legal assistance.
